Enjoyed sushi here! Seated right away, I tried the gyoza, salmon avocado roll & spicy crispy tuna roll. Everything tasted great. I had a piece of the spicy salmon roll and it was also good. The best thing about here... the price! It feels like they haven't been affected by inflation whatsoever. Their basic sushi rolls are affordable & there's a lot of options! This would be a great spot to introduce someone to sushi or for picky eaters. The quality of ingredients was also good - very happy with the presentation, flavor. And the sushi rolls stuck together nicely & didn't fall apart. Made well. Service was fine and friendly. Private parking lot.
The food was amazing the service top notch the ambiance very friendly and also can be very romantic for a date I saw few students in days have not seen that in a while I had a good time
The food is amazing. I tried a variety of different rolls I've not seen before. They were delicious! Our server William was so friendly and helpful! It's not Ayce, but I ate all I could eat! My least favorite was smoked salmon nigiri. I loved the roll with apple and tempura. Delicious!! Kiddo had a Mai tai and said it was tasty and strong. He loved his food, too. The music was in the background but was a variety of hits.
Three roll lunch special: miso soup & salad, plus three rolls (6 pc each). Salad may or may not have come from a bag sold at Cub; miso soup was pretty thin, but hot and okay. Spicy Tuna roll, Boston roll and Yellowtail roll all good. This plus a Diet Coke for $20 (before tip) is a pretty decent deal for lunch. Very nice restaurant; service excellent. Recommended.
The sushi here is okay. Not the greatest quality, but better than some sushi restaurants here in the Schaumburg area. When we received our sushi, we thought it looked funny. It was lacking moisture, therefore it wasn't fresh. The tuna doesn't have the deep red color so that tells me it isn't fresh either. The cuts of the sashimi and very thick. Even though it lacked moisture, there was still some kind of negative fishy taste to it. The service was fast. It seemed like our waitress didn't want to be there. Her tone of voice was negative like as if she was mad. It a dark restaurant as you can tell from the pictures I took. I was surprised on how big it was. When you're looking from outside it looks small. It's okay for Schaumburg. This review is coming from someone who loves sushi and is very picky about the freshness of the fish. We still ate it all, but we won't be coming back.

Hidden place in a plaza. Known for their very good sushi. Came in on a Sunday and wasn't too many people an hour after opening. Service was good upon entering and being served. Started out with waters and then ordered drinks such as a ginger beer. Pricing of food was reasonable which I enjoyed. Appetizer-8/10, Yakitori had good sauce to it and meat was well cooked just could use a little more seasoning Entree- Dragon Roll 10/10, Sapporo Roll 7/10, the top was al little too much for the roll. Shrimp Pad Thai 7/10, good but could use a little more color and seasoning. Mongolian Beef 9/10, was pretty good with the side of their dry noodles and nice and veggies. Overall I would come back to eat here

Love this place! Found it a few years ago and it has the best chirashi and rolls! We love the fresh fish and variety of tasty options. Overall, the service is nice expect they do get busy on Friday nights so it can be a bit slow. However, the presentation and everything is great
Always had great experiences here, but lunch today was gnarly. I ordered a tuna avocado roll and a spider roll. The tuna was gray, slimy, and mealy, and the crab was all soggy tempura with gray mush. Definitely not fresh. Both were comped from the bill, but I can't believe they were served. I don't know what the issue was because the sushi on other tables looked great. Again never had an issue here before, but this was wild. Crab rangoon was great
Pretty decent sushi place in a prime location! We decided to eat here to celebrate my parent's anniversary. Although I had called ahead to make a reservation for the occasion, their service and willingness to congratulate my parents was severely missed. Although it seemed as if they understaffed, we couldn't help but feel like our waitress was actively avoiding us throughout the night due to her lack of presence and assistance. Regardless of the service, the ambiance was decent. My only complaint is that it was a little too dark in the room, forcing us to use our cell phone flashlights in order to read the menu. Now for the food! We had ordered the Calamari for an appetizer, Sushi Deluxe, Chicago Fire Roll, Fire Phoenix Roll, Shrimp Pad Thai for entrees, and the Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream for dessert. The Calamari was a lackluster start in desperate need of some salt. However, the entrees were definitely the star of the show. Both the speciality rolls were flavorful and presentable. The Sushi Deluxe's ratio of fish to rice was abundant and appreciated. The Shrimp Pad Thai was alright, but the main character in this show was certainly the sushi. To end off the night, we decided to try the Tempura Ice Cream since the concept intrigued us. However, our expectations fell short due to the strange texture of soggy tempura crunch and freezer burnt ice cream. Overall, I definitely appreciate the variety of choices on the menu, but I believe that Sake Sushi should stick to what they're best at.

