Very nice friendly little place. The owner suggested the grilled lemongrass pork chop because he eats it for lunch all the time. So you know it had to be good. The crab rangoon didn't seem to have a lot of crab in it and was just ok. The first time I was there I had one of the Pho's and shrimp spring rolls. They we're both very good. I found it expensive for what it was. I had the Pho. The usual condiments were almost nonexistent. I got a small number of bean threads, a slice of lime, and ONE Basil leaf. My friend got three and gave me one. When I was in Vietnam you got a large bowl full of bean threads, lots of basil and slices of jalapeño, lime, slices of green onion and cilantro. When you go to Tank Noodle, Hoi Ahn and other Vietnamese restaurants on Argyle Street, you don't get quite as much in Vietnam but ten times more than here. Unfortunately there are few Vietnamese in our area so authentic are just aren't here. It's too bad people in our area haven't really discovered Vietnamese food otherwise there might be more in our area. Yayy! I love this place! It brought back great memories of eating Pho all over the west coast! We split the shrimp spring rolls and the noodles were a LITTLE dry, but I could barely complain. My Vietnamese Iced Coffee was a perfect Saturday morning pick me up. The beef pho was very good and the homemade meatball inside was the best part of it. It's rainy day so I decide to try their pho today, I asked for beef but I think they gave me chicken ? And some meatballs that are cut in half. I was expecting thin slices of beef but I'm pretty sure they gave me chicken by mistake since it's a Togo order I'm not gonna drive back so I didn't bother to put the meat in my soup. Not a fan of the meatballs neither. The soup taste decent, a little on the bland side but not bad. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants actual authentic Vietnamese food in the Chicago suburbs (this is coming from an actual viet person who was raised in the suburbs of Chicago as well as norcal). I absolutely love the owner and he ALWAYS tries to give me free boba (which I always pay him back since running a small business is extremely tough). I always get their pho and milktea (their milk tea has a strong tea flavor which I love). I won't sugarcoat that it is pricey, BUT don't forget that you're getting something from the suburbs, that you're getting something made fresh, and you're supporting a small business owner. Hands down the best Bahn Mi I have ever had. We drive pretty far to go but it is 100% worth it. My husband got their Pho (Also amazing). It's a small place but good for a small group. We ordered the seafood and vegetable Pho and what we received was nothing close to what it looked like on the menu. We basically paid a lot of money for a bowl of broth and some seafood items. I called the waiter over to ask about the missing mushrooms and the broccoli and he tried making an excuse as to the reason why he gave us extra bean sprouts on the side, which I thought was a pathetic excuse to not put the vegetables that the menu clearly listed, plus, it contained imitation crab. The pho their is of very high quality. The pho tai that I got was the best one there. The meat was tender and flavorful, the broth was also full of flavor, and I kicked the spice up with siracha that is provided at the table. The place is well kept and clean. They provide you with everything at the table: hoisin sauce, siracha, napkins, utensils, and chopsticks. The boba smoothies are great and would definitely recommend the watermelon smoothie. The spring rolls are also a great appetizer before the meal. The main entrees and bahn mi sandwiches are above average. Not the greatest food ever but definitely worth a try. We are pho snobs haven eaten pho all across the US, Canada and abroad. This beef noodle soup came out piping hot and layered with nice thin slices of raw meat that cooks from the heat of the broth. Yum. The spring rolls were very tasty, tightly rolled and the peanut sauce was not watered down or overly sweet. Seafood chow fun came out steaming hot! Vegetables were fresh, crunchy and the seafood was not overcooked. There wasn't a lot of flavor in this dish, bit it wasn't bad after I added some hot chili paste. Was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to eat at before attending my son's football game. Coming from Arlington Heights, we had a long ride before the game. Searched online and came across this restaurant with decent reviews so we decided to try it out. I was craving spring rolls so I ordered that for myself and my daughter ordered the shrimp balls. My order came with 4 rolls but are smaller than ones I usually order from other places. It was also pricier than what I'm used to. It appreciated that they wrapped them in saran wrap to keep them from getting hard because we decided to take it to go. The basil included inside was delicious and helped highlight the freshness of the ingredients. The dipping sauce was okay but prefer less sweetness. Another thing I appreciated was the right amt of noodles inside. It annoys me when they are stuffed with so much noodles that you can't taste the other ingredients. The shrimp balls was slightly salty but complimented the spring rolls. They were fried just enough and was bursting with flavor. Again, they were also on the smaller side. I would go back again if I'm ever in the area so I can try out their bun rieu since I've never had it but I've heard it's delicious. read more

We've been sad and blue around here since Yes Asia Cafe closed but our daughter found this one on Yelp. My wife and I came here with our granddaughter. As she's only one year old she was unable to give us her written opinion but she seemed to really enjoy the fruit at the end. We had fried dumplings which were really good, dumplings have a dumpy name but a great taste. Speaking of great taste, the soup here was superb. I also devoured my noodles and can't wait to come back for more. Add to that the fruit plate which the baby enjoyed and it all adds up to a great meal. I am a huge pho fan. When it comes to pho, I tend to be pretty damn picky. After being in class, and having our first snow of the year in Chicago, I really wanted pho.
