HUGE stain on the fold-down mirror that wasn't there when I had dropped it off for the repairs and deep-cleaning.
    Jenna K.

Honestly, I wouldn't even give them one star if I had the option. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a dealership in my entire life. Went to look at 3 cars, called them that day at 11am. One car was sold, another was mysteriously moved to another dealership, and the last one they couldn't find the keys for.. COULDN'T FIND THE KEYS. We ended up buying a used car, had a broken mirror, rust/scratch damage, broken bumper piece, and a broken gas door. There were stains all over the interior and dirt/crumbs on the seats. We traded my car in for a downpayment, didn't get much on it but that was really the only fair part of the entire interaction, as apparently the transmission was going out. Instead of fixing the car immediately, they had me drive it home, (an hour away), with 1/4 tank of gas and unchanged, unchecked oil, and then back a week later on Monday. They told us it would be completely cleaned and fixed by the following Friday, then called saying it wouldn't be done until Monday. They had given me a rental car that was also completely disgusting and had a BROKEN HEADLIGHT and 12% OIL LIFE. On Monday, when the loaner was up, they drove me down another loaner, then my car 3 hours later. Once my car was dropped off, he got into the loaner and left before I could look over my car to make sure it was finished. I walked around, and saw they had in fact NOT held up their end of the bargain, (as shown in the pictures). It was still stained, dirty, and broken; the only piece they semi-repaired was the gas door. The rust/scratches were simply painted over, not made to look nice whatsoever, looking as if I had just painted over it with black nail polish. The stains were still there, including new stains on the fold-down mirrors, (the pictures of the huge black smudges). Not to mention that there was a yellow, crusty, sticky substance in my glove compartment that had been there when they sold me the car and I had pointed out prior to dropping it off with them. They clearly has NOT cleaned the car, other than a light vacuuming of the floors, and did the bare minimum, half-repairs on the tasks we'd previously spoken about. Not to mention they sold me this busted, disgusting car for nearly $12,000 and didn't fix anything properly. Normally I wouldn't be this picky or upset about a dirty or damaged used car, it was the fact that they had stated they would fix these things and the price of the vehicle that really frustrated me. When I saw these upsetting images, I realized I could have done a better job myself than they, A LITERAL DEALERSHIP FULL OF "PROFESSIONALS", did. The price of this car absolutely does NOT cover the blatant disrespect, filth, and damage of this vehicle. Especially when someone I know just got a car 2 years newer, with fully loaded benefits, with a larger engine than mine, but the same size vehicle for LESS than what I paid for this. I wouldn't recommend this dealership or any of their employees to my worst enemy. Not to mention that the dealer and general manager I spoke to treated me as though I were making up issues and as if these were only "my preferences" rather than a general expectation that everyone has when purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. I don't know if they treated me as I were incompetent and critical because I am a young woman or if this is how they treat all of their customers, but I will NEVER go back. Their only way to "make things right" with me was giving me two free oil changes and a full tank of gas, as if that fixes the poor paint job, stains, damage, and disrespect I experienced over these past three weeks of dealing with them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you want an overpriced, damaged, filthy used car that they will not actually fix for you.

    Love my new ride!

As the owner of the company that had asked the two employees to pick up vehicles, I called the dealership and was connected to the owner, who told me he owns many dealerships and the he was one of the 3 men that were in the room with these girls and that they had not done anything wrong and proceeded to hang up on me. There was no apologies or awareness that this was NOT ok or plan for improvement. This is an awful way to run a business and I will not and would not trust this dealership. It is owned and operated by a not upstanding person.

The service drivers are very excellent and the advisor named Sharmeta was very kindly to proceed, helping me get through the rest of my service while picking up my car they will get over on you. They will overprice you and the technicians are not honest and do not keep their word they covered up their tracks just to get more money from me, I spoke with the tech manager, Brian he was the same way not a trustworthy man. They do not keep their word and they do not treat customers as well to make sure that they are fair and doing the right thing for us customers. I really advise you guys to really take my review in consideration Nathan Kieffer was such a A hole towards me the entire time of him being in my advisor he kept throwing sarcasm jabs and would talk over me without understanding me. He made me wait for two hours without telling me that I can go to another advisor in the most rudest disrespectful way, he was also not making sense at all and clearly does not know how to take notes very good and he does not know how to listen he thought he knew what he was talking about, but did not. He tried speaking on my behalf when he's clearly not a technician. He had too much to say when he's not even a technician I want to say so much more, but I am trying to move on from this chaotic place and move on graceful fully with my life. This was the most worst experience I've ever had with a dealership and I hope and pray nobody has ever or will ever go through what I went through. Thank you, but no thank you never again also they do not do refunds even if your problem is not solved or fixed. They did not fix my car. They tried to get over on me and made excuses of why my car was not fixed plus while trying to charge me 500$ more which is what I ended up paying for the problem to be fixed and solved, but no, of course not the problem was not solved and they wanted to charge me another $600 for the same issue might I add so if you are not smart, please be smarter if you're gonna deal with these kind of people to act the way that they acted and handle the situation was so disturbing it makes me wanna barf, not only barf, but I already cried. And he also hung up on me while trying to discuss and fix the matter because I'm not a problematic person at all. I communicated very well and I made sure they took the proper precautions of notes and information that was given.

