Great Vietnamese food! While visiting my sister for her birthday weekend, my other sis, son and I went out looking for take-out and came across this spot. It was a short twenty minute drive and the staff is very nice. They have a huge laminated menu on the counter as well as paper menus to keep. We ordered a couple Vietnamese coffees with condensed milk and my son had a Green Apple Bubble Tea. We enjoyed while we waited for our food order. Everything came out within fifteen minutes and was packaged up very neatly with separate containers for condiments like sriracha, chili paste and fish sauce. The Food: Angle Hair Noodles: I had the BBQ Shrimp and it was great. They packed up some Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños and lettuce for wraps. My son and sisters had the combos with shrimp, pork, chicken and beef skewers as well as Spring Rolls. Everything was fresh and large portions, enough for two meals each. Appetizers: Spring Rolls: pleasantly surprised that they're made with chicken when most places use pork. Crispy and tasty. Fried Shrimp: butterflied and fried to perfection. Served with a sweet chili sauce. Fried Squid: bite-sized pieces of fried seasoned squid that are juicy and tender. Summer Rolls: fresh and similar to others I've had. Served with a creamy peanut sauce. We all loved the food and ended up with empty containers once the rest of the crew came by to share the feast. This was our go to Pho spot....until tonight. Table next to us- guy orders the same soup as my wife after we ordered. He gets his soup first, which is fine. I guess he wanted to wait for the rest of his family to eat, during this time I guess the manager realized that his soup was supposed to come to us, so they take the bowl that this other customer has been talking over for 5 minutes and try to give it to us- clearly we asked that they remake ours...they definitely brought the same bowl of soup back out 5 seconds later to us. We didn't touch it and still paid for it. Disappointing because they have a lot of good food, but that is just disgusting health practices that can't be overlooked. read more

We've had both takeout and dine In of pho. I usually get the summer rolls. The peanut sauce for the summer rolls is really good as it is thick and rich. The summer rolls are well rolled with three small shrimp nestled in fresh lettuce. The meat in the pho is usually on the leaner side with the broth relatively clear and not filmy. There is usually enough soup in the takeout where you can refrigerate half, skim the fat, add some white rice, and microwave for lunch the next day. Overall good tasting food value priced. read more

We could not get through to our regular TAKE OUT restaurant that we usually frequent in the CROFTON area; so we decided to go to the one we use to frequent SAIGON NOODLE in CROFTON, MD. We ordered the PHO A2 (x2), PHO A8 (x2), Crispy Crunch CALAMARI #94 (x2), Combination SPICY CLAY POT, 3 BUBBLE TEAS (2-TARO, 1 HONEY DEW) , & 2 ICED COFFEES (1-REGULAR, 1-COCONUT). ALL 4 PHO were SUPERB-with plenty of FLAVOR & MEAT (Great Surprise); CALAMARI (both orders) were CRUNCHY, FRESH, & DELICIOUS; and the combination SPICY CLAY POT was out of this world to perfection (with plenty to eat--a definite must try !!!) The BUBBLE TEAS were very enjoyable and definitely fulfill our sweet tooth!!! (Ordered 1 TARO without the BUBBLE in the bottom). After a week of being sick as a dog, I finally decided to venture out for some "good for the soul" food. I remember that an acquaintance of mine, who happens to be from Vietnam, told me how her family always eats pho when they aren't feeling well. She described it as their version of the American Classic, chicken noodle soup. I figured I should try it in the hopes of feeling somewhat better. Couldn't hurt. I literally almost got a cavity from the employees that work here because they were sooooo sweet! The gentleman that assisted me was smiling and joking with me and was completely accommodating. He was truly a welcoming face to my sick and weary presence. The fact that he had some gangsta tattoos on his arms really impressed me. Only because I wasn't expecting him to have any....he didn't seem the type. Cheap thrills, what can I say? Lol. The restaurant was clean and you could either dine inside or carry your food out. Be warned that if you intend to carry-out your pho, it cost a few bucks extra. I noticed they carry seafood pho and decided that was the one I wanted. I opted out of getting all the seafood listed and only got the shrimp. In addition, I ordered the crispy spring rolls. Since this was a carry-out order, the staff packaged my pho up perfectly. The broth in one container, the sprouts, limes, jalapeños in another container and the noodles and other veggies in another container. Genius! I got home and mixed all the ingredients in the bowl and tasted an extremely flavorful and hearty broth that seemed to clear my nasal passages instantly. Granted, after I finished eating, I was still congested, but for an instant moment I felt somewhat better. This pho just seemed to comfort me. The spring rolls were rather tasty, but I've had better. A lovely family owned business that has made me a believer in the powers of pho! Keep in mind I'm still sick, but any relief is welcomed. I'll be back even after I'm completely better. read more

This is the literal definition of a Hidden Gem. It's just in front of a bowling alley, in a strip mall. The decor is colorful and beautiful, and I'm always greeted right away when I come in. Usually, you seat yourself when you come here. I've never ordered anything to drink but water, but my husband has. The sodas are priced per can, so keep that in mind. The summer rolls are delicious, and I love the peanut sauce that comes with them. The pho. That's what we're here to talk about. Flavorful broth, fresh, never soggy noodles, and the meat is exactly as done as it should be. This place is a hit for me! Service is quick, and everything always comes out right. I'm a bit of a regular now, so I can speak with confidence on the quality of the food and service. Just a testament. My mom and sister had never had pho in their LIVES. THIS IS WHERE I TOOK THEM. Stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered shrimp summer rolls and a small beef pho. The summer rolls were mediocre and needed an additional vegetable or ingredient for some crunch. The lettuce and shrimp was kind of just soft and mushy, the sauce wasn't that tasty either. The pho was a solid 3 star, ingredients tasted fresh and broth was flavorful- thought almost on the salty side. For a quick lunch on a rainy day the food was good, if looking for quick pho again I'd return for a visit. read more

I have been here a few times, my boyfriend has been many times. I liked the pho, it definitely hits the spot when you've been craving it for a while, but I have had better. The star of this restaurant is in their clay pot dishes. It's delicious and the rice at the bottom is so very crispy. I came with the intention to get Pho but after listening to people order next to me, I ended up ordering the combination Singapore noodles with shrimp, chicken and beef. The place was half full when I arrived but I was told that I could sit where I'd like. I chose my seat and the waitress bought me water and the menu. I ordered my dish and a coke and waited for about 15 minutes for my food. The dish was just ok. I've had much better. It didn't have any vegetables although I only asked for no onions. I was expecting carrots and snow peas at least. It was also served with peanuts. I've never had peanuts with that dish. There were three shrimp, two pieces of beef and a few pieces of chicken. I was hungry so I didn't make a fuss. My noodles and a coke came to a little over $15. I would probably give them another chance so that I could try something else.
