Tomato cross-bridge rice noodles with beef brisket
    Tan L.

I'd never had Yunnan rice noodles before but I'm a fan now! I got the tomato cross-bridge rice noodles with beef brisket. The portion of meat wasn't huge, but you can always add a side of extra meat. The server walked us through the order of toppings to add into the pot. The thinly sliced beef was tender, and the noodles had a great texture. The real highlight, though, was the tomato broth. It tasted like Campbell's tomato soup leveled up in the best way. They also offer one-pot versions of most dishes, which are cheaper and more straightforward since you don't have to add the ingredients yourself. I'll probably go for one of those next time. Service was excellent!

Stopped by Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle in Mesa and was excited to see it open here! I'm already familiar with the spot since it used to be Meet Fresh, so walking in felt familiar and welcoming. I first discovered Ten Seconds in Vegas and really enjoyed it, so I had to check out this new location. The menu here is a bit different, but I decided to try the Tomato Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles. It was just okay for me, the broth had a flavor that reminded me of canned tomato soup. Ordering is done at the counter, and they bring the food out to your table. One thing I'm really hoping they add is the popcorn chicken like they have at the Vegas location, it's a favorite of mine. There's definitely room to grow, but I'm glad to see them expanding and getting closer to town. Hoping this location finds its rhythm and lives up to the Vegas spot!

A Boiling Bowl of flavor! A fast, flavorful, and unique soup experience. Perfect for noodle lovers who want something hands-on and customizable. What we got: * Original Cross Bridge Rice Noodle Soup * Tomato Cross Bridge Rice Noodle Soup * Garlic Beef Shank (cold appetizer) What hit: The cross bridge noodle concept is super interactive--the broth arrives boiling, and you add in meats, veggies, and noodles yourself. The standard broth was a standout. The beef bone soup was savory and comforting with deep flavor. The garlic beef shank was a chilled, flavorful contrast to the hot dishes. What missed: Ingredients are simple--and there's not a heavy volume of them, so if you wanted more of one, you'd have to order more for a price. Overall, a creative and satisfying meal. Fun to do with family/friends or as a casual dining adventure. Quick and attentive service throughout the dining experience.

I really enjoy the uniqueness of the noodle dish they have here. It is very fun when they bring out the hot bowl with all of the sides on the side and then you add them in one by one to create the perfect soup noodle. I've been there a few times already and each time have been impressed with the food as they are able to keep the quality Very consistent. There are not a lot of seating spaces inside so during busy times there might be a slight wait, but the staff is super friendly and the ordering process is pretty easy.

This place has pretty good service and great food. The restaurant is clean and decently sized. I tried the mixed noodle with beef shank and the Szechuan Pepper Beef Flank Rice Noodle Soup. For the mixed noodle, the noodles are bouncy with good texture and flavor. I got the mixed noodle with extra fried egg. The fried egg has a good flavor, kind of like a jianbing actually. The meat was well cooked, tender, and flavorful. The noodle soup was also very good. The pepper makes the soup very refreshing, the beef is extremely tender, and all of it comes together very nicely. Both dishes are around 16-18, definitely on the pricier side. The service was pretty great until near the end of service where I ran out of water without a refill. Probably around a 4/5 Service. Overall a good Chinese noodle shop in a decent location. I'd definitely come back and try their offerings but wish it was a tad bit cheaper.

I have tried this restaurant in Salt Lake City before and am so happy it finally comes to Arizona!! The service was really good! I read some posts before saying the food came out slowly, which was not the case for me at all. This dish came out really hot because you need to put variety of ingredients in the soup and let the heat cook them. The noodle portion was also good and not too chewy or soft. The soup was very umami and I almost drank all. Highly recommend it if you like rice noodles or noodle soup in general!

