Best hidden gem in Vegas for sushi. The quality is fresh and they have really good rolls. There's not one thing I didn't like here. Servers are friendly and it's clean and doesn't smell fishy. Overall can't wait to come back till this day I think about those yummy rolls!

We tried Sakura Ya while craving some sushi. Placed a take out order online, which was very simple. They also have some nice freebies if you order online and hit certain price points (2 free egg rolls for order over $25, free order of gyoza for order over $35, etc). We tried a chicken fried rice, sunshine roll and tiger roll, and got the free order of gyoza. Food was ready right when I arrived and packaged nicely. Overall, we were very impressed with the food. Everything was delicious, particularly the chicken fried rice. The sushi was good despite having been sitting for 15-20 minutes on the drive home before eating. I can only imagine how tasty it would be if we ate it right when it was made, especially since we tried one of the fried rolls.

Great local spot! Came on a Saturday night, and they were quite busy. Most of the tables are taken up. We were kindly greeted, and quickly seated. Service was fantastic throughout the night, with attentive staff. The decor throughout the restaurant is quite tasteful, and provides a comforting atmosphere. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. They only have à la carte options, so don't come here expecting an AYCE type spot. However, their options are fantastic! Baked lobster roll (10/10) - Warm, filling, melt in your mouth lobster Black pepper beef (10/10) - this dish was fantastic! Plenty of beef, very generous portion sizes - beef pieces are large, chunky, and very peppery, just the way I like it - the meat is super soft with each bite - comes with a bowl of rice Overall, I am extremely happy to find another local hidden gem. I love sushi, and can't believe it took me so long to visit this spot. Definitely will recommend to my friends, and I will be coming back in the future!

I come here very often to go or dine in. Delicious food at Sakura Ya every time! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better. From the sushi to the ramen, everything was top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious Japanese cuisine! Glad they are so close to home

Popped in with the family after hiking in Mount Charleston. They have everything you would want from a Japanese restaurant and the food was delicious! It's a small hole in the wall but there is plenty of seating inside. Our servers were super nice and helpful. They were so nice to my baby and honestly that bumped them from a 3 star to a 4 star. Will definitely come back after adventuring in mount Charleston.

The scorpion roll! 2 rolls in 1.

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday evening and we were greeted and seated right away. The service is 10/10 and the sushi is 10/10. We had a great experience. Their rolls are fresh and have beautiful cuts of fish on them. The rolls came out fast and we enjoyed all of them. We never felt rushed. We are definitely coming back.

My husband and I came to Sakura Ya because we were in the area. We walked in to this cute restaurant that had a few customers, and we sat down. We ordered a miso soup, Angry Birds roll, edamame, and the Playboy roll. The miso soup and the edamame were fine; but the sushi rolls were phenomenal. We thought they were even better than our favorite sushi restaurant. I was very impressed and I already want to and plan to come back! Services were on point, ambience was modern and trendy. Prices were great too!!!!

Let me tell you guys something. Go eat here and try it out, you will not be disappointed. Very high quality food for the price. The service is always excellent and they are so nice. Every time we go here the quality of the food and the taste is phenomenal. They get the food out very quickly and don't pressure you to eat faster. The vibe and ambiance is chill with the music playing and good conversations happening over great food. 10/10 recommend you go here if you're craving sushi and TRY THE SURF AND TURF ROLL! Only thing that would make this place even better would be an AYCE option because I can't get enough.

We really enjoy this restaurant. We come here everytime we go to mt. Charleston and are on the way home. And everytime we come, it has the same good standard. Great fast and friendly service. Very clean. Fair prices. Quiet. And not too busy with tons of easy parking. The food portions are also large and tasty. We get the lunch bento for about $14-15 and the. The udon for $10 and it feeds us perfectly. If you are in the area, we recommend testing this place out. It is a good and calm restaurant!

Had this again because it was so good the first time but was disappointed with the packaging. They gave me a dirty bag that was obviously used before and the egg roll container had a huge hole. I haven't had a chance to eat in and will try that. But was disappointed with the sloppiness of my Togo order.

Such a good sushi spot! It's quaint and quiet, which we love, and the service is quick too. They don't have AYCE, but they had a pretty good variety of rolls and starters. We started with a few appetizers, my favorite being their Fried Spam Musubi and the Seaweed Salad. The spam musubi was amazing!! Super crispy and the sauces they put on it were such a good combo. I believe it was Kewpie and an eel sauce, but with the fried tempura batter it was so tasty! The California Roll was pretty standard, so nothing to complain about there. My friends and I all enjoyed what we ordered and definitely plan on coming back!

