Very poor customer service. The sales clerk would not honor the sales price that was marked on a pair of sunglasses that I was going to purchase. She said a customer must have put the clearance sticker on it. A company that cares about their reputation would have honored the sales price that was marked on the sunglasses. read more

Worst place ever, very disorganized. Leather gloves are incomplete - missing pair. I was followed around by a very tall blond man with a wire around his ear as I was carrying one black leather Ugg glove and Karl lagerman glove with rhinestones on it and trying to locate the other match. The place is like a vacant warehouse with items tossed all over the place. Yes, I understand it is the Holidays but for that tall man to follow me around and to call the police as I saw a police car with red and blue lights swirling right outside there within 30 minutes of me pacing back and forth holding the missing paired gloves. I finally found the rhinestone pair in the complete opposite pair hidden with coin purses. That man probably thought i was up to something as I kept trying to find the missing pair. Instead of asking if i needed assistance, he was just secretly following me around, but it was so obvious that he called that cop car ready for me to get in it. Mind you I have been a saks fifth card holder since 2003. I finally got the last nerve to ask someone if there was another pair or to help me locate the missing glove, and customer service is RUDE and they were like, oh we can't sell it. They immediately grabbed the glove from me. They almost did not recognize the karl lagerman gloves as they said there's no tags on them even though someone confirmed yes they do sell those gloves there. What a mess after so much time, labor, and effort trying to locate the gloves, they almost did not sell me the pair nor the beeny as they said its kate spade and it is supposed to come with gloves even though the kate spade beeny had tags on it!! I HATE THIS PLACE and will only come back if i am drunk!!!!!! and mind you I DONT DRINK!!! read more

Amazing deals and amazing customer service. The sales persons personally assisted me with a $2000 originally priced Hugo Boss suit that cost me $500. Smoking deals. I am not sure why people are giving them such low ratings - they're an outlet, not a premium store in Beverly Hills. Despite this, I received exemplary customer service and advice. Generally, I really like the Saks franchise. I've been to this particular outlet store on five occasions, and each time it has been a horrible experience. Every other Saks has much better customer service. Here, if you have any questions, it typically takes 20 minutes or more to get them answered. Often the person you ask has to go talk to someone else. The wait times are extremely long generally at check out. Selection is also more limited. If you like Saks, just avoid this particular store. read more

I'm a little heated right now becuz...I didn't like security following me and my husband. It appeared to be racial profiling. Within moments of arriving I noticed a black guy in my space, a few moments later he reappeared like he was checking on me. Really, that pissed me off. We are African American, "senior citizens". I had no idea of what gorgeous jewelry this store had .. Ask for OLIVIA if you want an actual gemologist expert in the jewelry department.. she is amazing.. very knowledgeable and the sweetest lady .. she will answer your questions as she knows what she is talking about.. she sold me a stunning piece few days ago and so knowledgeable... The other people there look lost when it comes to fine jewelry.. besides the great deals in jewelry .. they have great deals in all type of brand name clothes.. they used to be more organized in the clothes department.. but now got kind of messy .. when this store first opened.. it was gorgeous and so organized.. now it's not organized like before .. clothes especially .. but hopefully they get better at organizing.. and have it like they used to ., but good deals!! Isn't Saks supposed to be some kind of premium brand store? I don't understand how twice now I've gone into the store to make what is, for me, a substantial purchase and to see what looks like about 14 registers in the store and certainly more then enough people to operate them - but only *TWO* are being used when there are over 20 people standing in line? I don't know whats going on with this store, but I've seen it twice now and both times just decided to leave without making a purchase after waiting in line for 30 minutes. They also have one of those fitting room systems where someone with a key has to open the door. But that person apparently is frequently off doing something else. I don't want to blame the staff here as this seems like its more like amateur management. Whatever the cause, its not been a good introduction to this brand of retailer. read more

if there was an option for no star, thats what i would've picked. this is supposed to be a higher end discounted department store so you would expect that the customer service piece would be there 100%. but it obviously isn't. the employees are more concerned about the other employees and talking amongst themselves. the cashiers all have ugly attitudes and no type of willingness to be helpful. love their product just HATE their customer service. did not feel welcome at all. one more thing, when i shop i shop and blow money like theres no tomorrow. one of the ladies, who was probably a manager, probably thought i was shoplifting when i went to go change my daughtrs diaper in the bathroom because she followed me all the way there to tell me carts weren't allowed and i already had it in there for a few minutes. talk about stereotyping! read more