Great ambiance and super fresh sushi! This place has lunch specials even on Saturdays! The lunch specials have a wide variety of options and price points. Signature rolls cost more, but they have more pieces as well. They serve alcohol, smoothies, or Pepsi products. Lunch specials came with soup and salad. Service was a little slow so I took off one star for that. Our rolls appeared to be ready, but staff didn't bring them to table right away. I would return if I was in the area. read more
Sake Sushi & Grill in Schaumburg is one of those spots I keep going back to, even though I don't eat sushi. I always order the salmon bento box, and it's just solid every time--good portion, the salmon's cooked right, and the sides actually feel like they're worth having on the plate. It's the kind of meal where you finish and think, "Yep, that hit the spot." The vibe is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and it never feels stressful to eat there. Nothing fancy, just good food that shows up the way you hope it will. If you're not a sushi person but still want a dependable Japanese place, this one's an easy pick. read more

Fantastic. Several of us from work went to lunch at Sake Sushi and Grill. Having never been there before, I was eager to see if this would be another place to get good sushi. They have a full menu, but also offer lunch specials that are very reasonable. I chose the three Maki Roll special - 3 rolls (you can't order from the special menu but they have a more expensive option where you can), salad, and miso soup. And, checking in with Yelp you have your choice of two other appetizers, edamame or Seaweed Salad. I chose the Seaweed Salad. That was large enough to share. First, the Seaweed Salad was excellent - crisp, vinegary sweet (but not too sweet). I think this was among the best I've had anywhere. Same thing with the Miso Soup. It was outrageous. For the Sushi Rolls, I opted for a Salmon Skin Roll, a Spider Roll, and a Yellow Tail Roll. Surprisingly, the Salmon Skin Roll had cream cheese in it, something that wasn't specified and I didn't want. They gladly took it back and brought another Spider Roll. Both rolls were fresh and delicious. For $13.95, you just can't beat it - especially for the quality. And, I realized as I was eating that three rolls are simply too much. I ended up bringing one home. This may be my new favorite for Sushi. read more

First time dinner with the family. Food was good and service was good as well. Please be patient with the food. Seems like food prep could be short staffed since it took a while for our food to come. Other than that. Food was reasonable priced. read more

This place is very clean and has a nice vibe. Menu is pretty nice with a big selection to choose from. The Sushi portions are much bigger than most places. We had the 10 piece Sushi Deluxe with Spicy aTuna Roll instead of California Roll and the Salmon Teriyaki Entree. Everything was fresh and taste great. Prices were very fair. Service was good too. Will definitely try this place again. read more

Found this little sushi place while in the area for a few days. Fresh delicious seaweed salad, perfect Miso soup and the Sushi Delicious!! I plan on adding this to my list of come back to places when in the area. Also very nice staff and friendly. read more
Great place to catch up with friends and enjoy some sake. We got the sweet potato roll, Shiitake mushroom roll, vegetable deluxe roll, Kung poa chicken, Yaki udon noodles, spicy maki combination, and small bottle of plum sake. The sushi rolls were all good. The kung poa chicken and yaki udon noodles were okay, nothing to rave about. Everyone did enjoy the sake so we will definitely be coming back with a larger group since they have a lychee sake we want to try but we thought the bottle was too big. Our waitress was excellent and provided great service. We did have an order of edamame which never got out but it's fine since we had way too much food at the table. read more
This place looks better from the inside than outside. The service was great, I forgot the waiters name but he was very kind and tentative. The food was amazing! It feels like a regular sushi spot to me but the sushi definitely tastes much fresher than other places. I've been here a couple times and it never disappoints. read more