Since there weren't hours posted online(for this location) or any on the restaurant storefront I came in at 7:50 and they informed that they close at 8. However they were still happy to take us in and other parties after us too. The green peppercorn noodle soup was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten not even glazing. The broth was really flavorful and this was recommended by the staff to order. The amount of toppings and portion of food were really good I had to take the rest home to eat and even heating it up the next day it was still amazing to eat (noodles did not break/go bad) I'll glaze this plaze idgaf

Recommend: Yes! Food: Yum! Everything was great. Service: attentive and knowledgable My favorite: Golden Broth Cross-bridge Rice Noodle Ambience: clean, tables are not crowded together (spacious) Details: actually came here during their soft opening before their Yelp page was up. I got to tried several items on their menu. We got to try the original and golden broth for cross-bridge noodles. I would have to say the golden broth was much more flavorful. Those items come with a variety of small sides of different toppings. They have an instruction on how to put things in order in a sign. We also go their spicy beef brisket rice noodle soup. It was flavorful and definitely has some spice and kick to it. If you love noodles, this is definitely a place to check out.

Great place to go when you are craving tasty broth and delicious noodles. Came here for lunch on a weekend. The place was fairly spacious the staff was efficient. Ordered the noodles with the spicy fish broth and it was so good. The richness of the broth with a good level of spice was perfect. Noodles were the right texture and there was plenty of fish and veggies in there. Definitely will be coming back.

We got a lot of little appetizers to share: Sesame balls, taro & sweet potato balls, seafood tofu skin, cold mixed tofu skin, and the cold mixed lotus root slices. I got the One-Pot Rice Noodles, sliced beef rice noodles in bone broth. The soup was very flavorful and light, but everything tasted very clean.

I've been here three times now and haven't been disappointed. The original cross bridge noodles were delicious. The broth flavorful enough where I finished it all. Food comes out quickly though service is a little slow at times to order and to get the check when it gets busier, but when catching up with friends it's not too noticeable. This spot took over Meet Fresh so it is a little smaller on the inside but the tables aren't crowded and it's clean inside.

I'm pretty impressed! I was able to see the menu by scanning a QR code with my phone. The noodles were super flavorful & not watery!!! I got the tomato beef rice noodle which was delicious and my boyfriend got the szechuan peppercorn beef rice noodle. Although both are fantastic, as a fan of numbing spice, I actually liked his more so i'll probably order that one next time. There's also an ample amount of meat in the dishes. Service was pretty fast & they were attentive about refilling water/napkins.

Overall food was tasty/appetizing but the rice noodle with beef flank did not look like the photos - much less veggies/garnish...

The general chicken is perfectly breaded, deliciously flavored, slight bite and an uncious taste making you want more. The Malaysian fun chow has wok fried wide rice noodles with a hint of char, shrimp, bean sprouts, onions, veggies and a light but savory taste. Another home run! A Mesa Asian District Gem Worth Seeking Out…read more Asian Cafe Express is a lovely strip mall gem near H-Mart in Mesa's Asian District, and after 21 years in business, it clearly has a loyal following for good reason. We brought in a fresh lobster from H-Mart to try their "bring your own seafood" cooking option and chose the garlic onion stir fry preparation. It's $14.99 for anything under 2 lbs and $7.50/lbs for anything over. It came out excellent, served over crispy egg noodles with classic Asian flavors and plenty of wok-fired goodness. We also enjoyed the Peking pork ribs, which were deboned, tasty, and slightly sweet; the stir-fried green beans, which were fresh and well prepared; and the garlic spicy chicken wings, which were especially flavorful and highly recommended. The red bean drinks were traditional and satisfying, with soft, nicely soaked mung beans and no milk. Service was friendly, efficient, and personal, handled by a couple of ladies who clearly know the restaurant and their customers well. While we were there, plenty of regulars came in for takeout and several tables were happily dining in. Overall, we really enjoyed Asian Cafe Express and were surprised we had not stopped in sooner. Highly recommend, especially for the "bring your own seafood" cooking option and the garlic spicy wings. We will definitely be back.

The spicy is mild overall with a light chili spice on initial bite. It fades, so the dipping sauce was nice to have with it. The Xiao Long Bao were the winners of thee meal and would be why I go back. Easy to eat and tasty. I only wish the soup inside was a bit hotter. The Chicken Sheng Jian Bao was good, but the breading a little thicker than I personally like. This felt more like a dessert with the sesame bottom. Good taste, just heavy. Felt like we were rushed a bit and we're asked several times if we were done. There were empty tables, so that knocked it from the higher 3.5 side to the lower. Yelp is a flat star rating.
