The salad bar is always full and clean as well. i visit during lunch hour and i get right through and have plenty of seats to choose from. This is an amazing salad spot. I'm picky when it comes to salad and my food touching and this place eliminates both. It's got a salad buffet so I can portion out each topping separately and taste as many things as I'm feeling that day. My go to is a dry salad with parmesan, pesto chicken, crab, and their strawberry lemonade. Workers welcome everyone who comes in and ask to chop your salad if desired (Extremely friendly service.) This restaurant has high seating by the windows, outdoor shaded seating and regular tables that are normally available. It's quite the peaceful place to eat a healthy lunch. Full disclosure: I was looking for a place to eat and nearly decided not to go here. I don't know why. Maybe it was the name that didn't grab me. Whatever the case I am very glad I stopped in and it is an automatic favorite for me. For starters - it's a farm to table establishment which Is a great concept. Don't know what that is? Google it! Fresh ingredients with lots of options starting with different types of greens, and every kind of vegetable (including grilled corn!) or bean or meat (hot and cold) or seafood or olives or peppers or fruit or nuts or cheeses and numerous dressings that are not the usual suspects but have some very tasty and sometimes surprising combinations. On top of that there is a hot food bar that has potatoes or macaroni, green beans, a variety of soups etc. I will clearly have to come back on several occasions just to try everything but I would come back anyway because the salad that I started with was delicious and filling and the price was just right and it was worth a repeat performance. I went there today for a late lunch everything was clean and fresh. Not a salad lover but they get my business before any fast food.

I eat at this location often. Sometimes twice a week. Today I was disappointed. I arrived at 11:15 or so and immediately noticed when I walked in, the air was hot inside. The hand sanitizer didn't work. The salad bar was in good shape but I went to try the hot bar today. No bbq meat to put on the potatoes . Ok so I check out the soup. Only 2 were warm bc "they just put them out". Why had you just put them out? The place was supposed to have already been open for an hour. BY this time I was noticing more things messed up. The floors were filthy. It appeared as if they all had just walked into work. The type of consumer I am, I'll go one more time hoping today was a fluke, but if it's nasty again, I won't return. read more

This place is like a salad bar. And you pay by weight. The only place I really enjoy eating at in Slidell that offers healthy options at a reasonable price. The salads are $7.39/lb and soups are $5.49/lb. My meals are typically between $8-9 dollars for a medium salad and a small bowl of soup with a free water. I think they do have issues with some products at times because their distributor doesn't always have what they need. For example, they didn't have spinach or romaine at some points. But they do have many options for toppings, proteins, and a variety of dressing. Try their peppercorn house dressing, I really like it. The workers are very friendly but their manager kinda rubbed me the wrong way at one point. read more

I love this place and eat there at least once a week. I was in there when Sissy S was treated so poorly and I will tell you this, those girls did not do a thing wrong. Those four woman (in their 60's) came in without masks, griped and complained about not being able to make their own salads, caused a commotion over not having exactly what they wanted when they wanted it, sat around their table talking crap about the poor girls working there, and then finally one of them provoked one of the employees by "apologizing" in a someone aggressive way to the point she was asked to leave and she refused to do so while raising her voice and talking badly about the girls again. It was the most horrifying thing I've seen and they should be embarrassed. Times are hard and out of everyone's control right now. The owner and employees can not help the mask mandate and I believe the fines for not enforcing masks is around $500. There are signs on the doors and it's just common curtesy. Once you have your food you are free to take your mask off and eat. It was very obvious that these woman were out to prove a point and "stick it to the man" however their ignorance and lack of class just showed how broken this country has become when a woman in her 60s can go after a bunch of teens and a locally owned business just because she didn't get her way. There is nothing wrong with the restaurant and I will continue going there weekly. Be kind and remember that everyone is human and sometimes has bad days but how you react and handle a situation will dramatically effect your experiences anywhere. read more

For the most part this is a great place to get a salad. I frequently order using Waitr. In late May I ordered two salad, one with Baby Spinach. Surprised to find a HUGE spinach leaf with several holes in it, by no means baby spinach. I called this to the attention of someone at Waitr and they said they would pass my concerns on to the Salad Station. So, being the eternal optimist I today ordered another salad with BABY spinach. The result was again disappointing. Huge leaves which did not appear to be fresh and/or baby. This time I called the Salad Station directly and voiced my concern. The young lady (who said she was the manager) told me they get their produce from a distributor and the package shows this to be baby spinach. She said she would advise Waitr to remove the word "baby" as this was definitely a misnomer. Since this us really the only complaint I have about the contents of the salads I am sure I will continue to order. Also, the site states you get two containers of dressing but this is not always the case. Today, and once or twice in the past, I have only received one container of dressing. I sincerely suggest the Salad Station correct these problems. But, to be fair, good salads, reasonable pricing, and certainly great that I can order the food delivered. read more