My wife and I always go to this place for local sushi. Pretty girl & Angry bird rolls are a must try! It's conveniently located in the Skye Canyon shopping center and the bathrooms are clean. The service is attentive, the setting is all you need for a local sushi spot, but most importantly the sushi is fresh and prepared well! Cherry on top it's actually Asians making the food!

This place was delicious! Popped in for a Friday night dinner right at 5 and it was quiet--which made us nervous at first lol. The service was wonderful! Very attentive staff--quick service, too. We ordered several rolls and they were all fabulous! Definitely a great option for something so close to the house. Will be back again for a lunch special soon, I'm sure!

Special on the beer, buy one get one. Ill take it :)

Not sure, but cross-contamination could be an unintentional issue, so be careful.

Only giving it the 2 star for the ambience because it is cute on the inside w all the anime murals on the wall service was ok. Anyways for the food my husband opted for the black spicy garlic ramen, I got the pork katsu bento and a strawberry fruit tea. One of the previous 1 star reviews I've read on here were right, my bento plate nothing was fresh everything came from frozen you can taste and tell the quality of it,my pork katsu It was chewy and hard and the sauce they give with it tasted like A1 sauce, the cabbage slaw salad was weird the dressing was Japanese mayo and ketchup I thought it was going to be some kind of sesame salad dressing, sushi was not made fresh the whole thing was mushy, tempura shrimp was not good and it was suppose to come w the soft boiled egg welp I got a cold half hard boiled egg. The soy sauce they had on the table tasted gross even my husband agreed it was not good. His garlic ramen,I did try the broth it had a hint of sourness to it but it's not really all that, noodles are not fresh you can really tell they used some thin noodles not traditional ramen noodles you would get at most places. Definitely not the best ramen in the area, there is other places near by that has way better ramen that this place.Never once the girls came to the table to ask us how everything was. Strawberry fruit tea was ok a little too sweet to my liking but it was alright. Now was it worth the $40 something we spend? definitely not I would not come back to this place. upon arriving home my stomach started hurting, never again. Also what ramen joint sells seafood boil? Every item was ultra-fresh. Hot when hot and cold when cold. I would order something and just a minute or two it would come out. This was even with an 80% full restaurant. Even more impressive was that hot items came out very, very quickly. Matthew, my server was a cool laid-back guy who was super attentive. Everything he recommended was great! And he checked on almost everything I ordered! Something else impressive was how quickly they clean cleared and reset the tables. It was a team effort. Everyone who was in the restaurant serving or busing helped replace the items on the table. It was very cool to see. I have to mention Cassie, the first and last person I talked to. She greeted me at the door with a happy smile, asked if this was my first time and kindly recommended a lot of wonderful items when explaining the menu. On the way out she thanked me for coming. The space was simply but well decorated. They picked a great upbeat soundtrack for midday. It was a wonderful meal all around! I'll be back for sure.

Inside they have traditional tables, they also have booths by the revolving sushi, and they also have a bar with bar seating. We came in at lunch time and were sat in the revolving sushi area. Someone took our beverage order. But after that the rest is up to you. We took mostly plates from the revolving sushi. The biggest problem we had was that the descriptions lacked the ingredients of the dish. So you had to look them up on the computer screen to figure out what was in the rolls. We found out that not all but many of the rolls contained shellfish. Another problem was that if you didn't grab something you saw that you might want it didn't get refilled so you missed out. We tried one item from the computer screen. For this you have to use your credit card and pay. (that seemed odd) But the chicken karaage was very good. It was served to us by a robotic tray on wheels that ran above the revolving sushi belt. There was a fun factor of watching the sushi wiz by. But depending on what side of the booth you are on only one person can see the sushi coming the other person sees the sushi as it's passing by. My biggest complaint might be that none of the sushi is cold. That might bother some people. Still fun. Not the best sushi but very inexpensive for what it is. It was surprisingly unpleasant and something I noticed immediately. Second, I was disappointed by the pricing of the half rolls. A half roll does not mean you pay half the listed price, which feels misleading. If you're receiving half the portion, I think the pricing should reflect that more accurately. Despite those issues, the sushi itself was enjoyable overall, and I would consider coming back to try a few more specialty rolls.
