Tried this place for the first time with my sister who was visiting from out of town. Very friendly employees. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. The large salad IS very large... had some leftovers to take home. :-) My sister noted however that our salads were not the same amount (hers was larger/more ingredients) so I'm guessing it may just depend on who is constructing your salad. Been here a few times. As a foodie you don't crave or think too much about a salad or a wrap. Was honestly surprised how good this place was. The owner was very nice and welcoming and so were the staff. Loved that the portions are huge and don't skimp out on protein but also the price is kinda steep as well for a salad/wrap place. Other than that everything was light and fresh. Have almost tried everything and so far there isn't anything bad I've tried. You can make any salad a wrap as well. A MUST-TRY!!! I was so happy to find this gem on the way to LA. Highway 99 and 5 are littered with Fast food every 20 miles (Carl's Jr, Jack in the Box, Burger King, Wendys, Mcdonalds, etc.), and we were pleased to find a healthier option. So it's like ordering from Subway but with salads, wraps, and sandwiches. They create salads right in front of you. There are many options to choose from for building your salad/sandwich/wap, which made this a bonus find for us. We've all seen the pale-looking veggie options subway has to offer, but salad sensation's ingredients looked fresh. Plus, their juices and smoothies are super tasty. It's a build your own salad bar but the employees make it. There are a lot of options and dressings. I thought the prices were very reasonable as well. They also have horchata and agua frescas. Be prepared bc there's usually a line. Only con would be that if you dine in you will probably smell like grease the rest of the day. Kind of like when someone orders fajitas at Mexican food. They have a small table top griddle where all the meats are cooked. It is just behind where the salads are built. Everyone was great that worked there. This place was excellent, I customized my own salad everything was fresh and they have a vast selection of salad ingredients. I never knew such a place existed in town it's like a subway but for salads. They also offer soups, wraps , sandwiches and signature salads. My co worker had the chicken taco salad and he loved it he said it was great. The service was excellent the people were friendly and everything was was well packaged to go. These wraps were pretty good! We got the Santa Fe & Caesar wrap. I really have no major complaints about the food, it was yummy & fresh. The chicken was a bit dry in the Santa Fe wrap. These two wraps were $30 which felt pretty steep but I know times are tough so may just be the new reality. The service was good. I've had this place bookmarked for awhile and finally remembered to check it out for lunch. I was in the mood for a fresh delicious salad and I have to say, I walked into the right place. So this little place is tucked right next to J's Place across from 5 Guys and Rubens. It's pretty easy to find with bright green signage. I walked in and was nicely greeted. She asked if I had been there before and when I said no, she thanked me for coming in and gave me a brief run down of the menu and how the salad bar works. It was simple enough. Pick your greens (4 to chose from), toppings (unlimited), and protein. Where I was the most impressed... the protein options. So they had tofu which was a nice surprise, but they had 3 different kind of chicken options. Chipotle chicken, pesto chicken, and regular chicken. As she was baby steps patiently walking me through the process I think she saw my eyes light up at the chicken options. She quickly offered me samples. I'm not really a sample person. I usually know wish I want and I'm a do it and go type of girl. But I was thrown for a loop and accepted her samples. Both were delicious but chipotle chicken won because of that smokey kick flavor. Than the salad dressings. There were 11 options. Eleven. Again, I was offered samples lol. And again, I accepted. I decided to keep it safe and stuck with chipotle ranch because of the chicken chipotle. As I was being rung up, she gave me a punch card (yayyyy) and than ran off to grab me some coupons. I felt like it was my salad birthday or something. I looked around for a tip jar but didn't see one. Unless I overlooked it. It was a strange feeling. Almost like, oh wow. No tip jar. So they strive to provide top notch service without the expectations of a tip. How refreshing. But on the flip side, I was sad I didn't get to show them how much i appreciated their customer service and wanted to thank them with a tip. I happily skipped out with my salad, punch card, and coupons. I've read other reviews on the price, but I beg to differ on Salad Sensations being over priced. If you go anywhere with quality, a decent salad runs you about $10. My salad did not disappoint in cost or flavor. I barely finished my large salad and I was stuffed. Everything was amazingly fantastic ordered a large salad added chicken. Everything was extremely fresh and the worker was over-the-top helpful and happy. For a salad I would say this was reasonably price and was excited I could make it exactly how I wanted it. They have lots of options for dressings. Went at about 130 in the afternoon on Wednesday they were extremely quick. While sitting there an employee came around with samples of the chicken chowder soup makes me wish I would've ordered some.
