Apparently Salad & Go offers Kiddie Burritos..
    Valerie S.

I don't believe there's a such thing as a kiddie salad wrap or kiddie salad on the menu, although if there were; I am sure both were given to me. This was my first time visiting this location. The staff over the intercom was kind even though clarification of communication was a miss for me; I still appreciated the fact that the gal stayed happy in her tone. That meant a lot. As for the gal who exchanged payment- she was verbally short & didn't seem to want to hear anything I had to explain that it was my first time at their location and only 2nd time visiting the Salad & Go Franchise as a whole. As I began to apologize for trying to navigate the menu because it was dirty and difficult to see on my end - she stopped me and said, "I didn't take your order"... while she quickly closed the window. I patiently waited for my order in the drive-thru. As she gave me my bag she had a very bland and "now get out of my drive-thru line demeanor".. I thanked her even though she was short with me. She basically told me there was a survey on my receipt and quickly closed the drive-thru window once more time.. Upon arriving home - I opened the bag & noticed little to no salad. I ordered a Thai Salad & a Thai Wrap. Both were inadequate and appeared missing ingredients: "The Rest of The Salad".. I don't think I have ever experienced this going to Panera, Chipotle or any other restaurant that offers salads so to see how small and sad these were, left me knowing that I will definitely will never go to Salad & Go again. If you see the salad bowl and burrito - you too would wonder if this needs a class action suit. As what I understand- This IS NOT what was advertised... Can someone say industry gouging and false advertisement? I wonder how many times this has happened to other consumers. What a tragedy.. I want a 50% refund.. Judge for yourself: See Photos.

Caesar chicken salad with extra chicken :)

It's my first time trying this place and my boyfriend ordered us a Caesar chicken salad with extra chicken. Got the greens, creaminess from the dressing, moist delicious chicken and the perfect crunch texture - to die for!!! Ingredients tasted fresh and everything blended together in harmony. I'll come back to try different salads along with their ice coffee hehe Service was quick pace - definitely living up to "Salad and Go" lol! Ambiance is causal.

Super hard pieces of the wrap that feel off.

I use to visit about once a week, I loved being able to get tasty veggies and a great portion size back when they were only $5.75. Slowly this location has gone down hill. Half the time I get amazing food and a great portion size, other half the time somethings wrong, from very wilted lettuce, very old tortillas, or ridiculously small portion size. I get disappointed and tell myself to not go back, but then I do, hoping it will better. My last two visits have been bad ones First was a tortilla on the wrap was so brittle, like how did the worker manage to wrap that? And worse, think it was okay to serve someone? My latest order was so very thin, maybe half cup of lettuce. I really wish the consistency was better at this location.

They messed up my order and laughed about it in my face and didn't care to even fix it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

We actually followed the owners here after frequenting their previous coffee shop, En Route. When they opened New Penny, supporting them was an easy decision. The café is thoughtfully divided into two distinct spaces: a family-friendly dining area and a lounge-style bar area geared more toward adults. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. There are house-made dishes, local merchandise, a shaded patio, and plenty of charm throughout. My wife's favorites are the Breakfast Totchos and the Acai Bowl. Personally, I am also a loyal Breakfast Totchos fan. As for drinks, the Copper Coin and the legendary Cowboy Latte are both worth ordering. What truly sets New Penny apart, however, is the people. The owners and staff have created a space that feels inclusive, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the community. Support local businesses. Better yet, support local businesses that are doing things the right way. Get to know the owners. Get to know the staff. Places like New Penny don't just serve food and coffee--they create gathering places. Whether you're meeting a friend, taking a business meeting, enjoying a date, or simply looking for a quiet place to sit by yourself, New Penny delivers. One of my favorite local businesses, and one that my family will continue to support.

There is a sign on the door. I never read it because I have been eating here and having meetings and telling the whole community about the great food and great service. My grandson has a medically documented sensory and texture disorder that restricts his food options. On this particular visit, we brought chicken nuggets to accommodate his dietary needs. The waitress informed us that outside food was prohibited and must remain in a bag. Despite explaining his medical condition and my status as a regular patron, the situation escalated when I spoke with the owner. I acknowledge that I became vocal about my patronage and expenditures at the establishment. One year later, I remain committed to informing my community about this experience. Having worked in the restaurant industry for over twenty years, I am familiar with the principle of reasonable accommodation for customers' needs. Rather than seeking a mutually acceptable solution, the establishment chose to enforce policy rigidly. This approach demonstrated a lack of consideration for children with special needs. I have discontinued my patronage and actively discourage others, particularly those who understand special needs challenges, from dining at Country Griddle. For a decade, we have served special needs families, understanding that dietary accommodations prevent additional trauma. My grandson apologized for the incident, which I assured him was not his responsibility. The fundamental issue remains that Country Griddle prioritized policy enforcement over compassionate customer service, even when a simple exception could have resolved the matter.

He brought us our food, I saw him behind the bar, and even bussing tables. He, too, was friendly & smiley. Cocktails: they had a great selection but we went with plain ol' Cokes. That's okay, we'll partake of their boozy drinks when we visit again. Food: parmesan truffle fries were aah-mazing. I even told Esmerelda they should add a pizza with the garlic aioli. The buffalo mozzarella had a bit of a kick to the sauce; we could have used more toasted bread to dip into it. We ordered the heaven and bianca pizzas. The crust was thinner than normal, which I was happy about, and the flavors of both were delicious. Dessert: despite not finishing the appetizers & pizza (no worries, we thoroughly enjoyed the leftovers!), we opted for a gelato flight. It was divine, and hefty samples. You wouldn't think 4 oz was much, but of gelato, it was plenty. We selected chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel, and mango. If you haven't tried Roma 23, I highly recommend it. When we did manage to get in, we ordered a glass of pinot noir and Pelligrino to drink. The waitress brought out a glass of white wine and insisted this was their pinot noir... even the bartender confirmed. So the staff is NOT wine savvy, I wouldn't trust their recommendations on pairings here either. They didn't have any Pelligrino left, so I ended up getting an arnold palmer. However, when they brought the check out, the Pelligrino was still on the tab and we had to ask them to take it off. We both got pasta, the lasagna and the chicken masala, and a caesar salad. The noodles tasted like it was made in house, which was nice. Chicken was not overly breaded and the sauce was light. The salad had too much cheese but I think some people just like that on their salad. I'm interested to try their pizza at some point in the future, assuming we can make it in time before they close ;)
