Such a hidden gem that I have gone to multiple times since finding it! I am NOT a coffee drinker, but I absolutely LOVE their Vanilla Latte and their seasonal Lavender Latte (both iced and alternative milk). Every single staff member is a pleasure to talk with. I've learned a lot about this place including how they make their syrups (like the lavender) themselves and even the alternative milks! I was shocked! However, it honestly makes sense because their coffee is never sweet and you can taste the freshness. I've also tried several of their empanadas and I love them. Their Mushroom & Goat Cheese is my favorite and I could eat that every day and not get tired of the flavor. "Life Happens Coffee Helps"
Stopped by for a cappuccino and came back for a matcha. Both were great. I also had a beef empanada and it was delicious. Their filling had like actual, real flavor. I didn't even put any salt or hot sauce because it was great just like that on its own. Will come back to try the rest of the empanadas.
WuzupWuzup! Lets jump right into this. Can we talk about the Saint Coco latte? This drink was pretty tasty, and the coconut cold foam was my favorite part of the drink, okay im just kidding the whole drink was really good. If you want to try something that they're known for i suggest you try this one out. I also tried the spring menu item, honey cinnamon latte with banana cold foam. The banana cold foam was light but the best part was licking the foam from the lid hahha that had alot of the banana flavoring. Nice touch of cinnamon with that nice sweetness from the honey. Worth the try since its part of their spring menu. Decent parking in the area, location is great and prices of the drink are fair. I would come back for the Saint Coco latte all day.
4-5 stars! I came here on Sunday and parking was pretty difficult. They don't have a dedicated lot and the one next to it, is paid parking/permit required or something. We parked several streets over in the residential area. However, the coffee bar was super lovely. The interior was modern and cozy. A mixture of industrial and minimalistic. A b&w color palette with pops of color-- mainly blue and white. They had the AC blasting, maybe bring an extra jacket with you haha. The menu was simple and well organized. The sdsu guy with the blue eyes mentioned the Saint Coco Latte, was a cardamom latte with a coconut foam. I believe that is what I heard. He said it had resemblance to chai and it wasn't too sweet. Despite saying no to ordering this, after some thought~ I think I would give it a try next time since it's their signature drink! I liked that they had their seasonal special menus in a colorful advertisement at the front of the ordering bar. What's nice is that they ask if you're having it for here or to go. I'm so glad they asked, I miss having drinks "for here," I actually find it quite rare nowadays at coffee shops. Anyways, I ordered the seasonal special: 12 oz Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte with Banana Cold Foam. Holyyyy!! This was a really solid combination and the flavors stood out so nicely. Sometimes 12 oz drinks can still turn out too milky for me, but Saint Coco did really well at bringing out the flavor of the espresso. I enjoyed this drink a lot. The honey cinnamon latte was delicious-- well balanced throughout. It wasn't overly sweet either and I loved the cinnamon that they used. In addition, the banana cold foam was the perfect consistency. It was not artificial in the slightest, it was very "fresh" tasting! I loved it a lot. I would rate it a 4.9/5! I would say, if the ice was more broken up, it would make drinking it much smoothly. Since it was so compacted together it made sipping the drink a little difficult to get both the latte and foam at the same time. My brother had the 12 oz Nutella Cold Brew. The Nutella profile really came through, however, the cold brew was not there. I mean, personally, I couldn't taste it and neither could he. It was reminiscent of hazelnut chocolate milk! Also, for a cold brew, I would have liked to see less ice! I really appreciate the glassware used as it can be a little slick sometimes with iced drinks... The fact that this glass had an indent 1/3 along the bottom of the glass where you can wedge your thumb underneath it-- was very nice. It had a good weight to it, so having it like this was very helpful! I noticed along the wall they had a napkin dispenser. I didn't see anywhere where they had straws though. Near the wall of the bathroom, they had the trash and recycling bin and an area for water cups if you needed one. I think, they also need a tray/container area for "for here" glasses/plates when we are finished. I felt bad for leaving it on the table since I couldn't find that to put the items into. Saint Coco Coffee Bar in North Park is a spot worth trying out! I love that they have house-made syrups that they make daily~ there's no shame in using brands like Torani, Monin, 1883, etc., but I find that nothing really beats homemade syrups. The prices are pretty fair, most under $8. They not only have espresso drinks, classics, cold brews, but they have matcha, lemonade, blended drinks, and even pastries and breakfast items!
It had me at Nutella Cold Brew lol I love my chocolate cold brews so when I saw they had a Nutella Cold Brew, I had to try it. It's premade with the Nutella mixed it. The barista said it was on the sweeter side, but that's how I like it. I think it had the perfect blend of chocolate with that cold brew kick to it. Saint coco was also delicious! I believe it's an espresso milk vanilla cardamom mix with cold foam. I saw the amazing reviews and had to come check this place out. It's very clean and has a really cute modern atmosphere. I love black, white, and grey decors with pops of green. Definitely a place I would want to come to with my laptop and get some work done.
The Saint Coco iced latte and the nutella cold brew are both so good. Great quality ingredients and coffee. I don't like things too sweet but these drinks were a treat in a good way. Service is super friendly. I enjoyed the chicken empanada as well and it's a fun place to dine and drink at.
I was excited to try their new location here in North Park. The inside was clean and aesthetically appealing! Overall, the staff was friendly and ran us through the menu. They sell coffee, empanadas, and matcha! You can see inside their coffee bar and watch as they make drinks. I ordered the strawberry matcha. Although for me, it was more on the milkier side. I think less milk would be perfect to get the matcha taste.
No exaggeration.... This might be the BEST matcha latte I've ever had and the service was there to match. The owners were the sweetest, asked just the right questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and had the cutest, cleanest interior! Coming back to try the strawberry matcha latte next! :)
Pretty standard coffee shop. Nothing crazy stood out for me here as far as drinks or ambience. Tried their special St Coco latte and it was good. Like that there is a good amount of seating indoor with 2 outdoor tables. Parking is street parking though and can be very tough. Staff was very nice.
Saint Coco Coffee Bar opened over a month ago in the North Park area. The cafe occupies the ground level of an apartment complex. There's limited street parking and was lucky to get a spot on every visit. There's outdoor and indoor seating. The interior space is not too spacious with limited seats, modern and was clean. New coffee bars seems to open up more frequently and I'm curious at first because competition is fierce, so every new place needs to offer something unique different and really good. One of the signature drinks is the Cardamom Latte w/oat milk and I had try it. The staff were helpful and nice. Also offered here are some baked goods and empanadas out sourced from a local empanada shop. I've tried the cruffin and shared it with my pup, who devoured it..lol After the first sip of the cardamom latte, it was bold yet exotically flavorful and wow!! This drink alone made an instant first impression and I'm a fan and it gets my recommendation.
New coffee shop attached to an apartment complex in NP. Unfortunately, all of the empanadas and breakfast burritos were sold out by the time I went (around 11 on a Friday), so I ordered a croissant along with my tried and true vanilla latte. There was only one barista taking orders and making drinks, so the wait time was a little longer than expected. The croissant was buttery and flaky, while the latte was just a standard latte-nothing special. I learned that the coffee shop started in Mexico and this is their first location in California. They are known for their Nutella cold brew, which I will be sure to try next time.
Loved it. I want to come back for sure. Service was good- although the cashier was still training he did a good job. Everything came out in a timely manner and the decor was so comfortable. I originally planned on going in and out but ended up sticking around inside and enjoying the cool AC away from the heat. The Ube cruffin was yummy and the de la olla latte was yummy as well. I can't wait to come back and try another drink and maybe another pastry item. Keep in mind that this general area near Texas Street has horrendous parking. So if you aren't lucky be prepared to walk a block or two.
What a pleasant treat in Northpark! I was happy to enjoy this space with my friends on a Sunday morning and thanks to their plenty of seating options we felt like we had the space to chat. I ordered the sage latte with oat milk and it was delectable. I didn't get the opportunity to try a pastry, but they looked heavenly. All the way from Tijuana, so glad we have a taste of heaven in our local neighborhood.

