Store seems to have some good natural options for different things. Pain management, sleep, body, etc. What I did not like is that immediately when you walk it, someone is on you. Not just to introduce the brand, but really just follow you around. I hate that. Let me explore. Every time I would grab something to purchase, I'd get asked "Are you ready to check out?" Or "I can check you out!" Like geezes!! I'm still shopping around. There were a few products that I wanted to purchase, but I didn't like the approach. Are you rushing me out? Are you making sure commissions go to you? I don't know.. but I didn't like it. I'm sure I'll be back, but I'll walk in saying I don't need help, thank you! I do want to note. I used to really love this store and have been shopping here for a number of years. I recommended it to several of my friends who changed from shopping for their essential oils at other places to buying exclusively from here. However, today, I tried to exchange a brand new diffuser that I purchased a few weeks ago for a bigger one because this one had a shorter run time that I wanted. It also carries stains on its surface. The sales lady argued with me that their company basically has a no exchanges policy. This makes it challenging to shop here, not knowing if something will actually work for someone or not. It's a questionable policy to have for items that are over $100, since these diffusers are actually not very different from the stores with ones at half that price. I guess, buyer just beware. Beautiful Store in Fashion Island. They have the best quality products. I've been buying oil diffusers from them for myself, my spa, and my friends. After 6 years, all of them still work very well. The essential oils are also very good. They use natural ingredients and it concentrated, you need to use only 5-10 drops and it can make a larger space smell very nice and don't give a you a headache like other chemical products. I like the product but not the service.. The young women who helped me today was nice telling me there was a discount on 3 oils but it also felt very forced in sales. The girl behind the counter who just gave me the up down and judged me wallet when I was at the counter was a huge no go for me. This was my third time there and every other time it's been professional and the people there were genuinely happy to be working there. Well that was slightly annoying, spent some hefty dollars to get some aromatherapy headache relief in the form of a cute little zippered pouch filled with 3 aromatherapies. Upon paying for my items, the store assistant placed them into one of their bags. "Oh no" I says, "no bag for me please, I like to keep a low footprint". "Oh you might as well take it, we charge you 15 cents for it", "oh" I reply, "but I don't want it". ""No, you should take it, you paid 15 cents". "Refund me please, I don't want to buy a bag and I think I should have a choice.!" She did after some haggling, but be warned, whether you like it or not, they will make you buy a bag for 15 cents. I would not recommend shopping at this location. The manager is argumentative and condescending. Her and another female staff member were very frustrating when trying to resolve an issue with a product and treated me so unfairly in the store. Another employee and costumers even noticed how uncomfortable the situation the staff created was. It's a bummer because the company makes some nice products but after this experience they have definitely lost my business because it's clear they don't care about their costumers. read more

Do not buy a defuser here. I spent over $100 on a defuser as a gift and the power cord gets HOT after on 1 4 hour cycle. Unsafe and store refuses return it and only offers another power cord. Came here after strolling by and was overwhelmed by the 15+ diffusers going off. I immediately checked out the baby section since I have a daughter who struggles with eczema. The sales people here are eager to help and really nice. I could only handle so much scent. So after trying a few products I had to book it. Second time coming at the store was an intentional visit as my SIL informed me it was a new line of oils from Canada. Knowing that Canada has stricter rules and regulations for their beauty and goods I decided to give it another go and brave the mists of diffusers going off. I ended up buying a baby lotion to try out on my kids. So far it's been a winner. Absorbs well on my kids, really hydrates their skin, and leaves a pleasant scent. They also had something for the car and since it was 20% off I went for it. All in all, despite the overwhelming scents going off at once, their products thus far seem great. read more

Had a great experience at this Saje as I have at other Saje locations. When I got in, I walked around a little and was kindly greeted by Toni. I was looking for some new essential oils, like for energy and she recommended I go for the rollerballs. I have a few rollerballs and the ones she recommended were great and they were all new. I went for Unwind which has a nice aroma, which had a nice, subtle earthiness and she recommended two more. I also got another one, I believe I got one for energy and a yoga mat spray. Toni was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and was super friendly! What's even better is that I came on the right day! They had 20% off that day! Sweet! Plus, with my account (which is free!), I was able to get a free rollerball! Woohoo! :) Every time I come into any Saje store, it feels like I'm in a spa. So zen, relaxing, the smells are amazing and so calming, yet uplifting at the same time! Amazing! I literally want to buy everything in there but gotta take it slow, lol. I always stop in. I ALWAYS LOVE TALKING with Audrey and Alice! I swear they represent what Saje's philosophy stands on the best. Very knowledgeable and come from more of a learning conversational standpoint. Its what first pulled me into the store and wanted to learn more about the products. But I never felt pushed...until now. She was nice, think her name was Shadara. I introduced myself and she was very conversational but the biggest turn off... in which I feel I am not alone.. when someone just won't stop pushing product. I mean I have a lot of Saje products and I love them. So you don't need to make it obvious you care more about your damn numbers then about what the product really is your trying to sell. I had never felt so annoyed in this store. I didn't even stick around once that happened. My husband stumbled across this store way before I did. He's tricky like that with the holiday shopping and sent me in an opposite direction at Fashion Island that day. Once I'd unwrapped the cute little Pocket Farmacy he'd found for me, I was enthralled with the idea of visiting a whole store of the same! To be fair, if I lived next door to Saje, I'd be in SOOOOO muuuuuch trouuuuuuble! I would maybe need an abundance of these fantastic essential oils to help calm my nerves after the credit card statement arrived. But, really, aren't there so many other trivial things we can spend money on than our health?! The essential oils are all very high quality. The blends are simply divine! Peppermint Halo is one of may favorite oils ever and the lavender rarely leaves my side. The dispensers in the travel case allow for drops or roll-on application, which I also love! I've now purchased two collections - the Pocket Farmacy which I travel with all the time - and the Happiness Blend Diffuser Collection which keeps our home filled with rays of sunshine during the day and the sweetest dreams at night! This is so much better than retail therapy - I believe it's a path to optimal health! So friendly and down to earth, helped us so much with all of our questions and all of recommendations. She must have opened 15 bottles of oils for us to smell and went out of her way to find the littler holder that you're supposed to get with your purchase of oils because she thought they sold out of the size we needed and remembered someone had returned one so she went looking for it. She really went above and beyond to help us. She's very knowledgeable about the products here and was just a very kind person who really seemed to love her job. Often times you get customer service that's a little to over the top and in your face and doesn't always seem genuine but that was not what we got at all from her. She just really wanted us to leave happy and we did! We will come back here for all of our oil needs to see Theresa! The manager was extremely rude I brought in 3 units that I didn't feel was working correctly and I already had return labels but I figured I'd bring them in there cuz it was easier. She didn't care that I told her one of them was on for 4 days she was rude very dismissive and if she's the manager she should be managing a store if she treats people that way, I even told her that we were here 3 weeks ago and the store was closed she said well we had to because of covid somebody came down with it. When she treated me basically telling the guy here you want a unit you can have these units cuz I can't do anything with it now why would she need to save that in front of me, she had major attitude major and then on top of that is she tried to rip me off and not give me back my correct refund (only was giving me a refund for two of the three items)and I said to her you didn't add that correctly she goes oh yes I did and then when she realized that she didn't she never even apologized, what she said to me is you're getting back more money than you should have and I said no I said there's is also tax involved you didn't add the tax. She was supposed to refund me over $200 and tried only to give me 157 of it, and this is who you have running your company in Newport Beach shame on you! The staff took time to introduce us to the more popular items which is nice since we were new to the store and the oils/scents and benefits. I have been super happy with all of my purchases.