I'm surprised to see many negative reviews of this dealership, but most of the reviews seem related to bait and switch and after the initial sales entry to get you in the door which I didn't reach given pursuing a different car due to my own reasons. I simply want to call out a specific person for the amazing early sales experience I had with Basil in Sales. I cannot speak to a sales experience once "in the door", but Basil was truly helpful with me considering one of their 2011 Honda Accords that looked to be in excellent condition. From early on, she answered all my questions as I was an out-of-state buyer, provided me with photos of the car before the car was ready as I asked because I was urgent on timing, and provided a video and clean photos of the car after the car was detailed for a better what to expect. Basil was very thorough and provided excellent communication and evidence of the car's condition throughout the early process. She deserves the recognition of being an excellent salesperson and made me want to work with this dealership. How the following sales experience would have been is unknown so that should be judged by other experiences. Basil is definitely someone to work with to find your car wherever she goes.

The sales process went smoothly, and we felt the trade-in was equitable. However, the true test came after the ink had dried. Our son had his heart set on a 2015 Honda Accord, which we had spotted on the same day as the Pilot purchase. Strangely, they couldn't locate the key for the Accord at the time, so we decided to return the following day. To our dismay, the car remained uninspected and uncleaned. Despite this, our son test-drove the vehicle and expressed his interest. That's when we initiated negotiations with our salesman, seeking a reasonable deal given the car's condition and the dealership's lack of preparation. Our requests were met with the standard sales theatrics - the elusive 'manager's approval' and the customary tactics to up-sell. Regrettably, the manager remained inflexible. At that moment, it became abundantly clear that our loyalty and future business meant little to them. We've had a tradition of upgrading our Honda vehicle every four years. Plus my son has become loyal to Honda through our past purchases. We also made plans to do the same for our youngest in just two years with his first Honda. That's not just one, but three guaranteed future purchases. However, it was disheartening to realize that their priority lay in squeezing every last cent from a worn-out Honda Accord with 130,000 miles on it, rather than valuing our long-term partnership. But the real shocker came when we visited the dealership to collect our forgotten floor mats and decided to accept the salesman's price because our son had set his heart on that car. I caved because it was for my son despite my insistence of not working with them again. The salesman we spoke with, with a deadpan expression, told us, 'Sorry, someone else is considering buying it, and they have dibs.' In that moment, frustration overcame all of us. My wife and I, customers who had just invested in a $50,000 vehicle, were denied because we weren't the first in line? It was undoubtedly one of the most absurd encounters I've ever had in a sales setting. From the constant attempts at up-selling, the impersonal staff, and the subpar maintenance department all culminated in an experience I would strongly advise anyone to avoid. I can confidently say that I will never engage in business with them again. Really left a bad taste in our mouth for the Honda brand

Buyer Beware -- Never Again…read more I have purchased vehicles from GILLELAND Chevrolet over the years, but this experience was extremely disappointing and revealed a serious lack of integrity. During the purchase of a new truck, I was never informed that the "new" vehicle had previously been damaged on the dealership lot and repaired through their body shop at a cost of nearly $7,500. This was not disclosed until I was already in the process of trading in my truck. This information should have been disclosed upfront during any of my three visits to the dealership while sales managers were actively pursuing the sale -- not at the last minute. I agreed to a rewind-style purchase, but after delivery I discovered additional undisclosed damage, which raised even more concerns about transparency throughout the transaction. After numerous phone calls to the sales manager -- including degrading remarks made toward me -- the rewind process was finally initiated. During that process, I also discovered that GILLELAND had already listed my trade-in truck for sale on their website even though the rewind period was still active. To make matters worse, I was charged over $1,500 for detailing and service work on my trade-in without my authorization, and those charges were deducted directly from my refund. A letter regarding this matter was sent to GILLELAND Chevrolet by the Attorney General's Office, and to my knowledge, no response has been provided. As a senior woman purchasing independently, I expected honesty, transparency, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I ultimately drove over 600 miles to a dealership in Spearfish, South Dakota, where I purchased the identical new blue EV truck. The experience there was outstanding, and I would gladly do it again.
