The chili shrimp protein bowl advertises over 50 grams of protein. 4 medium shrimp and 2 tablespoons of edemomi do no come close to this. The picture shows two skewers of shrimp, and I got one and was told that's it when I asked. Don't waste your money on these bowls, stick with the basic salads read more

My review comes with a caveat, I typically get delivery or pickup. I've never had this in the mall itself but honestly, I'm a huge fan! I don't know why this isn't better rated but honestly I love the menu. They're very reasonably priced and I gotta say, the salads are top notch. See for yourself in my pictures! Their signature salads are protein packed and very filling but also the build your own meals are also really handy. The food is not bad -- actually I enjoyed my meal quite a lot. I wish they had a ready menu item salad without meat that went beyond the Greek salad but oh well -- you can build your own. The ironic part for me is that building my own salad WITHOUT chicken or some other "protein" costs more than the default salads. The real problem I have, however, is the service is about as thrilled as the people behind the counter at the Post Office. I personally really like Saladworks. The one closest to my house closed down, so it was great to find this one while I was shopping at Bridgewater mall. I got a Thai Chicken Salad, The staff was nice, and moved very very quickly. The chicken was nicely tender and the veggies tasted very fresh. I wasn't crazy about the peppers added to the salad but that's just me. The portions are very huge as well, so be sure to come hungry. I found a live insect in my salad, took it back to the counter and it didn't seem to phase the employees. They just took the bowl and placed it on the counter right behind them (with the live bug still walking around) and offered to make me a new salad. So gross! You'd think for a place specializing in salads that this place would actually be good. We'll it's not. Their old Romain and iceberg lettuce is placed in a bowl in which if you are lucky, you'll get about 3small pieces of cut of chicken. I paid for double meat qnd literally got a half a handful of chopped chicken. I look at my 'fresh salad' and go to the register only to pay 11bucks.....11bucks for an old salad with gross cold processed chicken thst comes out of a bag with terrible salad dressing. I've never been there a Saladworks before. Service was friendly. The food certainly didn't wow me. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad. It was good, but not great. Reason being, you'd expect the lettuce to be fresh considering this is a salad restaurant. It wasn't. The rest of the salad was very good. read more

I'm not one to complain but this sh*t hole just pushed me to leave my first yelp review. I'm a huge saladworks fan- I sometimes order from the Hillsborough location twice a week. I figured I'd go for the healthy option at the mall but wow do I regret it. First the lettuce is nearly brown. Second, the greasy guy at the counter rolled his eyes probably 5 times at a few simple requests. He looked disgusted that I asked if there were smaller salad sizes... like how dare I ask. He slapped my order together like it pained him to do so. I tried to use the saladworks rewards points at the counter. I had 3 dollars to use which really goes a long way towards an 8 dollar salad. Tried scanning a few times but it didn't seem to be working- the kid at the register couldn't even be bothered to let me know. I asked if it went through and he nodded- little did I know he just gave up and charged me the full 11 dollars for my order PLUS charged me .79$ for an extra scoop of dressing. I've never seen such terrible customer service in my life- if you really hate making salads that much just quit dude. I'll stick to the hillsborough location from now on! read more

This Saladworks is located in the food court in the Bridgewater Mall. I'm a little surprised by the overall poor reviews because I actually think Saladworks is decent. I've seen a lot of these close down over the years which is not a good sign but I've always enjoyed my meals. Depending on what you order, it can be a healthier alternative to some of the other food court options. Everything is made fresh right in front of you and you can pick and choose your ingredients. I usually order either their Buffalo Chicken or Cobb salads. You can also choose to build your own. I always think the salad is tasty and they're a good size, especially for lunch. They do a good job mixing the ingredients and dressing right in front of you. There are also plenty of different salad dressings to choose from. It's slightly on the pricey side but so is every other food court option. I think I paid about $11 for a salad and a drink on my last visit. I'd have no problem returning. read more

some of the ingredients seemed old (soggy cucumbers/tomatoes). cheese blatantly left off my salad. However, there is absolutely no excuse for there to be not one, but two small hairs in my salad. This is not the first time I have heard about this location having hair in their lettuce.
