Oh, I do love Salata. I became hooked while living in Johns Creek and was excited when this location opened. The ingredients are always super fresh, and I love the ease in personalizing your salad. I have been going to Salata for many years now. Recently have been having more and more problems with this location. When getting my salad, the worker barely put one scoop of lettuce in there and tried to keep walking. When I asked if I could have a little more lettuce he gave me an attitude and gave me a few more pieces looking at me mad the entire time he was helping me. Rudest workers on the planet. Out of 4 people working, only one of them was level headed and considerate. Ironic that she was the youngest one there. I'm usually a big fan - having been to the Sandy Springs and the Peachtree Corners location, and have always had pleasant experiences there. However, the customer service experience at this location when I went was severely lacking. First of all, when asked about the dressing I asked for 2 half-scoops, one for one dressing and another for a different dressing. Instead, the worker proceeded to give 2 FULL scoops of a single dressing, and had to stop her before doing additional damage. (Who would eat salad with 4 scoops of dressing?) Second of all, after sitting down I can clearly hear the workers openly gossiping about the current customers. This is completely unacceptable and classless behavior. I wanted to update my review because I decided to give this place another try after having a really good experience at one of their other locations. Turns out, going right before closing is probably not the best idea. I went today during lunch and my salad was amazing! The place was packed and it took a while to get through the line but it wasn't a big deal. The staff were still so friendly despite being super busy. I got my dressing on the side this time and appreciated that they put my "bread" options in a separate bag for my to-go order so they wouldn't get soggy. One great thing about this place, that doesn't hold true at most other places, is that you pay a flat fee and not by the weight of your salad. That means as many toppings as your heart desires!! I am a salad lover and I like my salads big with lots of toppings so this makes me very happy! The only things that cost extra are protein and avocado which is understandable. Well worth it if that is your choice. Sun-dried tomato dressing is very low cal and was really good tasting. If you are a flavored tea fan, they have a tea fountain with 5-7 or so different options. The ginger lime vinaigrette is so delicious; I got one scoop and it was plenty for the large salad. My salad ended up tasting like an Asian chicken salad and I absolutely loved it.
