Server was nice, but I ordered salmon skin and got smoked salmon. Ambiance was nothing fancy. The miso soup had good flavor. My daughter liked the California roll. The yellowtail was pretty bland. Prices are good--you get 8 pieces in a roll with a small piece of fish in each for an average of $4.50/roll. They also sell some Japanese groceries at reasonable prices. Very good Japanese cuisine. Nestled between an Indian Market and Ramunto's (pizza/Italian food), a family owned and operated restaurant rests. The food is always tasty. The portion sizes are okay, not super big nor small. The man at the counter is sweet and welcoming. They even have a little market-ish counter inside. Sushi is the best in Vermont. It may be reasonably priced, but it's also good food. The fish tasted fresh, the veggies looked good and tasted good, and the portions were good. The inside has some tables with partial booth seating near the window. You can get tea and condiments, as well as bus your own table. There's some Japanese food on shelves to buy near the door.
