    Hair in sushi

I really hate to leave this kind of feedback because I've been to this location many times and have always loved both the service and the sushi. Unfortunately, during my visit today, I found an eyelash in my sushi, which was very upsetting. After noticing this, I looked into the kitchen and saw one of the workers with long hair who was not wearing a bonnet or gloves. I understand that mistakes can happen, but finding hair in my food and then noticing what appeared to be a lack of proper food-handling precautions made me uncomfortable. I wanted to share this because I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and hope this can be addressed moving forward.

Mansfield does have a great sushi restaurant in Akarii Revolving Sushi. Great atmosphere, it's fun finding your favorite rolls on the revolving belt or ordering on the electronic menu. Staff is great and prices are very reasonable. My favorite is the Miso Ramen, really something to try.

Been here a few times, it has a good amount if variety. Was sad to see they were sold out of egg tarts again, but hopefully next time! Went here on a Friday for lunch, I was surprised that for lunchtime not much was in the belt. When you think about though, that's fine because I wouldn't want something that's been sitting there for awhile The good thing is you have the ability to order directly from the iPad at your table. My favorites are the seared salmon & seared scallops. Try the crunchy roll! The shumai was a little small & was okay. The fruit is always great! Staff was attentive & the restaurant is always clean. They weren't really busy, check them out & give them a try if you haven't done so.

I brought my 5-yr old daughter here after school one day and we had the BEST time.

I took my daughter out after school and we had the BEST time! The pictures of the food and small portion make it great for kids. She and I both liked the food, but the experience was definitely the best part. The servers don't have a lot to do with the meal because of the conveyer system, but ours checked on us frequently to be sure we didn't need anything.

Me and my fiance have been here before to eat and we enjoyed it for the experience but the food wasn't the best. We decided to come back last week for a date night and the experience was worse than before. There was never enough rolls out or a huge variety coming around and that takes away part of the fun having to actually order stuff. The rolls we did order were the best, we spent $90 dollars for 2 of us and the food was nothing special. Heb quality sushi. If ur having a sushi craving it'll knock it but don't come here for amazing sushi. We both agreed we'd much rather go eat at saki hibachi for sushi, we've tried most all of sushi places in the area and saki has the best rolls.

I honestly wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by my visit. There are two levels of conveyer belts. You can grab anything on the 1st level for $3.95 a plate. The second level is for orders you place on the iPad, which I preferred those menu items. The rolls were ok, but I enjoyed the nigiris much more. My favorite were the seared scallops! The seared salmon and beef are also honorable mentions, although the sear was inconsistent, and in some instances, the sear was very weak. I observed some dishes were hastily constructed, which I suppose is what you have to sacrifice for convenience. However, I didn't mind that much as the overall taste was still solid, and the prices were fair. I would come back again! The conveyer experience is a cool concept everyone should try at least once.

The idea is nice. The plates come in 3-4 pieces on average. The rolls were good. They are quick to replace or add more sushi to the belt.

I've always passed by Akari but never thought to try until recently. I'm so glad that I did. The inside aesthetics are nice, very clean. Once we were seated, we were told that you can use the touchscreen TV to order specific dishes or just grab what you like from the revolving conveyer belt. It's so cool to see the food we ordered zoom down and stop right in front of your table. All the food we ordered tasted great. There were so many sushi, desserts, and fruit options to choose from, and if you aren't a seafood lover, the chicken teriyaki and potstickers tasted great and well. We ordered cream sake and Sapporo to make sake bombs. Best decision. Needless to say, we ended up ubering home lol. Great first experience, I'm definitely coming back!

Wow, this place has gone downhill. Not only was the sushi less than stellar, but the service was lousy, too. We're never going back here

We went to Takara on a whim and it was the bomb diggity! Unlike other AYCE sushi restaurants that serve small portion appetizers, Takara is serving medium-large size appetizers that are much better quality than their competitors. I mean, a whole soft shell crab? Unagi Don with 4 huge eel steaks? A full 12 pieces of chicken karaage instead of a 3-4 piece serving? Who does that? Takara does that. Hamachi Kama (tuna collar) was unbelievable. The soups were great too. Oh and the takoyaki (my personal favorite) will knock your socks off. This being our first time at Takara, we were not prepared for the size and quality of the appetizers so we filled up on them before we could order much sushi. But we did order a few different nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls, and maki rolls. They were all very good but I feel like Takara's strength lies in their appetizer menu. We used to go out of our way to a different AYCE restaurant on our way home from the casinos in Oklahoma, but I think we found our new spot! The booths were large and comfortable. They have little cushions to sit on because the booths are hard wood with no padding. That was a nice touch. Our server was great but a little too apologetic. She kept apologizing even though we had no issues with the speed of service. We left a nice tip even though the robot server did a good portion of the work bringing us our orders. Like I said, we stumbled across a real gem right off of I-35 for a reasonable price and unexpected high quality of food and service. We will be back again soon!

Some of the things we ordered were the grilled shishito peppers, yellowtail fish collar, shrimp and vegetable tempura, special sashimi combo, and tempura ice cream. We had the special sashimi combo and was thoroughly impressed with the presentation and freshness of the fish. It was served with real grated wasabi which was the winner for me. The dinner ended with one of my favorite desserts, tempura ice cream. I'm so happy they have a choice between matcha and vanilla. Matcha was my go-to. Light crispy outside with rich tea ice cream in the middle. Service was perfect. The staff are all Japanese and showed genuine Japanese hospitality. They knew I had a reservation and asked if I had preference where I wanted to sit. The servers took time to explain the menu and accommodated the portion sizes because we had an odd number party.
