I gave this place another chance about 2-3 years later. I will start by saying it's good food, pretty normal stuff for hibachi. Nothing extra, the interior is a bit plain and food wasn't amazing to grant coming again. About 3 years ago we came here a few times, it was close to home and prices were reasonable. However we took extended family here once and found roaches walking around where we would eat. So I hadn't returned here until Recently (no roaches now) . Went to have a late Sunday lunch with my husband & son this afternoon. It was terrific! Place was packed, but we got great service. We came through on a Friday night right before 8 and were seated at the Hibachi grill instantly. Inside, the restaurant was fairly packed, but a lot of the guests were just eating sushi and off the regular menu. The menu has a wide range of eating options that serve sushi, soups, and Hibachi style dining. We ended up getting the grilled lobster, fish, and filet mignon. The dish also came with a clear soup and a small side salad. It also came with grilled shrimp skewers and edamame. Soon after we placed our orders, more guest continued to sit around us and placed their orders as well. Once everyone's orders were placed, the chef came to our table and warmly greeted us and began to show his magic on the griddle. The show was quite nice, and he definitely did some amazing tricks cooking for all the guests at once. Once the food was ready to be eaten, he used his spatula to put it on each guests plate from the grill and continued to cook each and everyone's food. The fried rice was simple and full of flavor with fluffy eggs and a fire grill aroma. The lobster was buttery and grilled to perfection with a nice snap back when biting into the succulent crustacean. The fish and grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly along with the filet mignon, and all 3 melted in my mouth while I devoured my dinner. The ambiance inside was fast-paced with multiple chefs on different grills. There were flames of fire everywhere you looked, with spatulas hitting the grills. The food was priced fairly, and the service was standard. The portions were decent and were just about the right amount for each set meal. This was one of the worst eating experiences I've ever had. The room is unbearably hot, the chiefs were screaming the entire time, I sat waiting for the meal to start for 45-50 minutes, so I was livid before the meal even started. Then I had a front row seat to my salmonella stew being "cooked". Raw chicken touching every piece of food, vegetable and meat alike. The teriyaki sauce tastes liked dirty dishwater, the portions were just 3 pieces of fat, and the vegetables were undercooked. Avoid the food poisoning and eat somewhere else. read more

I've had these guys twice now and they're good eats. The restaurant needs a little TLC. Lights are out in spots, the fountain in the lobby is bone dry, clearly they don't turn on the AC, and if you walk around the restaurant you can see storm damage from years past. But take all that away and the staff is very friendly, the food is awesome, the ambience is still there. I've had the scallops, steak, shrimp, and salmon hibachi now and all are mouth watering. The yum-yum sauce is both savory and sweet, and I believe the other dip is a steak sauce with tamarin in it. Both are great with red meat or poultry. I've also tried rainbow, scallop, and spider crab rolls. Rainbow and scallop rolls were winners, I was disappointed with the spider crab. Portions were smaller, and it wasn't nori style. Portions for hibachi are MASSIVE. I've got unusually high metabolism and this last round I licked my plate clean, but I'm the only one who did. I had scallops, salmon, veggies, shrimp, fried rice, miso, salad, rainbow roll, and hot sake. Last time I did that I went home with most of my meal. My rando table took nearly everything with them. Good for kids who like bursts of fire, good for big groups. I've gone by myself, and I've gone with a party of six; either works. More gratuity is expected with 6+ guests. Parking has no shaded spots, and I don't know about Wi-Fi. They have an absurdly cheap lunch special during the week: $17 steak hibachi lunch! I wish I was working in Mansfield rn so I can try this. If you're on the fence between these guys and say Benihana's, you could do a lot worse. read more

Sake hibachi it's right up the street from my work so we love coming here for lunch. If we're in a hurry, we sit on the sushi side and are able to get in and out really quickly. If we are celebrating something or have a little more time, we enjoy the hibachi side. The food is always consistently good and they have a very large menu of both hibachi items and sushi rolls. Staff is always very sweet and helpful and take great care of us. Just keep in mind if you're going to go to the hibachi side, it is going to take a little bit longer than your typical meal so make sure you have time to enjoy it. read more

I love myself a good hibachi! Normally, I got close from my house, my friend said you have to try this one that we found so I went over to Mansfield try out Sake. It was an amazing experience. That steak and scallops. And of course the fried rice because what would a hibachi be without fried rice. Chef was very amusing, and did all the cute tricks, like the onion volcano and breaking an egg over the spatula. But what was more exciting was how tasty all the food was, also their beverages, they were awesome. We will definitely be going back. read more

Peter, our chef, was terrific, we enjoyed the show, he was very friendly, and the portions were large. I ordered the shrimp & scallops dinner plate with fried rice, and it was delicious!