Finally tried this place! It's tucked a bit off the beaten path in North Park, which is probably why I missed it for so long. When we went, there was only one couple ahead of us, but it still took quite a while to get our drinks -- so I'd say service is definitely on the slower side, though the staff was friendly. We ordered a cappuccino and a matcha latte. I love that they offer lactose‑free milk -- I almost never see that at cafes, and it's usually my go‑to, so I was stoked. One thing I didn't love: the menu placement. The menus are so high up that you almost miss them entirely. It took me a long time to even notice them since I'm on the shorter side and not used to looking that high. I'd definitely recommend better placement. The matcha and cappuccino were okay. I'd probably try something else next time, especially since they have some unique signature drinks like the Saint Coco. Because I found the menu so late, I didn't see all the specialties until after ordering. The cups are super cute with fun sayings, and I loved that the paper cups include a link to their Spotify playlist -- such a fun twist. Overall, a cute spot with thoughtful details. Stopped by this spot over the weekend to check it out. We arrived around 10 a.m. on Saturday and there was already a line; wait time was about 25 minutes. The interior is simple and minimal -- one larger table with a few smaller tables throughout. Unfortunately, by the time we got inside, all of the pastries were sold out, but they still had empanadas available. We ordered the egg and bacon empanadas, a hot Saint Coco latte, and a regular latte. The empanadas were decent and filling. The Saint Coco latte, however, was a bit too sweet for my taste -- I suspect it may have worked better iced. The regular latte was fine, though I found the coffee aroma and depth a little lacking overall. Despite the weekend rush, it appeared they were understaffed; only one person was handling coffee orders, which likely contributed to the wait. That said, the staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. One thing to note: parking in this area is quite challenging, so plan accordingly. Overall, a pleasant neighborhood café with a good vibe. I'd happily come back, especially to try the pastries earlier in the day -- and to see how the menu evolves. read more

