Stopped at this location after leaving Costco for some lunch. I ordered the jalapeño ranch salad and added blue cheese crumbles . Also had an Arnold Palmer with black tea. My salad was yummy. The cashier was nice but shaky for some reason. It was like she either had too much caffeine or was going through withdrawals. Obviously not sure which one. I have always liked salad and go for its convenience and cheap prices, but this is not the first or even second time I have found a bug in my salad. I used to go here all the time but recently the quality and service is down hill. I got a chicken caesar salad and the salads used to be filled to the top with plenty of chicken and parm but now they are filled half way with 4 pieces of chicken. The employees don't say a word to you and when you order it's almost like you are bothering them. Unfortunately, whenever I order a chicken Caesar wrap, there's literally three tiny pieces of chicken in it and tons of croutons. There was one day where they ran out of croutons so they put extra chicken in, which was great. Please please if you are the manager do something about this problem. This place is located on the West side of Cave Creek Rd, South of the Burger King and North of 101. The entrance off Cave Creek is very narrow. This place is just of drive through or pickup, emphasizing the "and Go." We ordered and went through the drive through and both ways were efficient. The lemonades, blueberry basil (see photo) and cucumber mint were excellent. The protein box for $3.99 is not a bad deal for a snack (see photo). Salad and Go has been my go to for a quick lunch. This particular location happened to be the closest from my office and I come here often. Be sure to order online prior to your arrival as drive through queue tends to get very long especially during lunch hour. Order is always ready in the time they promised and pick up window allows you to skip drive through line. They have two online order parking right next to the pick up window. It's usually quick in and out. It's so nice to be able to eat fresh salad at my desk for a quick lunch. read more

I just wanted to write this review to give this location props. I've been here many times over the years and every single time I am satisfied. I love the breakfast burritos, the salads, the wraps, especially the cheap cold brew!! Service is always prompt and fast through the drive thru and I've never once thought coming to this location over the years that the service was bad. I've heard a few people rave about salad and go and surprised I hadn't been at all until today! I ordered it online for pick up and got a Greek wrap with tofu and no olives. I had avocado added to it too. I also got a mango green tea which was refreshing! This place is well priced, everything all together was less than $10. The wrap was pretty good but I wasn't a huge fan of the tortilla, also there were a couple yucky parts on the avocado. Also just personal preference but I wish they cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Can't imagine anyone giving this place less than 5 stars. The ingredients are always so fresh and cost effective. My salad is always $6-$7. Each menu item is coded as gluten free or vegan. It's a drive thru or walk up to order from the kiosk. Kind of feels weird the 1st you order but it's super fast and efficient! There's no dining area. I always get the Cobb salad and it's always so good. Adding Chicken to the salad is an extra .74! I will say I have tried the chia pudding and it has made me sick twice but obviously I'm not blaming them. There may be some ingredient in it I can't digest but being celiac I thought I should throw it out there. The organic coffee is only $1 and they will put some almond milk in there for you. I go there probably 2-3X a week!! The workers are fast and efficient. I don't need any small talk. I'm been so impressed with the way Salad and Go has operated during these CV times. They were the 1st drive through that implemented employee face mask and all the other temperature testing and cleaning. I'm so appreciative of their policies and of course their healthy food options. I was just about to place an order when I realized they raised their prices BY ALOT! The Caesar salad went from $6.79 to $7 which isn't worth it imo BUT the worst is the Cobb Salad going from $6.79 to $7.75! 96 cents increase in just a couple days. The Caesar salad wasn't really worth it for $6.79 but I would get it for the lower calories. But the cobb salad was great at $6.79 but I have no idea how they can justify quietly raising it it almost a a dollar because I didn't see it mentioned anywhere that they are going to raise prices. read more

