This is close to home and a great place to pick up a pizza. Unfortunately they don't serve the full menu as their Navarre location.

Service - a little different this time. You still order at the counter and they bring the pizza and plates to you. This time the manager on duty actually came out and checked on us to see if the pizza was ok. Then she came out again to see if we were satisfied. Ambiance- the same clean and neat. Tables were not sticky.

We ordered the mighty meathead pizza and it was delicious. If we order meat pizza, I definitely like it to have more meat and cheese and for me, that is exactly what was delivered. When we got to the restaurant to pick up our pizza while the restaurant itself was slow there were a lot of people waiting on to go orders. Service was as efficient as it could be given the amount of people waiting. I'm not sure if I would want to eat there being that there was not really a lot of ambiance that I could see but at the same time the pizza was delicious so I'm not sure if it would make a difference either way. I would recommend getting pizza from Santino's and would go back if I'm in the area again.

They did warn me that the parking lot was super busy and to bring a runner for the pizza pick up which was much appreciated because the parking lot was indeed a zoo. Plates, napkins, and Red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese were included and the total for the 3 pies was around $90. So, a little pricey for the convenience of grabbing pizza while on the beach. Would order from here again while visiting Pensacola Beach.

Over the phone they sounded BUSY and that was confirmed once we arrived to pick up our order. Staff was extremely friendly and our food had just gotten boxed up when we got there so their wait time estimates were spot on. The food.... Our Calzones were fine. They had chopped spinach (we assumed they'd be whole leaf) and it overwhelmed the calzone (IMO). Spinach flavor was all we could really taste. Their marinara was good, definitely helped with the strong spinach flavor. The breadsticks were not good, seemily cooked dough with granular garlic powder dumped on them. No one cared for these, there marinara couldn't even help save those things. The spaghetti and meatballs were a hit with the kids (minus the chunky tomatoes). Our girls finished this with compliments to the chef. I would like to try their pizza to see how it is but we were not impressed enough with what we ordered to try their food again. Florida just struggles with good pizza from our experience, we are very spoiled living in such a strong pizza area. I would definitely recommend trying this place and I hope your personal experience is better than the one We had.

If iced coffee is listed as an option, it would help if the staff were more familiar with how to prepare it. Our server had to come back and ask for clarification, and what I received felt more like a flavored iced coffee with a shot rather than a true iced double espresso. I also had to add my own cream, which made it seem like hot coffee might be more their specialty. The food itself was solid, though a bit on the pricey side. The scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast were decent. The poached egg with salmon on grilled eggplant and arugula was tasty, and the home fries were a standout--unexpectedly excellent. Service was attentive and kind throughout, which I appreciated. However, the wait time after ordering was noticeably long, and there was a 3% convenience charge for using a debit card, which was noted on the receipt. I don't typically give less than 4 stars, but this feels like a place that could easily improve with some small adjustments.
