Can we just talk about VIP customer service?! Joshua who is in designer upstairs is AMAZING. He has gone above and beyond for me over the years and was never pushy. He's even talked me out of items that he knows later I wouldn't love. I truly feel appreciated by him and it's so much fun shopping with him. Corbin and Jenn in Fendi are so sweet and helpful. They make miracles happen for me when there's maybe 1 item left in my size. Safe to say I always end up with my item. Never pushy and always educating me on the Fendi history & products which I love. Only downside is their handbag Manager James B. He's very uncomfortable to be around and he's not very nice to myself or even his employees. Which is too bad... Horrible customer service! I attempted to return a jacket that stained a blouse a moment ago. It stained my clothing the second time wearing it, therefore I no longer have the tags. The CS man came back to tell me since I wore it, they would not allow me to return it. I asked him how I would have possibly known it would stain my clothes without wearing it. He then told me some items do transfer color but since I wore it they cannot re-sell it so they will not take it back. That makes no sense! I looked at the description of the jacket ( Lafayette scarlet puff jacket in case anyone cares) and nowhere does it say "color may transfer." I got a great deal on it but it stained a $300 blouse and I won't be wearing it again, The manager didn't even have the courtesy to come over to talk to me. I was also completely ignored prior to my conversation with the cs person, I believe by the manager. They never even looked at the item. Perhaps I am TOO MEXICAN TO RETURN ITEMS ? Avoid this store. What a terrible place to shop. They don't care and will never. This men's department will never say anything to you just to even acknowledge you. It's even worse as you walk 3 feet infront of 3 sales associates who as far as they are concerned can't be bothered. Me and my boyfriend both love this Saks location. This is probably the most organized and luxuriously laid out store we've been at. Immaculate, and everyone is really friendly and helpful. Been approached by several sales associates in the women's department asking if we needed any help. The lady at the Givenchy department complimented and loved my LV bag. Joshua and Jose in the Chanel departments are all top notch in helping me locate what I inquired. Even sending me pictures of the products and offering to special order things if they can find it anywhere else. read more

I don't wear a lot of make-up, but it seems Saks has become my go-to place in town when I do need a little somethin-somethin to make me feel pretty. I met my mom and Aunt Marcy at the Biltmore Fashion Park over the weekend and we ended up wandering into SFA since they had a Laura Mercier counter. Aunt Marcy is obsessed with a special tinted Laura Mercier moisturizer with SPF 20... my Cousin Megan turned her on to it. And now, my mom and I are both hooked too! Lillian at the NARS counter walked over to help us and couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable about all of the make-up lines that Saks carries. She sold us all a little something and I guarantee that the next time I'm in need of some make-up, moisturizer, etc... I'll head right over to see Lillian! read more

Saks used to be one of my favorite go-to stores, especially for make-up. This afternoon, I was the only person in the entire department. There were two salesgirls, neither of whom spoke English as their first language. After I'd requested an ivory-colored powder eye shadow for a highlighter, the woman brought over a dark brown crème YSL sample. I repeated "highlighter", and I used the phrase "light color". This time she did bring a suitable Chanel shade. Then, I asked for a shade of Lancôme Dual-Finish powder which matched my current skin tone, because I wasn't as tan as when I last purchased a Dual-Finish powder. She had the perfect color on the sample palette, but she couldn't find that particular shade in the inventory behind the counter. She pulled out her iPad and couldn't get the correct item number entered. The other salesgirl came over to help. After about 20 minutes, they decided that not only did their Saks store at the Biltmore not have it, but it wasn't available at any of the Saks stores in the entire United States. She suggested I try Macy's. I realize the supply chain has affected many things, but I find it difficult to believe that if this were an actual supply chain issue, that the Macy's next door at the Biltmore Fashion Plaza would have the product when Saks didn't. Lastly, I mentioned I was looking for a new moisturizer; something a bit more intensive than the Sisley-Paris one I was currently using. I asked if she could include one or two samples. I purchased the eye shadow, and I'll look on-line for the powder. When I got home, I realized there were no samples of any moisturizers. It will be quite a while before I go back to that Saks store and waste 45 minutes of my time. Heaven forefend if there were two customers with whom these women had to assist. I think I'd have better success with an automated AI chat feature, and I not terribly fond of automated Artificial Intelligence chat interactions, but this afternoon was really disappointing. read more

A beautifully designed building, sort of like a "miniature version of the San Francisco Nieman-Marcus". VERY NICE PEOPLE WORKING HERE!!! I was trying to find non-English speaking members of my group that had gotten lost, but everyone here went out of their way to help. Phoenix sure is a nice place to live now, even with all the traffic congestion. Easy to drive between Luke AFB and Williams AFB back in the day, but no longer a western hamburger town, that's for sure! read more

