Didn't wanna go far from home so we checked out Ginza since we wanted sushi. Great vibe inside and pleasant service as well. Ordered a couple of rolls( The Toro, andI forgot the other one), a small Unadon, and some nigiri(Suzuki, Madai, and Chutoro). Rolls were tasty, as was all the nigiri. The Unadon was okay, not like they do in Japan though. Prices are justified...this is not an AYCE style sushi joint so you know the Quality of seafood is much better and tasty.

Best shrimp tempura I've ever had. The restaurant is small but beautifully decorated. Our server Naomi was so funny and friendly. This place has the freshest sushi I've ever had in LV. They don't offer all you can eat & it is a little pricey but trust me you will leave happy & full. See my pics

Our server was warm, welcoming and delightful. Made us feel welcome from the start. A large variety of rolls, but we opted for ones that we already knew and they were delicious. We got the Dragon and Lasagna roll. I love salmon and got the classic salmon roll. It was a bit lack luster. Next time I'll opt for the sashimi. I prefer made to order sushi over AYCe and this didn't disappoint. Portions and pricing were fair.

Wow. Just returned from Japan and was craving some food and this place is legit. The service is very good and the ambiance feels like I am back in Japan. The food was very good. Get the beef hot pot and the honey toast so good!

Thank you for an amazing experience, Cici!! Ginza absolutely did not disappoint. Some of the best sushi in Vegas.

I have been waiting a long time to check this place out. I must say Service was OUTSTANDING! From the moment we walked in to the time we left, service was on point! The ambiance was great since they placed us in the party room (we had a party of 6 with 2 babies) however if we were to be seated in the normal seating area, we probably would have been squished. The food was good, I want to go back though because I think I probably chose the wrong item. I should have gone with something that I am normally used to eating to get a standard rating. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food. I feel like I need to go back again when I can focus on tasting the flavors. I also would like to try the sushi. This would be a must try at least once.

What a great find! The interior is nicely decorated, with cozy booths ready for a date night or just eating out with the family. The menu is extensive (sushi, skewers, noodles, rice bowls, nabe/hot pot, and so much more). They have a beef hot pie (like a beef stew pot pie with puff pastry crust) that's so delicious. It's great value for the quality of the food. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

I will admit, we are no experts when it comes to Japanese food so maybe their other foods are great. However, we ordered the chicken fried rice, the beef fried rice, and the New York steak. We took our food to go. None of the meat had ANY flavor whatsoever. The chicken, the beef in the rice, and the steak. All flavorless. The rice was also very bland. The chicken in the rice was insanely dry/overcooked on top of being flavorless. Just not a good experience at all which we were surprised after reading all the amazing reviews. Not sure we will give it another shot after how terrible this experience was with the food.

We visited on Saturday night, for dinner, with a party of four and it was a very good experience. We were seated right away in a spacious booth and the waiter stopped by and took orders. Their margaritas are tasty and tall. Two of us ordered the Omakaze, it was outstanding and almost too much food. The highlights were the sashimi/such platter and the Wagyu sukiyaki, We also ordered varied apps and entrees, the Lobster was also excellent. The service was very good. The waiter was friendly, prompt and professional. He kept up with drink refills and cleared empty dishes expeditiously. Overall, an excellent place for Japanese fare.

Oyster Shooter, fish roll lol miso sauce

Every time I'm in Vegas I make it a point to get here even tho it's out in suburban hell. This restaurant just keeps getting better. Pros: Michelle is a great attentive knowledgeable and kind server! She's my girl. If I had a restaurant I'd steal her. They hired a real bartender I believe his name is Ethan (I apologize if I'm incorrect) He's great! He was so needed. He makes a good martini. My only request would be to add some additional gins besides the usual Bombay and Tanqueray. Maybe add Hendrix or London Dry Gin No. 3, or Botanist and a good white vermouth maybe Noilly Prat or Dolin just an observation and a hope. Atmosphere is lovely. Booths are private and they've turned down the volume of music.Big pro! Now you can actually have a conversation. Biggest pro of all is the food. I'm a sashimi gal and some rolls. Fish is always remarkably fresh. Nice thick cuts. Ask for the fresh wasabi. Michelle turned me on to a roll the other night no rice asst fish wrapped in cucumber (it's in the photo) very clean and delicious. The oyster shooters were amazing. I had them twice. Friends had the wagyu something and raved. Coming from the OC where we have some of the best restaurants and most definitely the best sushi at Miki's (formally 242) this place is not to be missed.