This is a great new coffee shop. They originated south of the border and decided to bring their trade up here to San Diego. I had a cortado and a locally baked bacon and eggs empanada. The cortado was very well made. It was smooth and rich with slightly creaminess and no foam. The bacon and egg empanada was a Empanada Kitchen product, so I knew it was going to be really good and it was. The breading was light with a slight crispiness and the eggs and bacon inside were tasty. The coffee shop offers a good amount of inside and outside seating. In addition to the variety of empanadas, they also offer baked goods, pastries, and breakfast burritos. The two young ladies working at the coffee shop were both very nice and offered good conversation. They are located on the bottom floor of the Abington Apartments. read more

I ordered the Saint Coco Latte. So yummy! Very clean coffee shop and friendly service. Would I come back? Absolutely! Just a heads up it could be challenging to find a parking spot. But I am glad I drove around the block a couple of times, eventually a spot will become available. read more
I have been here about 4-5 times now. Every single time the staff is super welcoming and friendly. The coffee is amazing and syrups are house made which makes it so much better. Highly recommend the Saint Coco Latte! Absolutely love this place. It does get busy but they are quick. Parking is a bit of a hassle but you'll eventually find one. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program. read more

I am blown away by the Saint Cocó latte. It's absolutely wonderful and such a unique flavor that I've never had a in a latte before, best part is that I can still taste the coffee which is rare for many coffee joints these days. The empanada selection were a nice surprise too and I am really into this delicious warm mushroom goat cheese one. The seating outside is partially shaded & was a nice touch. The service is great and so is the music & decor inside. Cant wait to be back soon! read more

This place is very cute and has a fun vibe. The drinks were also delicious. The employees were also friendly and our order was out quickly. We tried their mango and strawberry matcha and a sage lemonade. The lemonade tasted like simple lemonade, I couldn't taste much of the sage but it was still very refreshing. The strawberry matcha was so good and the mango match was different but surprisingly good. read more

DRINKS: Salted Caramel Latte 5/5 Saint Coco Latte 5/5 Love the flavors of their lattes. Drinks had the right amount of sweetness and you can actually taste the espresso. I don't like coffee shops where the ratio is off and you can't taste the coffee. Great job to the baristas! SERVICE: Friendly staff. My bf and I were there pretty early so we were in and out pretty quick. AMBIANCE: Minimalist, simple, and clean. They have a good amount of tables so you could stop by and work here. Love that they brought this TJ coffee shop to NP! I went to check out and try their st coco latte. It was so good and the guy who made my drink was so helpful and sweet, I went back 2 days later! The second time I have the strawberry matcha. It was pretty good but my fav was the latte. It's not overly spacious but has enough room for a a little coffee date or to come work as they have plug ins at the round tables. I'll definitely be coming back and brining my fellow coffee lovers. read more

