I was a bit disappointed... my friends have kept recommending this place. The salad really didn't taste super fresh. I'm bummed out :(

10/9/23 5:35pm usually my time at this salad and go is pretty nice. however, the last couple of times they have messed up my salad, not a big deal. but today, i had some more trouble than usual. i got a roasted autumn with no pecans no parmesan no romaine add spinach and avocado before i came into work. i looked at my salad and frowned when i saw the parmesan. usually not a big deal but i have picked up a vegan lifestyle and this puts a dent in it. since i couldn't leave work, i had my dad go and tell them my situation. i called them five times and not one answer. they asked for my salad back, which he was unable to provide them with and eventually they gave my dad another salad which he then brought to me. if all was well with my salad i would not be writing this review. they filled my salad with romaine and put the spinach on top to cover the romaine. i will end up eating this salad but i am quite disappointed in the poor customer service they provided to my family tonight. do better salad and go. read more

This is the best salads & Value! Lots of variety and combinations.Excellent service,fast! If they can improve their patio more tables,chairs maybe a fan will be even better! Love their Instagram adds and new menu items.They removed some items from the breakfast menu that were awesome please bring it back at least for a season. I don't review many places, but Salad and Go is worthy of a 5 star review. -Drive thru is FAST! Sometimes there is a line all the way to the main road, and still you get through so quickly. -Service is always friendly, prompt and precise. -You can't beat the price. Seriously. I often get 2-3 salads at a time and keep them in my fridge. 3 days of lunches for less than $20. -Their lemonade is one of the best I've tasted. Tart, just how a good lemonade should be. And it's $1!!! They also have $1 cold brew, but as a coffee snob, I won't order again. It's so watery, not great at all. -The buffalo chicken salad is to die for. The chicken is coated in buffalo sauce and when you shake the salad up with the creamy dressing (I get ranch) the sauce and dressing mix and it's killer. -today I finally tried their seasonal Thai chicken salad. The peanut dressing is super good. I would only suggest they add won-ton sticks or something for a crunchy element. Panera has a great Thai salad that has roasted edamame, and it unfortunately beats the Salad and Go Thai. Still good though. -$5.74 for most salads!! -they are HUGE. Really filling portions -I wish they would bring back the Apple and greens salad. With Steak and the balsamic dressing it was a huge favorite of mine. Maybe we will see it again. As you can see, I'm a big fan. Highly recommend salad and go. So glad they are opening new locations! read more

Giving 5 stars for ther salads and convenience. Salads are decent sized and tasty. Love the convenience of this place. Its great for a quick and healthy lunch. Giving 2 stars for the Kids turkey wrap...or should I say lettuce wrap. Its all lettuce and 1 thinly sliced piece of turkey. We do love the banana pinwheels though. I honestly love this place so much. Many days, I don't have a ton of time for a lunch break. I enjoy being able to stop over at Salad and Go and getting a healthy lunch within minutes from the drive-thru. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed and fun. It's completely outdoor seating which is perfect for a nice spring day. My current favorites are the Cobb and Seasonal Greens but I have yet to find a salad I don't like. I'd definitely recommend Salad and Go! My dog is even a fan since he always get a little pup treat when he comes with. :) read more

Stopped in for breakfast this morning and ordered a Quinoa Berry Breakfast Bowl sans the berries and it was amazing. I requested they add a drizzle honey and I really enjoyed every bite! Quality ingredients, phenomenal recipe for sweet quinoa and the delicious peanut butter topping made this a dish you really need to try! I plan on stopping by tonight to try the quinoa and sweet potato salad. Love this place!!! Oh ... And once everyone at the office got a look at my breakfast and stuck their greedy little spoons in for a taste, I now have orders to pick up for them tomorrow! Nice little place added to Gilbert. Took me a while to get over here to try it, but glad I did. Menu selection is decent, they are quick, staff is friendly and portions are pretty big. When I am not in the mood for fried, greasy food for lunch, this is definitely my go-to. I hope they keep adding different things to their menu, other than that 5 stars! read more

Show my grandson and I walk up to the kiosk and order two salads and a drink Wichita about 5 minutes. Then after swiping the card 10 times which is a card I use every day and have used since I left salad and go it kept telling me get couldn't read so we wait in line at the window for 10 more minutes and I explained to the lady our orders in the kiosk but it won't take the car to be towed oh you'll have to get in your vehicle and go through the drive-thru. I am upgrading my review. The Greek salad is greatly improved! Kalamata olives have been added and the salad dressing is better----when they remember to include my "on the side" order, that is. That is the only reason for the lack of one star. When you order your dressing on the side, you believe it will be there when you open the bag! Where do I begin! This is my go to healthy drive thru spot. It's affordable, salads all go for less than $10 and will leave you full. The line is never too long of a wait. The positive: The salads are fresh. However, on two occasions I asked for double shrimp on the salads. I actually went home and weighed all the shrimp on my kitchen scale. Both times only 4.5 ounces and 4.7 ounces instead of 6 ounces. I don't know if they are just winging it, but when you pay extra for double, you should get extra. The wraps I have been disappointed in. Their Asian one was so wet the wrap was soggy and the dressing inside leaked all over the front of my dress Not pleasant having to go back to work like that. Also on the salads, the little extras like peanuts or olives, are such tiny amounts that I end up asking for extra and paying for it. I tried this place 4 times, and will not be in a hurry to go back. read more

Fast Food can't be any more healthy and great tasting than Salad and Go. I live in Tempe AZ and will travel to Gilbert to get a couple of salads to go and bowel of their chicken corn chowder. Most excellent experience when we want to eat in but not cook. I think the Chicken Corn Chowder is a must try. They have other sites in the valley now and building more so look them and stay away from McDonald's. read more

I stop here fairly regularly on my way to work, because they open early. I pick up a salad for my lunch, and they are always so contentious about putting the dressing on the side (you can get it tossed with the dressing if you like) and putting any crunchy tortilla strips or croutons in a baggie if you want so that they don't get soggy before lunchtime. They are very accommodating if you ask for different types of lettuce or want to have all spinach. They use local and organic produce when possible, and genuinely care about customer satisfaction.