This is your average sushi place, nothing really to make it stand out from other respected sushi houses. I would recommend going during their lunch hours as you can get 3 rolls, miso soup, and house salad all for around $12 (tip not included). Aside from our waiter pulling a disappearing act after our food was served, I would say that the more simple rolls, such as the spicy salmon, take the cake when it comes to taste. It should go without saying that the house salad dressing was amazing, but they don't finely chop their lettuce wedges and you are forced to stuff large portions into your mouth , don't recommend doing that-haha. Miso soup was good but not the best. As for the edamame, they give a lot and it's free if you check-in with Yelp, just saying. All in all, I know there are better options out there but if your down to settle for par grade sushi, this is the joint! read more

I always drove past this place and never got a chance to try it until now. I'm definitely glad I did. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. They had many options and were all reasonably priced! Will be back! read more

Been here a few days ago. Here for the second time. The first experience was okay, the second (this) time was horrible. We received an unimaginably terrible service. We ordered 3 sets of sushi, two salads, and a Pad Thai. When we are ordering, my son (5 years old) asked if he can get fried potatoes. I just asked the server/waiter (a lady with glasses) if they have fried potatoes. She laughed, making a fun, saying this is a restaurant not a fast food. I said, well that is not funny, and I know most other sushi places have something similar on the menu. She laughed again, making fun. And I said that is not funny, and her face changed. She was sooo rude and underlooking to us. Then I ordered a hot tea. And she brought us a pot of tea with two cups. I asked can we have two more cups, because we are four. She said straight no, mentioning it is a restaurant rule to have only two cups with a pot. What a stupid rule. What is a pot is consumed by four people. She said we need to order another pot. Then I asked another server passing by to get two more cups, and she said "oh yeah" and brought us two more cups. She (original server with glasses, don't know her name) saw that from the distance and came to the table with rush (burning from inside because now we got two more cups) and said to other server something in a foreign language with anger, and then they took away those two newly brought cups. Just for principles. then I asked for the manager, and apparently the second lady who gave us the cups were a manager. She had absolutely no power over her servers/waiter, saying "oh this is a restaurant rule, I am new I didn't know". Then, until we finish eating and until the bill, nobody came to us and even asked if we are doing ok and need help. And nobody even took the free dishes from out table as we finish table was full and very uncomfortable. This was my worst experience in a sushi restaurant. I wanted to leave that place as soon as possible and never going back. Stay away, there much better places in Schaumburg. read more

I must say that this place surpassed me totally! I had finally chance to try it out and I am happy I did . It was lunch time when I arrived and with their great lunch specials it can easily get busy. I had luck and very nice lady seated me right away. I immediately noticed ambient. Clean, fresh space with calming atmosphere. Simplicity. I liked it. Tina, amazing young lady, was my server. She was very informative since I was confused and helped me. She suggested I followed and Ive got one of the best rolls that I tried. Lunch was served with soup and salad. And you can choose maki, bentos.. whatever your heart desire:) Lunch is served full size and rolls are soooooo fresh! Everything they took out from the kitchen looked good. You can tell that people were satisfied and enjoyed their orders. I recommend you trying this place bc I know I will be back for shure! read more

I came here after a nail appointment and was a bit hesitant since I enjoy all you can eat but the food here was delicious. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, edamame, house salad, miso soup, and 3 of their rolls. The appetizers and rice were steaming hot while the salad and sushi were very fresh. The service was prompt and attentive and the inside was nice and clean. Overall, a very good meal and just about the same price as an all you can eat and still left pretty full. read more

Hands down my FAVORITE sushi place. Freshest, best priced sushi around with a great atmosphere. The Scallops appetizer (last picture) are amazing. Also love their ahi tuna and red snapper appetizers. If you're a crab Rangoon fan theirs is so full with crab They also have the best lunch specials . Two rolls, miso soup and salad (the dressing is amazing) for $10. Three rolls for $12. I love their eel/avo roll, spicy tuna roll, sunny roll, ... it's all good Their hot sake is a great price, too and I love their lychee martini (not pictured) read more

I'm vegan and was wondering if there are any vegan options (no seafood or fish or meat or dairy!) I Read the menu but am not as familiar with sushi?
They have a vegetarian roll section on their menu. I'm sure you can specify any other dietary restrictions when you order.
If you go during lunch, can you only order from the lunch menu or can you also order from the other menu?