I hate to risk bad karma with unfavorable reviews, but I'm hoping this place gets the message. When this outlet opened, it had a great selection of designers - I was particularly fond of the Milly, Vince, and Halston goodies. But as time went on, they stopped showcasing brands and it became a free-for-all, a la Marshalls and TJ Maxx. The few items they did get in were dirty and damaged. My guess is that the strategy here is to act as an anchor store and lure shoppers in, and then pass them off to the branded stores themselves at the broader outlet site, or hope that people will buy the made-for-outlet product they are now pushing (yes folks, it exists...I'm talking to you, Kate Spade shoppers waiting in that gigantic line). First let me say that I was not surprised that when I pulled up the reviews to write this that others have had the same unpleasant experience. When I shop I normally find everything I want but it and just return whatever doesn't work. I just do not care to spend my thy time in a dressing room getting undressed and dressed a million times. Tonight I experienced the worst representation of customer service that I have ever seen from Kristin. She needed a manager to help her with everything. Kristen was extremely rude, slow, and she is an adult woman in her late 30's or early 40's and she couldn't even count. She didnt have any $1's so she opted to give me almost $4 is change. I asked her can I give her the difference and she can just give me a $5 bill. Kristen then puts all the change on the counter and toss my receipt at me, and says I'm confusing her. You shouldn't be working the register, nor customer service for anyone with that type of attitude. I was going to purchase some more things but after this experience I will not shop at this store ever again. I couldn't even make myself purchase the things I found tonight. Her manager Veronica normally assists me when I come in, but I have to let Veronica know that Kristen's horrible service just cost you all a very good customer. I really do not like writing bad reviews, but this was a must after this experience, especially during the holidays. This is not the place for holiday shopping, go to another location or Bloomingdale's. read more

After asking a couple of employees who were doing absolutely nothing but standing around if they could help me I got redirected to the cashier. I shopped here on 3/29/19 around 3pm. The mall has a digital coupon for $30 off $150. One of the associate recommend we spend a little more to get the discount. So we went back and got another clothing to go over $150 total. A different associate named Armani was ringing us out. She said we needed a digital coupon code that we can get at the service desk in the food court. So we did that. We went to the food court and the help lady said there is no code. She even called the store to explain the situation. We went back to the store and Armani said that she needs the code and that no one called the store. We asked for the manager and she said she can do a one time special $30 discount. We ended up getting the deal they advertised after so much hassle. However, to add to insult she did not remove the security tag. We had to go back to store. The store associate, Armani, did not even apologize. She removed the tag and just handed our clothes back. Talk about rude and unprofessional associate. Please avoid Armani, the associate! read more

WORST SERVICE would give 0 stars if I could they sold me a pair Gucci sunglasses and after realizing that they didn't fit me the way I wanted I went to the Vacaville store to return them and they said they couldn't because it had the wrong tag on them so they talked to the manager at the Livermore store to tell them to check over their cameras I drive all the way from San Francisco to see if they got the video they pull it out and say that I got them in a different condition and they were un sellable tell me to talk to another manager and because of their employees mistake I have to deal with this plus their attitude was horrible and were trying to make it seem like I was lying the whole time very unprofessional never going back there again and aside from the terrible parking it's not worth stepping in that store read more

I'm a fashion noob, but even I have to admit that some of the higher end stuff really is better. That said, I still can't bring myself to spend $150 for a tie. That's where this place comes in. I usually get awesome customer service here when I'm checking out but today got me peeved. I've made a few purchases here and I've found the sales associated at the register to be super friendly even when I do returns/exchanges. I came in to return a laptop bag and small wallet. The sales associate Philip C. was not friendly at all, I found him to be snobby and rude. His demeanor was extremely condescending. He processed the return but said nothing to me, the amount being refunded or to sign the receipt. He just threw my receipt on the counter instead of handing it to me like a real sales associate should. Without saying have a nice day or anything, he called up the next customer while I still at the register grabbing my receipt. I didn't even know that was the end of the transaction because he didn't even give me back my original receipt. I hope saks management reads this re-train this associate on customer service! read more

I've actually found a couple of good deals at this location. The in store customer service was mediocre, nothing to write home about but it's tolerable. I would give the in store shopping experience a 3 star. But I would only give 1 star for their over the phone customer service. I called twice to check on the status on something I ordered using their locator service. Both times the women (2 different women, I believe) were rude and not very helpful at all. One word: TACKY!! Me and my mom came shopping here and I found a pair of Joes shorts marked at $24.99 with a very well stuck on red sticker. When we went to purchase them, it scanned at $39.99. The manager, VERONICA, rudely came over and ripped the red sticker off telling us that "someone" (implying us) changed the sticker and the $24.99 price would not be honored. (Btw: you would never in a million years look at me and my mom and assume that we would do something like this.) Clearly a sales associate mislabeled this. I just find it so inappropriate for a place like Saks to give such blatantly rude, accusatory, and poor terrible service over a $15 dollar difference. I would never expect this from any upstanding retailer. I asked to speak to another manager who did end up granting us the $24.99 price. In the end it was not about the $15, WE CAN BOTH MORE THAN AFFORD THIS, it is the principle of customer service and also the embarrassment/harassment we received from Veronica which made us so upset. read more
