Five star review for Salad and Go. I love the menu (always get Buffalo Ranch salad with chicken and no pico de gallo!). I have also enjoyed their cold-brew coffee that they make to order (almond milk and vanilla flavoring for me) as well as fresh lemonade. Delicious, expedient and the prices are amazing. The staff is so friendly and they do a great job. I have never had messed up order and they are always fast (knock on wood!) I love this company and have visited other locations as well: Cactus store, Bethany Home store. They are all GREAT. But the one on Cave Creek is my home! We love salad and go, love everything you guys are doing with inexpensive healthy alternatives, fair wages for employees, etc. Food is great and for the most part your service good. They're never overly enthusiastic but they're always nice enough. I am self admittedly high maintenance. I'm a super picky eater and I know it. But I'm always very polite, accommodating and more than happy to pay for anything extra I want. Whoever was on your drive thru today is apparently not down with that because she was extremely rude while I was ordering. I asked how she was before I ordered, because I work in food service and I like to be a decent person, she seemed annoyed even with that. Ordered my salad, with extra dressing and croutons, add cucumbers. Then I ordered my husbands salad, switched the type of dressing and got extra dressing, which is where she snapped at me the first time. No big deal maybe I'm a bigger pain in the butt than I know, I don't work here and I don't know how annoying it is to modify the salads. But then my husband wanted a side of their pesto something and she snapped at me for ordering that. Told me there would be a charge. I was like dang, okay. I was literally anticipating being charged for both extra dressings and the cucumbers already because that is generally how things work in restaurants when you add things on. I got my food from someone else at the window, he was cool, threw $5 in the tip jar and went on my way. You could hear the annoyance in her voice at everything I said and if she reads this I'm super sorry you had a bad day or whatever happened. But fear not, we will still frequent salad and go, but we will drive 20 minutes out of the way to hassle the employees at Paradise Valley with our extra dressings because your attitude is atrocious. read more

I have eaten their salads at this location twice. First time it was excellent and this time I decided to try to order online to save waiting so long in line. There were over 10 cars in line waiting to order. The order was scheduled for a 11:05 pickup and I arrived there at 11:07. Walked to the pick-up window and as advised by the sign at the window, pushed the bell/buzzer button. After waiting 5 minutes and no one coming to the window I pushed it again, this time waiting only 3 minutes. Still nothing. Oh and its 104 degrees outside... Finally knocked on the window (you see they refuse to give you a phone number to call, so no other way) and waited several minutes. Nothing... so did it AGAIN and finally someone comes to the window "What do you want?" Boy, great customer service! I ask her what is going on with the bell/buzzer and her reply is "I do not know" like she really cared! I show her the receipt and she reaches into the cooler and pulls out my order. I get to the car and the drink is wrong but I give up and left to go give the salad a try. It was ok but after this experience very well may not return! read more

I have to say I typically don't eat salads cuz they're overpriced and not that good. At this facility I am always surprised at the amount of solid and how delicious they make them an innovative they are with having mostly salads as the only options on the menu they definitely do a top-notch job Justice is mouth-watering and savory in every bite. I have definitely found my new favorite fast food with a healthy option and delicious taste at a very reasonable price. First time coming here, wow are they speedy! No wonder why it's called Salad and Go. They live up to the name. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, and a cold brew coffee. The salad is phenomenal with premium ingredients and large portion size too! The cold brew wasn't bad but I believe it was my mistake ordering it thinking it would be sweet. I did sweeten it up after I got home so it wasn't that bad. Next time I stop again I will have to post a picture ! read more

I like the healthy food alternative and the price and the speed. My one and only problem with this place is the plastic. The containers are quite big and sturdy but more landfill/ocean pollution. I used to recycle them, but the word is out plastic isn't and never was recycled. I reuse the containers as much as possible (another upside) but I don't feel good about going there seeing what is left to be thrown away. read more

