I had a horrible experience. I told the guy I was going to the store and I'll be right he caught an attitude then I address him about it he says nothing. Then they take my food out and just leave it there to the point I have to say hey that's my food can I get that and then i pay while walking out a employee comes out of nowhere and ask me while I'm walking out did I pay. if you was doing your job and paying attention of course paid. I'm not gonna walk and just pick up and walk out and steal . The pizza isn't all that and if I had to rate the pizza as New York I'll give it like five. Maybe people think this pizza is good because of the location but I'm general I would never go back to the establishment again and the pizza mid. read more

- regular pizza is too cheesy - they were out of a lot of products like megharita pizza and chicken - sausage and peppers were good - pasta needed more salt - buffalo wings were well made, well seasoned, well salted - yelp delivery time told me an hour+, but delivery was under forty five min - not much special about this place that separates it from other pizza shops read more

Wow!!! I had 1 plain slice yesterday and it was so delicious. Even the crust was so soft and full of flavor. My son had a pepperoni slice and he said it was the best he ever had. I dont live anywhere close to this pizza shop but I would go out my way to get here. Its on a busy road so if youre driving good luck with parking. We also had the hotwings. First time I older from this place online I was not impressed, with the delivery which I though they over priced me for what I order, but actually when I checked back I made the mistake and order the wrong thing. The manager of the place contacted me and the next day I gave him a call back and he wanted to credit me back for what I order that came out to $31. That was very professional and I was not expecting that. He sent me a large cheezy pie which was delicious. The crust was so crunchy love it. I will continue to order from this place since I'm a pizza head and it good to know that I have a great pizzeria on my neighborhood. There is also a domino's pizza near by which I do not recommend buying from. I try them before and you can tell the difference with the taste, and the delivery which took over 2 hours. Also the delivery guy from this place is nice and makes his deliveries on time. Just gain a new customer :) read more

Where do I begin about this place while still keeping it short and sweet? In simple terms this is the BEST pizza you will find in the area. I have dibbled and dabbled with other pizza shops but this place is unmatched. This is my mom's favorite pizza spot close to her home. Growing up in ENY, Brooklyn we were always going to Pitkin Avenue to shop for school clothes, sneakers or household items. After shopping we would get something to eat. Over the years, Pitkin Avenue has developed and more chain stores are popping up. However, this pizza joint is one of the old skool spots from back in the day and its still thriving. I remember ordering slices as a kid for me and my brother with the small fountain juice. We would eat in the back of the pizza shop with our shopping bags in between our legs. Lol. To date, the set up is still the same. They have advanced to a variety of flavored slushies that's a hit with people young and old. You have the option to mix the sugary drinks. All that's missing is a bit of alcohol in them bad boys. Lol. They used to sell the Italian ices in front of the store. The pizza is good to me but great to my mom. I can be coming from Queens and pass tons of pizza spots but my mom specifies she wants pizza from the one on Pitkin Ave. read more

Almost as good as John's on Bleeker, and that's the highest compliment. I wish these guys were near me in the east Village instead of east NY. The pies are cheesy, delicious, and you almost always get a fresh slice. Forget the clowns who make 20 pies in the morning and reheat slices all day (and the next day if they don't sell.) They make pies the old fashion way, one at a time. It brings tears to my eyes to come to a place like this! read more

Let me start off first by saying that Sal and Paul's Pizzeria is definitely a not a hidden gem in Brownsville Brooklyn but rather to the rest of Brooklyn. For as long as I could remember they have had the best slices in the neighborhood. Years ago the slices were only a dollar twenty five. I decided to grab a plan slice well done while waiting for my laundry to get done and as usual it hits the spot. This place is by far one of the best pizza shops in the area. Anytime I visit Pitkin Avenue, I make sure to stop by and grab a slice. You can tell by the quality that they make the pizzas fresh daily. You won't find any cold rock-hard slices here. My favorite is their Pepperoni slice. I have tried other toppings such as; Pineapple, Broccoli, and Extra Cheese (my hunger took over hence why there are no pictures, sorry...not sorry). Another favorite of mine is their flavored slushies. You cannot call yourself a pizza shop without a slushie machine. I love how their slushies are made just right (not too sweet.... just the right amount of flavor and ice ratio). What's even better is the customer service. Of all the times I have visited, I've never received the usual Brownsville attitude. The staff is friendly and greets their customers with a smile. The shop is a little small. They do have seating available in the back and outdoors (during warmer weather). I would recommend if you're ever looking for a quick bite to eat if ever in the area. read more

I really wanted to like this place, especially after all the other positive reviews and the fact that they delivery to my apartment, but my experience was nothing but disappointing. My boyfriend and I ordered the vegetarian deep-dish special pizza for delivery on a Thursday night. The pizza didn't arrive for nearly 90 minutes and it was delivered by a friend of the family - all of their normal delivery drivers were busy. OK, so they were having a really busy night - I can understand that. Unfortunately, something I can't forgive it when my pizza arrives at barely room temperature and the crust has become so soggy that the box almost fell apart. The pizza itself was loaded high with vegetables, so that was good, but I had to reheat it in the oven first. I'm open to going to the restaurant in-person and trying their pizza again (when its actually fresh from the oven), but I absolutely won't order from here again. read more

Went to buy some zepoles. I notice that the guy wasn't using gloves as he was serving and taking money. I actually was trying to observe how he opens the bag to put the zepoles in but I was blocking someone's path and when I turned around to move out of the persons way I didn't get to see how he actually open the bag I wanted to make sure that it wasn't with his bare hands. well after eating the zepoles and that was the only thing I ate all day at around 7pm I ate it went to bed around 10:00pm and now I'm up at 3:10 am with food poisoning so that means he used his hands to open the bag or they don't use safe practices when preparing the food. There is a very polite Mexican guy there very very nice he's the only on with gloves on but the person I went to had no gloves on and I noticed that he was frowning at everybody he was a young Caucasian kind of rude guy could have been Italian I don't know but it was his expression and his manner that told me he didn't like being there around he kind act dismissive. Anyway I am waiting for it to get a little later so I can make a food poisoning complaint with 311. I will never ever go back there even if I didn't get food poisoning I wouldn't go back because of the hate that I saw coming from that worker and that fact that we didn't wear gloves while serving food and taking money. read more

It's a cash-only place, and my order was ready in about ten minutes. The Grandma slice was quite dense, with a cracker-like crust. It tasted okay, but I wasn't sold on it and ended up leaving it in the box. The white slice was a bit better--with a crispy crust and a strong garlic flavor I really enjoyed. My son said his pepperoni slice was alright, nothing extraordinary. The service was friendly, and I'm glad I finally got to try one of New York's iconic pizza spots.

The individuals I support are on limited incomes and cannot afford meals from establishments such as yours, so they bring their own lunches while staff members purchase food and beverages from your business. A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.

The pizza here is decent but not the best, especially for Brooklyn. They don't offer much variety and basically only have plain cheese or pepperoni slices on display or for sale most of the time. It is however, one of the only places to get italian ices over the summer and those are pretty good. read more