Came into Saks the other day to buy some clothes for my new job. I came into the store right after the gym so obviously I did not look my best. I walked up stairs and asked an older lady with blonde hair and bright pink lipstick for help just to be dismissed. I walked around with several items in my hand and received no help from her. I watched her help others more well dressed but not once did she offer me any help. Perhaps I am not worthy of her time since I did not look like someone she could profit off of. My review is a BIG NEGATIVE!!! They had a dress to be altered , They closed their doors for the COVID , I understand when I got the dress back five weeks late, nothing was done!!! I absolutely love shopping at Saks 5th Ave in Phoenix! Kourosh in the ladies shoe department is one of the best client service representatives I have ever had. He really takes the time to understand the client, make sure you have a shoe that fits your taste, style and ability - I say ability because I once tried on a really high pair of heels and almost rolled my ankle standing up and Kourosh was right there to catch me, sit me down, and then insisted on a different style for me :) I have always left the store satisfied with my purchases and service. As well the follow up from Kourosh with emails to make sure that I am satisfied has gone well and above my expectations. I live in Canada and I only buy my Louboutin's and other fine shoes from Kourosh as he truly respects and treats his clients like gold. One time I showed him a picture of a style of shoes I had seen on line and he searched high and low to find them keeping me in the loop and updated the whole time. This is a beautiful store! It is small, but it is like a little jewel box. The service is friendly and the selections are really nice - lots of great DVF and marc. The beauty area is lovely and the perfume counter is amazing. It is small, but, for once, the people working the counter actually know a lot about fragrances! For a perfume junkie like me, this is so much better than the usual perfume counter experience! The alterations department is also great. I am a short girl, so it is always important to know about this kinda stuff. They actually altered my wedding dress, which was a designer dress from another Saks location, and did a great job creating a train and taking it in - all in one fitting (I was a bit late...). And, the shoe and handbag departments are like candyland. total fantasy!!! it was all i could do to keep from grabbing something and running like hell... :o) read more

They really have done a spectacular job with the remodel- they put the luxury back into luxury shopping. The handbag arcade looks so fresh and elegant! I like the cosmetics expansion, and I also dig the mega-mega jewelry section. If I could only figure out how to make a few boatloads of cash to purchase some of these wonderfully marketed objects, it would surely be retail heaven. read more

I had the pleasure of having THE BEST experience in customer service and it happened to be at Saks Fifth Avenue Biltmore. I shopped at Jo Malone with Ramona who was a sweetheart. She was kind, professional, and did not stop helping me until she was sure that the scents we had chosen were exactly what we wanted. After the purchase, she asked if she could help us with anything else. I mentioned I was looking for a dress and she quickly took my upstairs. She listened to what I wanted and walked with me to choose all the dresses that fit my description. She stood outside my fitting room to give me her professional opinion on each dress and after two hours it was decided that the best dress was one we had to order a smaller size for. I expressed to her that I needed the dress quickly because I was leaving the country for an event (which I would wear that dress to). She proceeded to locating the LAST dress and shipping it out to the store so I could try it on. The next day I received a call from Ramona following up assuring me it had been shipped and she would notify me when she received it. The day after she called me and let me know that the dress was going to arrive late. She then called fedex and found out it would arrive on time to the facility but wouldn't be shipped out. She told me not to worry and that she would pick up the dress herself from fedex and take it to the store. I have the dress with me now and I am catching my plane shortly. This experience was incredible. Ramona went above and beyond to be sure that not only I found the dress I wanted, but that I had the dress I needed right on time. Her dedication to her job speaks very highly of her and of Saks. She was professional and extremely kind. I wish all Saks stores are as fortunate as this one to have an employee like her. read more

Never liked this store, granted I have only ever shopped the 1st floor...still always the same outcome. Employees usually size you up and down and can't be bothered by us peasants unless we got an Hermes bag hanging off of our shoulder. (I'm not the one behind the counter am I now, plus if I wanted to be judged I'd call my mother.) Today was no different. Come in to get some Laura Mercier moisturizer, no one around that counter. I started looking through the testers and that's when a saleslady approached. While looking I realized that some of their testers were toddlers...3 YRS OLD, no joke expired in 2015...newer ones expired last year-2017. I mentioned this to the sales woman and she replied "it's fine, those are just testers, our product is good"...wtf? What is this Wallmart? Tester means people test them on their face, sweet God! I'm sure there's a reason for expiration dates on make up, then again who am I to question the almighty Saks sales woman. It's like if Costco gave out expired samples..."don't worry about our green ham, those are just samples". Let's not even talk about the fact that she had no idea how much the product cost or asked me if I needed help figuring out my shade... Thankfully they were out of stock, why wouldn't they be, plebs like me deserves no make up from fancy Saks Fifth Avenue. So, I spent my pennies at Sephora where testers are within expiration date and it doesn't smell like mothballs soaked in rosewater and judgement. I guess since running things this way for years, they figure us sheep will just come through the doors take their crap and feel soever grateful for a chance to waste our money there, well I'm out. When I want to pay an insane amount of money for some high-quality gear, this is my jam. I can't help but say hello and chitchat with all the beautiful women at the make-up counters. They are all so pleasant and eager to help me. Especially the tall Serbian woman at the Chanel counter. She always has my favorite lotions, colognes and perfumes in stock. Can't help but stop by Trish McEvoy and grab my favorite super expensive Chapstick. I guess they call it lip balm but you should really try it. read more

