Food was flavorful but it was way overpriced. $28 for a small serving of noodles and 6 shrimp. Would not visit again.

It was our first time there the ambience was very nice, staff were nice. We ordered the egg rolls which were very good, the broth came 10 mins later however our main course Saigon fried rice and fire cracker shrimp garlic noodles came close to an hour later, the waiter came up to us an apologize that the other customers got served before ( they came in much later then us and was a party of 6 ) he said our ticket got pushed back. We were a little upset b/c we had to be somewhere, which we were late for. But we were patient and still left a great tip b/c that's the type of people we are. I would've left a five star review but seeing how the manager didn't come over to apologize to us or even give us a discount off our bill I left a 3 star review. read more

Super nice staff, excellent food, delicious cocktails. Sometimes the lunch service is a little slow, so be aware if you are in a rush to get back to the office. They do have several menu items they can prepare vegan. I have had the banh mi, vermicelli, and ribs and all were delicious. The spicy Saigon ribs were my favorite. The ambience is also good. I highly recommend the SK Lounge for a more romantic/classy appeal. The lounge has live piano on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

We went there for dinner on a friends recommendation . The service would get five stars our waiter was great. Everything was over priced please check out their menu before you go. We had the sweet pork spring rolls and no one liked them. The rice paper was like chewing rubber. We took a couple bites and left them. The waiter saw we didn't eat them and kindly comped us. The Saigon garlic noodles with filet mignon was the best dish by far. The sweet pork fried rice I don't recommend. Not much flavor and the rice tasted steamed not fried. I think I walked in right before there dinner rush, as there were only maybe three tables seated. I was greeted almost immediately and the server provided me with a detailed recommendation of the menu. I ordered the shaken beef which was so tender and delicious. I do think the beef could have been cooked a little bit less but I can not complain. It was also served with a bed of rice, soup, and salad. I was so impressed with the precautions being taken by this restaurant. Patrons sanitize their hands on entry. All servers were wearing masks. We had just left a restaurant that I really wanted to try, simply because the man who greeted us was not wearing a mask. But onto the food. Saigon kitchen has never failed to please us and this was another example of that. Usually, we order pho. This time I ordered the sizzling salmon which came with broth, salad, and jasmine rice. If you have a big appetite, the portion was sufficient. If you have a smaller appetite, you can take some home. It was phenomenal. My partner had a noodle dish with chicken which was very very yummy. We've been coming here for years but ever since post Covid the quality and taste has gone down drastically. We stopped going for about 6 months but thought we'd give it a try but sad to say it's even worse. We got our usual appetizers which has changed. The calamari used to small but are now larger and long strips that look like mozzarella sticks. It was decent but the original ones were better. The Salt & Pepper shrimp were blandish. I got the Pho Dax Biet (Special) and had to return it because the broth was cloudy. The server tried to explain that the broth gets that way when veggies are added and beef broth is different from the chicken broth which is more clear. This isn't true because I helped my mom make authentic beef pho for many years and broth was never cloudy. Cloudiness is an indicator of "dirty broth" meaning it was skimmed properly when boiling bones or strained properly. The broth lacked all the traditional flavors and fragrance which comes from spices (cinnamon, anise, cloves, etc). This makes me think broth was not made from scratch. Many restaurants use short cuts by using Pho Bullion cubes from supermarket. There's a huge difference in the taste which I can tell immediately. It may taste fine to the average person but if you're Asian specifically Vietnamese, you would know that it's not authentic. As for the rest of the menu, they basically use the exact same ingredients but give it a different name and cook it slightly different. So if you're looking for "authentic Vietnamese", Saigon Kitchen is far from it. There is another place a few miles down the road that is more authentic. The one great thing that is consistent is the excellent service! Almost everyone there is genuinely nice! read more

I got two and at first I thought this is a bit pricey, but upon eating them I realized they were a lot larger than anticipated and super fresh, exceeding my expectations and definitely making it more than worth the price. Atmosphere was ok. Staff was friendly but a bit slow. I chose Saigon kitchen after seeing the yelp reviews. My wife and I had our dinner here after a long drive and for me enjoying an awesome PHO is a simple reward. I couldn't speak for the other food in the menu and the 1 star is for the worst PHO I've ever had. If SK can't make an authentic Vietnamese PHO then I suggest just to take it out of the menu. The first time we carried out from Saigon Kitchen it was fabulous. The next time it was less so. We waited a while (Covid) and tried again last night. The shaken beef was pretty good but the Calamari was HORRIBLE. Big, thick chewy strips of old squid, not the tender rings and tentacles I'm used to. I called and complained the next day and the manager said, well that's the way we serve it. You probably just waited too long to eat it. (I didn't). Plus for an appetizer this bad, the cost was $13. The cost for the shaken beef was $23, which might be fair because it's tenderloin. But in general, it's a no-thank-you for me. read more

Ordered two different kinds of fried rice. The rice was old and dry and all broken up. I used my broth soup to reconstitute the rice but still after two bites I could not eat it. It tasted rancid. My guest was relieved, because he was forcing himself to eat as to not offend me. I did take the dishes home... maybe for the dogs... but on further examining it at home the chicken in the fried rice was indeed spoiled smelled awful tasted awful and dogs were not getting this food. From the 3 bits we did take we both got sick and got Montezuma's revenge. I put a 0 with a slash through the bill wrote awful and initialed it. Fought the bill through my credit card... no apology from the restaurant. $47 of rotten food. I will say tho that other plates around us looked fresh and had good presentation. Ours did not!! We originally were going to go to Pei Wei but they had closed because their hot water wasn't working. We went here as an alternative & am so glad we did. It was amazing. We had the Asian wings for an appetizer. Great! I ordered the Filet Mignon Shaken Beef that came with egg drop soup and salad. My husband ordered the Surf and turf fried rice. It came with egg drop soup. Everything was cooked to perfection. My meat was so tender. We ate on the patio and the service was good. Everything was exactly as it should be. The only down side is it is rather expensive. Comparable to PF Chang's in price and that wasn't what our budget was originally. However, I'd highly recommend this establishment. read more

Our first trip but definitely not our last! My husband & I picked this destination after watching the food review show Check Please on PBS. We were not disappointed! We started with an icy Suprise Sangria which was exactly what we needed after a long week. Then ordered the Filet mignon shaken beef served with a fresh green salad with a tasty vinaigrette dressing. Dessert was bananas foster with salted caramel ice cream which we split. Fabulous! Dennis, the owner, was on site and we told him how comfortable and inviting his restaurant is. The hostesses, waiters, and staff were professional and very courteous. We were treated wonderfully from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out. Very clean, Americanized Vietnamese restaurant. Being Vietnamese myself, this restaurant definitely caters to a different crowd. Their food was amazing, but much more expensive than an authentic restaurant. I know the owners and cooks were all Vietnamese because I saw them walking around. But when I say they cater to a different crowd, it's obvious. My boyfriend and I ordered a banh mi sandwich and a vermicelli bowl to share. Both were delicious but smaller portioned than what I would have expected. Not saying I wouldn't come back, food was great. It would not be my top choices because it wasn't authentic enough for me at their price points. read more