Tiny hidden coffee gem off of University. The staff was so friendly and helpful - we got distracted by some work - and they actually brought us our drinks outside! I haven't seen that type of service in a long time. Coffee is excellent - it was the perfect pick-me-up to a long afternoon. Came back again since the last post and the customer service was great! The latte tastes amazing. Perfect amount of sweetness and a very unique flavor compared to other coffee shops. The cold foam is now a coconut cold foam and was AMAZING, super creamy. I'm super excited bc they have a loyalty rewards on the toast app which will make me want to come even more!!! I've had this spot saved for the longest time, and finally had a chance to try it today. The good news? My drink (the "Saint Coco") was AMAZING. Hands down one of the best coffees I've had in my life. If you love coffee and coconut, you HAVE to try it!!! The bad news? I live in North County, so it's not close enough for me to grab one every day haha :) I will definitely be stopping by any time I'm in the area though! read more

Stopped by this new coffee shop in the neighborhood but didn't expect it to be THIS good. The aesthetic is on point and I have to say, the most comfortable seating I've experienced at a coffee bar. The menu is great with plenty to choose from. Opted for the pour over of the day and the SC Latte. Before we left, we had to try the Nutella cold brew and grabbed a few to-go cans. Everything was delicious and the owners were incredibly welcoming and informative. Dog friendly which is a plus. We sat indoors but the outside seating looked just as comfortable on a San Diego morning! Will certainly be returning. read more

Was driving back from Coronado and craving some coffee so decided to check out Saint Coco based on my friend's suggestion. I wanted to get the Matcha Strawberry as they use ceremonial grade Matcha at this shop but they had run out of strawberries unfortunately. The barista recommended the Saint Coco Latte instead which is a latte with cardamom syrup and coconut cold foam. The drink was absolutely delicious. Not sweet as most drinks with syrups typically are nor did it have a strong cardamom taste. A very nice balance of coffee, cardamom and coconut, highly recommended. This cafe has come up on my social media feed and I had to check it out. It is located near apartment complexes, so street parking is a bit difficult to find. The shop itself is small and clean, with a few tables inside and a couple outside. The staff was friendly and recommended the Saint Coco latte, which I was there to try. I got it iced and it was soooo good, especially with the coconut foam on top! I am looking forward to returning to try out their other drinks as well. read more

I've seen a lot about Saint Coco on social media so when I saw that they had seasonal Valentine's Day drinks starting in February I knew I had to stop by. They had a raspberry mocha that sounded really good, but I wasn't in the mood for something super sweet so I just got an iced latte with raspberry syrup instead and it was delicious! The ratios were great and adding syrup to a latte was only 50¢. They had a good amount of seating so I hung out for about an hour and got some work done while I enjoyed my drink. I liked that that included the wifi password on the menu too; it's little things that make an experience that much more convenient. Most of the small tables were full but they had a bigger table in the middle that had open seats throughout my visit on a Monday morning. read more

Got the seasonal raspberry mocha with oat milk, It was okay. Cold foam on top was super good but the drink itself wasn't that strong and whatever chocolate was in it was clumpy and not the most pleasant. Also came out to $8.50. Overpriced for the quality and a 16 oz in my opinion and I've been to just about every coffee shop in SD. read more

Saint Coco finally opened up! This is a super cute cafe nestled in new apartment buildings on Arizona St. There is ample inviting indoor and outdoor seating for patrons to work and hang out. I stopped by on my lunch break and got an iced vanilla latte (half sweet) with oat milk. They make all syrups in house which is the best kind! The latte was smooth, sweet and delicious. Half sweet was definitely enough sweetness (from someone who loves sweet drinks). I'd look forward to trying all the other drinks too! The staff were also really nice. read more

Love this little gem of a coffee spot! I tried their signature saint coco latte and I loved that it is a more unique blend of flavors, combining coconut and cardamom. The barista recommended it iced and it was absolutely perfect. I also love that it is a dog friendly spot with a water dish outside for the pup. My only gripe is that it's in oversaturated north park, please open more locations out east! read more

Had to grab a quick coffee to go and decided to try Saint Coco since I saw it on social media. I went for the saint coco latte, which has cardamom and a coconut cold foam. I really liked this latte and if have it again. The coconut foam was smooth and lightly sweetened, not too overpowering. The cardamom came through as well, complemented well by the coconut foam. To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect from this combo, would not have through to pair them together, and was pleasantly surprised. They also had some seasonal lattes available - a maple latte and a peppermint mocha. It's mostly street parking, and a small paid parking lot to the left of it. Would love to try a different drink and perhaps a pastry! read more
