Mini cafe on the corner of 21st & F streets. Came here on a Friday for a quick 30-min lunch break. Love the idea of naming sandwiches and combos after celebrities. Since it was Friday, I had the Richard Pryor which was a cup of tomato soup and a grilled cheese. I'm not really a grilled cheese kinda of person but man.. they got this combo down right over here. Perfectly crisp on the outside and with the creamy tomato soup for the dunks, it was bussin! Might try the Katie Holmes and Om Cruise next time. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Nice quick spot for lunch pickups.

Such a cute and calm space! Very welcoming and warm :) went for the potato soup but there wasn't any that day unfortunately (only served Wednesday's. However I did try their ham sandwich (can't remember the name) but it was soooooo good! I can't remember when was the last time I had a tasty sandwich. Will be coming again.

Service here is so friendly!!!! Adorable store front and the inside is so dang cute!! I passed this place and popped in for a quick breakfast. I was a bit disappointed to see a lack of pastry or morning style food. They do have lots of lunch and sandwiches. Looks like homemade salads, potatoe, macaroni, casaroles. Smells good. But it was too early to try food. A great addition may be some baked goods/breads. Very cute lunch stop. The fruit is very good and ripe. The cookies are outstanding!

While walking through Downtown Bakersfield I stopped at this little sandwich shop. It is quite quaint and the servers are extremely nice. The food, while decent, was not what I was hoping for. I had a Tim Allen sandwich, a bag of chips and a soda. The meat on the sandwich was good, however the bread was very dry and there was very little mayo and mustard. The price for what I received was a little higher than I expected, however not to bad. Overall I have mixed feelings about the shop. I gave four stars because the food was decent and the ladies who work there are great. The part I really liked was how they put olives on the sandwich and they look like eyes.

    The Katie Holmes combo.

Plenty of parking and seating makes this quaint and inviting downtown sandwich shop an easy favorite to frequent. Their sandwich's are cleverly named after celebrities which only adds to the fun. Always fresh and plenty of variety. They even have daily special's making it a special treat to look forward to your weekly favorite. During the week I like the Katie Holmes and on Fridays the Richard Pryor, a special grilled cheese served with tomato soup. I also appreciate that they carry several Zero sodas which isn't yet widely available everywhere. The service is friendly and fast. Give this sandwich shop a try!

Some of the best macaroni salad i've ever had!! No Joke!

Ohhhh damn!!!! Bonni's Best is indeed in my opinion most definitely Best!!! Best damn Deli in town! Wow i can't believe my dumb ass has not been back in so many years what in the hell is wrong with you Tina?? Haha i've no clue but i am so happy i reconnected. I was on my way home from visiting my brother in the hospital a few weeks ago and drove past it downtown and was stopped right next to it at a long ass light Lol so i had nothing else to do but turn my head and see Bonnie's! I thought to myself...Wow i remember how freakin delicious this place was oh you're coming back soon girl ;)... A few days ago i had the absolute pleasure to return and my dumb ass decided on dinner of course they were out of soup, cookies, pasta salad and i'm sure much more it's downtown and i'm sure very busy with the business crowd and courts etc my son was disappointed but in my eyes it's our fault for waiting so late next time baby i'm ordering at open i will have their amazing soups and i am dying to have that pasta salad! Anyway very sweet people here quaint little deli on the corner of 21st st. I got the Dagwood and had them add housemate olive salad to it Huge Beautiful sandwich btw! My god please order that sandwich like that wholly hell it was DIVINE in every way that would make a sandwich Sexy! Yea i said that from the fresh sourdough to the perfectly shaved lettuce to the meats and cheeses this in my mind is the PERFECT sandwich!! I ate it all every last teeny shred of lettuce and all and was craving another haha!! It was THAT good ;)... My son got the Dr Laura Hot Pastrami, pepper jack, mustard, salsa (on the side) lettuce, tomato on Rye He loved it had them hold the tomato because he's allergic to fresh tomato oh they followed special requests with no issues i love that! He has already told me "Mom i will try every single sandwich on that menu!" Haha can you tell we are in love with them? Lol :D Macaroni salad and potato salad great!! I hate bought potato salad most of the time it's ick and sweet and undercooked! No these were made in house and delightful (i can't believe i just said that word haha) but that's the best way to describe them!! Simple, flavourful damn delicious. What surprised me was the kindness i found in my perfectly sealed bag they had told me they were out of most cookies so i didn't order any but really wanted to try them. I open my bag and right on top we're Raspberry filled cookies! I was shocked and so happy to see that...little things like that can really turn your day around and it did mine! And wow they were decadent and tart and soft and just the perfect amount of sweet! Thank You very much that was so kind of you guys :D.... Oh yes i've found MY deli! I will be back soon and way too often Lol but this is what makes me happy kind people and delicious food made with love Boom!! You Guys Rock ;)...

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

We tried a variety of baked goods, the honeycomb bread is sooooo dang good!