I'm shocked to say I had a relative pretty woman moment at the shoe department. I was walking around with my fiancé, who has a few tattoos, looking for some wedding shoes. The employees were huddled together in a corner gossiping. Aside from the sideways glances, they never looked at us or even acknowledged our presence. When we got closer to where they were, they actually SCATTERED like a herd of scared animals! I couldn't make this up if I tried! My fiancé was so furious he actually said, "Are you scared of us?!" out loud. Again, no response. Ok, so I went to buy make up and had an exceptional experience by the lady at the Armani counter. I wanted a different foundation for summer, I explained I was heading to a destination wedding in Hawaii and wanted long wear but light foundation. She immediately knew what I meant, she also suggested I take a sample size of a shad darker in case I get a tan. She also gave me a sample of a bronze light reflecting serum, and thankfully showed me how to apply it. She explained how it would show up in the pictures, and was 100% right. I ended up using it again a weeks later for another friend's engagement party, and shared it with my friend. We loved the effect in the pictures. It made us look like we had a bronze glow. We even applied it to our chest and shoulders. read more

I am a frequent Biltmore Fashion Park patron and Saks Fifth avenue is always so good to me! First of all, they are definitely dog friendly. And all the staff, especially at the counters are so friendly and welcoming to both me and my pup. On one occasion, I spent about 10 mins just conversing with a lady at Jo Malone just about my puppy. She was the sweetest thing. I never feel like I'm not good enough to shop here. My biggest moment for me here has to be at the Louis Vuitton where I bought my very first high end designer purse. Sad to say, they no longer have the LV here, but my experience there was second to none. I was so happy with my purchase and with the lady to helped my first purchase such an exciting one, I wish I remembered her name. And I wish LV didn't have to go! That same day I also went into Gucci to look at wallets and to my surprise, they had some items on sale (this was on Black Friday). The lady who helped me was so nice. She brought out tons of wallets for me that she thought matched my style and she was right, I was feeling all of them! Lucky for me, I fell in love with one they had on sale! They only had 2 left and I was hesitant to go for it on the same day as my LV purchase so I took awhile to decide. They didn't rush me at all. They let me hold it and look at it as long as I wanted. I would say it was because of their great service that I was convinced to get it. And am so glad I did! I have also made a purchase at the Chanel store there and that one was not as great as my other experience. I'm not sure if it was because I had my dog with me that I felt a little unwelcome there but the sales associate seemed a little uninterested in helping me find what I was looking for, especially because I didn't really know what I wanted. I went from looking at earrings to card holders to keychains and back to earrings and she seemed a little annoyed and kept asking me if I have decided what I want and that was a little irritating because it was a big deal to me - my first Chanel purchase. I ended up buying signature CC earrings and I love them but I don't love the memory of me buying it. Overall, I love this Saks and will always come back for more. read more

My first time at Saks and it was amazing. I went to see watch the very charismatic Dennis DeWalt for Proenza Schouler talk about the upcoming release of a new fragrance called Arizona. Dennis and the entire staff at Saks were beyond friendly and very knowledgeable. Usually one hears of sales people in high end stores being a bit rude to those that cannot afford to shop there. Not here. This place is full of class. I highly recommend anyone that wants to feel like a celebrity to come in, take in the atmosphere and all the store has to offer while be welcomed from start to finish. Also be sure to check out the Giorgio Armani makeup counter for a quick Arizona makeover. Don't forget to leave without your new Proenza Schouler fragrance. read more

Great customer service which is not as pushy as Neiman Marcus. Love the cosmetic and purses here. I think the show selection should be much larger and have a wider variety. Saks does have great sales and promotions. A cosmetic promotion just ended where you got a tote bag with samples inside if you spend at least $75. At Neimans their cosmetic gifts require a $100 purchase, but tend to have more samples, but less attractive bags. Saks is in a great location at the heart of the Biltmore. Go forth and spend money! read more

I purchased a David Yurman ring from a really friendly sales person by the name of Eiko last week. She was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. The jewelry store was pretty empty and I actually was just passing through to get to the shoe department but stopped to window shop. When I was asking which ring would look better on me, Eiko called her colleague over, Layla, to ask her opinion also. They were quite friendly and if they are on commission, you would never know it. I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely go back there again for my David Yurman goods. read more