Weve been wanting to try this place since before they opened, time went by and saw the 5 star reviews, so we definitely had to come and see for ourselves. Long story short, the reviews are legit. We ordered alot of food and every single plate we had tasted great!!! The skewers, curry, sushi, sukiyaki, yakisoba, gindara (black miso cod), mango and strawberry crepe cakes all tasted great! Wife had a cocktail as well and she said it was just right. The setting was nice, the artwork on each wall/booth looked beautiful. Service was outstanding as well. Im just glad we can finally have some tasty Japanese food on the north side and not have to drive to China Town area. This place is a must if you live in the north las vegas side and/or Japanese food lover. Another 5 star review to add for Ginza!

Honey Toast with Vanilla Ice Cream

As a family that used to live in Japan, we've found it hard to find good quality Japanese food living in the states. We were so impressed with how good everything was. The Katsudon stole the show. it really tastes just like it does back in Japan. The maki rolls were all good & great portion size, you can tell they care about their roll presentation here & give a good mix of rice to fish ratio on the rainbow roll. The skewers are so tasty & a great appetizer. The honey toast was also so good. The inside was perfectly soft while the outer crust was nice and crunchy. We all agreed we'd come here now instead of our usual go-to Japanese spot now that we know it exists!!

one of the best Japanese restaurants in Vegas. The food was high quality and delicious. Our server, Cici, was amazing. She gave great recommendations, and her warm and fun personality made our dining experience even better. The food was also served at just the right pace. Another thing that made our visit worthwhile was the restaurant's atmosphere. I loved the warm lighting and how each table was separated by walls, making it feel more intimate and cozy. The restaurant seemed new because it was so clean and well-maintained. I'll definitely be back, and this will be one of my go to spots whenever I have visitors in town.

Kamikaze roll, WestWorld roll, Spicy Yellowtail roll...all excellent!!

Do they have a happy hour or lunch specials?

They only open at 4, so not open for lunch unfortunately. As to a Happy hour....I don't remember seeing a menu for that, just a special Omakase menu and will be open for Father's Day only at 12. Hope that helps.

On the particular evening that we went, either they were extra busy and had too much customers from CES... but they ran out of sushi rice and did not have any hand rolls....How does a Japanese restaurant run out of rice??? We were super disappointed and ended up just getting skewers. Itzakaya Tora, you definitely need to step up your game and have better management in the future for these big events. I don't think they are that new of a restaurant, but they definitely let me down. Chicken and pork skewers ($2 per skewer, 7/10) - super juicy! You can definitely taste the charcoal and barbecue flavor. They do a great job of keeping each skewer, moist and juicy, that I didn't feel like I was eating burnt skewers like you get at some other restaurants. - $2 per skewer is pretty good for the happy hour deal, but I think it's much more expensive during the regular menu option. Don't think it would be particularly worth it with their regular menu. If you're looking for a Omakase intimate setting, this place is it. We arrived at 830ish- no wait…read moreand were greeted and seated by a friendly young man. We had a choice for bar or table and we chose table. It was tucked in a corner so it felt intimate for me and husband. Menu was filled with some of our faves and some new things we never tried. Skewers were great esp the Wagyu- it was so good and tender. We enjoyed the agadashi tofu with was one of our faves here. Food was overall delicious and you can taste the freshness of the fish. We def want to come back and experience their dinner specials. Definitely a place to try if you're in the area
