Tried their Asian salad and pastrami sandwich. First. Rubio made my sandwich so good that I finished the whole sandwich.. Their pastrami sandwich is better than Sequoia. The pastrami was well spiced and blended. The bread was so good and the combination of mayo and mustard was not over powering. The pastrami dominated my sandwich. The salad was great.big portions and all the veggies are just enough to file your up. The owner Richard went to your table and introduced himself and thank us for trying his restaurant. First of all the staff is always friendly. They are ready to explain anything I need to know. I always feel like they have super fresh ingredients. I often start with the Caesar salad, and then occasionally add an extra ingredient or two! The Caesar salad is served with Cilantro pepita dressing which is very delicious. Sometimes I ask for the chipotle ranch instead. If you are not sure which dressing you want, they will give a little sample. That's how I discovered the chipotle ranch! The other day I saw a worker making a huge wrap. It looked really good! I like that they offer specialty salads and wraps. The salads can be turned into a wrap. They also let you choose/make your own salad or wrap. The shop is cozy and has a relaxed vibe. There are some tables inside where you can sit and enjoy your salad...or wrap. They also have sandwiches, smoothies, and a kids menu. Portions are generous in my opinion. Check them out at Rosedale and Calloway next to Moms House. read more

When this place first opened up and the owner and his wife were running it it was great! They offered samples, asked if everything was ok. Two young girls work the front now and I always order a small salad and I asked if I could have a little more romaine considering they put two pieces of spring mix. When I asked the response was "those are our measurements" one, how is that your measurement if you're grabbing it with your hand, there's no definitive way you're measuring it. Secondly, all of the other workers would grab a small pinch of more romaine. I asked if i could pay for the pinch more and she said that she would charge me for a large. Update: I ordered another salad from here again. One of the best I've ever had. I got pesto chicken this time instead of plain and it made such a difference. Really, really good. ANDDDDD they sent more dressing so there was enough for this HUMONGOUS salad!!! Everything is super fresh. I don't like change and usually prefer the same things over and over, but I decided to try something new and added strawberries and I got a raspberry ranch. Super delicious. Tried this "new" place after reading some Yelp reviews. Didn't know it was here till recently. It such a nice change from all the Mexican, Chinese and fast food restaurants this city has! We've been on a vegan kick when not eating at home and this is a very nice change. Had the ahi tuna salad. They gave me more tuna here than at BJs. My hubby had the salmon salad and our "small" size salads were perfect for us. Definitely returning, the service was quick and the staff very friendly. Even took two smoothies to go! A friend recommended this place and I'm so glad I tried it. Reasonable prices and lots of homemade foods. I've been trying something new every time I go. My favorite is a large salad with bacon, which they warm on the grill. They have delicious homemade soup which change daily, today I got Poblano Soup with shredded cheddar cheese and croutons. It was absolutely delicious. I love their homemade drinks, Jamaica, Horchata, and Lemon Water with Chia Seeds. I've loved every single thing that I have tried. Every time I have gone, I've had the same server and she's always been wonderful and has great recommendations. She's the best server you could ever ask for, I wish I would have asked her name! Today, she told me that they are a family business and some of the recipes are her Grandma's or her Mom's. That makes me want to support this local business even more. Steer clear of this restaurant if you're craving a good salad. We ordered two and did not like the overall flavor nor freshness. I had tofu added and it was completely flavorless because they serve it uncooked, not marinated and not seasoned. The fountain drink machine and iced tea dispenser appeared outdated. And the styrofoam to-go containers were extremely flimsy. Overall service was average at best. read more