While I love Salad and Go as a whole, I do not recommend this specific location. The people are generally friendly but they always mess up my order. Every. Damn. Time. You'd think I'd learn my lesson by now to check my order before driving away, but on several occasions I have had to drive back to get the correct item or pick up what was missing. Luckily I live within 5 minutes of here, however this is still extremely annoying to do with 3 kids in the car. Just today, as I pulled away from the drive thru, we realized we were missing 2 of the 3 lemonades we ordered. Had to pull around and park and go to the mobile order pickup window to get them. Drove all the way home to eat and then realized they didn't put my dressing in my salad container and the chicken I requested on the side was missing. The time before this, I received an ice cold minestrone soup. How does that even happen with no one noticing the temperature! She handed it to me and I immediately knew something was off because the cup was not warm or hot at all. I really think that cup of soup I got was sitting out on the counter all day because how did she immediately bring me a new hot cup of soup if this one that I assume came from the same pot of soup, was cold. Anyways, once I got back in the car with a new hot soup, I go to eat my salad and it's covered in the chicken I requested on the side. I don't eat meat or else this error wouldn't be a big deal. So once again, I had to get out of the car to get a new salad. While they have always been accommodating to fix these errors, it doesn't excuse the fact that this happens every single time. I can overlook these kind of errors here and there because I know mistakes happen, but there is clearly a training/employee issue at this specific location. I can't emphasize this enough, my order is incorrect every freaking time! Never had these issues at any other Salad and Go I've been to around the valley. read more

This is a new food option in my area so I had to give it a try. For this visit, I skipped the salad and went for the chicken pot pie soup. This soup was easily among the best chicken soups that I've ever had. The consistency and flavor were amazing. The soup is loaded with chicken, potatoes, and veggies. I wish that I could have given Salad and Go 5 stars, but they get dinged for not having a single trash can on the property. After finishing lunch, I had to drive with my empty soup cup and used spoon in toe. Also, I think it's odd they don't have any tables or seating of any kind outside considering the massive size of their property. read more

I've been looking forwards to trying Salad and Go since I saw them building it, and I must say I couldn't be happier to have such a healthy fast food option minutes from my house! The lines move super fast even though theyre rather long, but OMG the salad! I did not expect the salads to be so large, but they're HUGE! You certainly get your bang for your buck, thats for sure. I almost had a tough time finishing it in one sitting! Not to mention how delicious they are! They dont skimp you on any ingredients whatsoever, and everything was super fresh and crisp. The price point is right in line with other fast food options, so this is definitely where I'll be going and spending my money from now on! $6 for a salad this size (that could easily feed two people) is a win in my book! read more

This location I have been to several times. Each time they rush you so fast you can't even check your food. This time I checked and turned around because my order was messed up. I love the food - my review is in regard to customer service/efficiency. I ordered two salads and needed to order one more, realizing after I paid. I loop around to the mobile order window as I thought this would be quicker since there were two cars in line. I place the order and knock on the window to let them know I was the order for Crystal that was just placed and I would be waiting so they could hand it to me whenever it's ready. Her response was "it takes 10 minutes to show up in our system so we can't start your order until then" and I was confused. I showed her my order. If I'm already here why can't you start it? I told her it was only one salad and she was hesitant but then said she could start it. Then she comes back and says "my manager said you have to wait 15 minutes because we have other orders put in before yours" which, I'm understanding about. But I'm sitting here waiting at the window and see 5 employees in there, nobody in the drive through anymore, and the woman that I spoke to was on her phone texting. The Greek Salad was good, but I noticed a limited menu in comparison to the other locations. What really blew my mind though was that there's no wrap option!!! To me, the convenience and genius of Salad and Go was in the ability to eat while on the go (as the name states). This restaurant is exactly as the name describes. They have what seems to be premade salads and they just add whatever additions you require. For a salad place it really doesn't have very healthy options, especially for people who are trying to eat low carb. My wife just visited the location on cave creek and had a horrible experience. English is not her first language but speaks it well. When trying to order the worker Maria could not understand right away so my wife talked clearer and they got the order but when asked if she want utensils she didn't understand so the worker Maria used a very rude tone saying one word at a time being very insulting to her. When we got to the counter she asked who she was taking to and they just said Maria but she wouldn't come talk to her and just made her coworker say sorry.I can't believe that still in 2021 there are bigoted people in this world and worst in the service industry. We were in the parking lot of the Salad and Go at the 101 and Cave Creek Rd attempting to order 2 salads. I was using the website and my husband the app. Neither worked. Every time I tried to order it told me there were NO Salad and Go near me!!! Come on we were sitting in the parking lot!!! Also, my husband tried to order me the Winter salad with tofu from the app but although the menu said chicken, or tofu, he was unable to do that. He also had major problems trying to order anything from the app as items would not go through. We just quit trying and left. We are removing salad n go from our favorites. The salads used to be of the highest quality and full of flavor but not anymore. The greens are now full of the white thick romaine lettuce ribs which have no flavor and shouldn't be served. The rest of the ingredients are of lesser quality as well. Salads no longer burst with flavor. Should have seen this coming with new ownership. The food is still healthier than Burger King next door hence two stars read more