It's in the parking lot with a Burger King so I usually have to loudly tell my family we're NOT getting French fries but that's the only drawback to going to Salad and Go. I love this place. It's usually so expensive to eat healthy but here we can give the whole family healthy food for the same price as any fast food place. My "go to" order is whatever their seasonal salad is. Some days I get my kids the protein boxes. Other days they do the kids salads. Their $1 cold brew is unbeatable. Honestly, I could probably split every meal in half, they're so plentiful, which would make each meal half the price of fast food but way healthier. Sooooo disappointing. I left a 3 star review for another location a while back. I expressed my disappointment with the change in the breakfast potatoes, the stingy amount of salad dressing and salsa they give you, and the Asian flavors of the tofu which clash with all the salads except for the Thai one. I haven't returned to Salad and Go since. This morning, I decided to give them another try. I thought the breakfast/lunch bundle was a good deal so I ordered that using their app, with a jalapeno ranch salad with tofu and breakfast burrito with avocado instead of bacon. I got there right when the order was supposed to be ready. Waited around about 10 additional minutes for my order. I get home, do a couple quick chores, and then get ready to eat my breakfast burrito. I don't see salsa anywhere. I open my salad in case they stuck the packet in there. I didn't find salsa there but guess what I did find in my salad with tofu? Bacon. So I call the store. Me: Hello, I just picked up an order and there is bacon in my salad and no salsa for my breakfast burrito. S&G employee: let me look up your order... You ordered a jalapeno ranch salad. It comes with bacon. Me: I didn't know that. If I saw that on the app, I would of taken it off. I'm a vegetarian. Which is why I ordered tofu on my salad and not meat. And substituted avocado for bacon in my breakfast burrito. S&G employee: well it should be on the app. When people call in person to order, we tell them there is bacon if they are vegetarian. Me: okaaaay. Awesome.... And then there was no salsa packet for my burrito. S&G employee: sorry. *Silence* Me: okay, great. Thanks, bye! I throw my salad away (my husband is gone for the day otherwise I'd give it to him) and proceed to try to eat my salsa-less burrito. The potatoes still suck, the eggs were rubbery, and parts of the tortilla were hard, which I suspect is because they microwave either the tortilla or the whole burrito. And dry AF because no salsa. I eat half and throw the rest away. This is so NOT how to do customer service. My first experience was terrific with a delicious fresh Greek Salad with Chicken and a Lemonade!! The ingredients were fresh, generous helpings, and amazing prices!! The whole meal was under $9!! This is a pretty slick and painless system for takeout healthy food of good quality at a reasonable price. I just ordered my first Salad and Go today! From the app, it took only a few seconds. When I stopped to pick up, I got an online parking space right in front of the walk-up window. I had my food and was gone in 3 minutes. Of course, there were five cars in the drive-thru but I was second at the walk-up window. I love the concept, and look forward to exploring the menu. I think you could make it greener by having compostable containers for the salads. I had the harvest salad with added chicken, dining companion had the antipasto. I've eaten here only a few times. Each time I've gone I've gotten either the Roasted Autumn or BBQ Ranch salad and its always been delicious. The staff is very quick and with how much customization you can do, I've never had any issues with my orders. It seems like a well oiled salad making machine. The pricing is great and I like that you can select no utensils when you order. The only downside, is that although its salad, its not the "healthiest." Be careful if you're on a low sodium diet or really just anyone trying to be healthy. Just about all of the salads put you at or over the recommend daily sodium intake. Made an online order for a greek salad and a cobb salad. Both were made incorrectly. In fact, I was not even given the greek salad and extras ordered and the cobb salad did not have ordered extra and had blue cheese which had been specifically required to remove due to allergies. Shame on me for not checking onsite, but found out when I got home. When returning to request a refund, the location stated they don't do refunds, you have to contact their corporate office. Contacted their corporate office and after 4 email and providing them the receipt they offered a refund, but shorted the amount that was on the receipt. It seems that if you have any issue, you have to go to their corporate center and they don't provide the total refund. Bottom line. Trust but verify. Open up every bag you get and make sure you have received what you paid for as you will not get all your money back later if the order is incorrect. If it causes delays in their drive-up, understand that others are verifying their order to be correct before they drive off. read more

I am typically not a big fan of chain restaurants, but Salad and Go is locally-based (AZ) and has been completely successful in providing reasonably priced, healthful, fast food! Just under six dollars for all salads, with chicken! I love the ease of the menu and the seasonal menu refresh. I even ordered a wrap the other day that I could kind of eat on the road. I at least ate @ 1/2 of it at stop lights that satisfied my hunger, and I put the rest in a bowl when I got home for another meal.
