I love the food here and the staff, they always get my meal out super fast. Not only is the food enjoyable but the space is as well. I always get extra of the carrots I love the vinaigrette they use and ofc I had to get pot stickers because of their lunch special.

I really enjoyed this spot. Recommended by a friend, I took my daughter today for lunch. We both got the V33. Sliced beef Pho. I got spring rolls and she got egg rolls. The broth was EXCELLENT! The service was great, and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious! Had the curry chicken soup, chicken wings, spring rolls. Curry was perfect, chicken wings were crispy, and the shrimp spring rolls were fire. Everything was super fresh. I'll be back!

    Chicken curry soup worth gettingp

Great experience, delicious food. 3rd time here at Saigon Had the curry chicken soup v49. Broth was mild but when you add the side veggies had mild taste with a spicy kick (aftertaste ) from the peppers were added. Definitely a 2-3 meal for your left overs. Worth coming back for. Service was fine, quick, efficient and courteous. I would recommend coming back As my wife said during our meal, if we ate more good food like this we would not be so fat!

I've already been twice!!! The ambiance is amazing and the food is even better. Little Rock was in need of a place like this! Better food and better prices. Everything we tried tasted really good. My only minor issue is the food does take a long time to come out. It might be because they're new so maybe it'll get better but I usually like to order as quickly as I can altogether. Overall the service is nice too and our waitress has always been really friendly and kind (it was the same one twice). I can't wait to be back and I highly recommend this place!

A new favorite to add to my list. Came here for dinner and got the Banh Bao, spring rolls, and chicken skewers. 10/10. I was not a fan of spring rolls...until i tried them here!!! We got the chicken and pork bbq banh bao and both were delicious. Our server was so kind and helpful. The restaurant is very cute and cozy. I will have to come back and try the pho next time

The flavors are rich, everything is seasoned with care, and clearly made by folks who love what they do. You can actually taste the intention in the food. I've tasted the chick'n spaghetti, cauliflower wings, and vegan shrimp. Each time, I'm licking the plate lol The vegan shrimp is my absolute favorite! The Mac & cheese, yams, and greens are all delicious too so sometimes it's hard to choose. Just know you gotta top it off with the spirulina drink. But it's not just about the food (though the food is bomb.com). The customer service is top tier and the whole damn place is just a vibe--from the energy when you walk in, to the little free library shelf tucked right next to the counter like an altar for knowledge and community care. I always leave here in a good mood. That right there tells you everything you need to know! This isn't just a restaurant, it's a staple in the community and I'm glad this business exists. Kudos to the H.O.M.E. for creating a place that feeds you on every level--body, mind & spirit. I'm already plotting my next visit.

New Orleans Approved!…read more As New Orleanians and self-proclaimed foodies, my wife and I have pretty discerning palates when it comes to seafood. While visiting Little Rock, the technician who was doing my wife's pedicure recommended her brother's restaurant, The Oyster Bar. We already had reservations elsewhere, but after looking at The Oyster Bar's menu, we canceled our original plans--and we're glad we did. Food (10/10) Hush Puppies (10/10): Quite possibly the best hush puppies I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, with jalapeños that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor. Crab Claws (10/10): Outstanding. They reminded me of a favorite dish from Copeland's back home in New Orleans--hot, buttery, flavorful and served in a generous portion. Seafood Combo (10/10): Fried Oysters (10/10): Perfectly fried with a crisp exterior and a creamy interior. Well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Cheese Grits (9/10): Rich, creamy and cheesy. We paired them with the shrimp scampi and essentially created our own version of shrimp and grits. Shrimp Scampi (8/10): The shrimp were plump, juicy and cooked well, though I would've enjoyed a bit more seasoning. Crab Cake (10/10): The standout of the meal. This crab cake was towering, packed with what seemed like 99% crab meat and full of flavor. The seafood combo is a great value. Chocolate Cheesecake (9/10): Smooth, creamy and chocolatey. Cheesecake isn't usually our first dessert choice, but we're chocolate lovers, and this one definitely delivered. Piña Colada Mocktail (9/10): Sweet, smooth, refreshing and loaded with pineapple flavor. Exactly what I look for in a tropical mocktail. Service (9/10) Our server, Tallon, was friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable. She was efficient, checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It's always refreshing to have a server who doesn't disappear after the food arrives. Ambiance (8/10) The atmosphere is casual, bright and airy with a comfortable noise level that makes conversation easy. If a couple from New Orleans--where great seafood is practically a birthright--can enthusiastically recommend The Oyster Bar, that's saying something. We'd happily return the next time we're in Little Rock.

The fried okra appeared to be whole baby okra. I have never had it prepared that way and found it to be very pleasing to the palate. The mustard greens were equally delicious. The service was slightly disappointing, which led to a four star rather than five star rating from me. The restroom is on one corner of the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were seated in the farthest corner from that restroom. It's a fairly large building with multiple rooms. Going forward, I will ask to be seated closer to the restroom. My mother has dementia and the distance to the restroom made things a little difficult for us. It might be also be difficult with small children.

The restaurant is decorated tastefully in a quaint New Orleans style, and the atmosphere is dress casual and calm, perfect for nice, quiet get together. The restaurant is not designed for a high volume of people, so reservations are best because they stay busy. As I mentioned, Mike's Place is New Orleans themed, and the menu reflects this style, but there are many delicious options. My wife and I made 6:00 pm reservations for our 41st wedding anniversary. We arrived around 5:45 pm but we were seated before 6:00. Our server, Dallas, was very friendly and attentive and took care of all our dining needs. We first ordered the Coconut Shrimp appetizer. This arrived quickly and was hot and well prepared. The Coconut Shrimp comes with a delicious dipping sauce. For our entrees, my wife ordered the Atlantic Salmon with fried okra and baked potato, all of which was served hot and well prepared. My wife has dairy allergies and she requested a butter substitute for the baked potato, and Dallas was able to provide margarine instead of butter. I ordered the Commodore's Platter, which comes with Lobster Tail, Dungeness Crab Claws, White Fish and Shrimp with salad and one side. You can get the seafood prepared grilled, blackened or fried. Even though a "platter" sounds like a lot of food, it was filling but not too much. This was another excellent experience at Mike's Place, and we'll definitely be back!

While the atmosphere was less than lively at 2 PM on a Wednesday, I could see this would be a great evening spot out with your friends. We kicked off with the potato wedges and OMG they were so good and the dipping sauces were so unusual, it was the perfect appetizer as we sat down starving. I had the.Peace Out bowl with grilled chicken and loved all the textures. Could've done without the pickled carrots in the bowl, that was a weird addition. Maybe would've been better as aside. The birria is my go-too every where I go, tortilla, cheese, meat ratio was great, I'd even say they were very generous with meat, which I appreciated (and that's rare). The consommé was lacking, which unfortunately can make or break this dish. I perceived it was watered down to go further? Not sure, but the meat barely had the flavor as well, so not sure if this was an isolated batch issue, or just the original recipe. I could absolutely tell, the base flavor would have been good, it just reallllly needed to be more concentrated. Meat was cooked perfectly though. Rice was on point too, as a side... (and a lot of places screw up rice). I love this brand, and frequent their other establishment, so had high hopes. Recommendation for kids menu... the butter noodles... coming from a mom of several, add salt and parsley to it. Gives it a little ZIP! You had potato wedges on menu as well, maybe offer it "plain" for kids, with ketchup. I do realize it's a taco place, but parents look at kid menus before coming. When all else fails for kids, "French fries" usually work. Oh!! We sat on patio, could smell the dumpsters, if you could move them, that would be a great change. Especially in the summer heat.
