Regular salad with falafel mixed in

Regular salad with falafel mixed in Regular salad with falafel mixed in. Very delicious per the usual. The staff are very welcoming and courteous. And I love the prickly pear limeade mixed with raspberry lemonade. I always get to go even if I decide to eat there, but outside just in case I have some leftover.

A nice clean comfortable and very relaxing hot spot for lunch and or a light dinner. A good selection of protein, salad dressing, and refreshing drinks. I notice many customers ordering the soups. Bake goods and breads are fresh and tasteful. Dine in are on the patio. I believe they add to the menu seasonal items. I've always had excellent service. In the summer I'm there once a week.

I love Salata! So glad there's a location close by now. Today, I ordered a wrap. I alway get the cucumber tortilla. SO GOOD. Salata's vegetables are always so fresh and I think that's what I love the most. Now I just wish this location would add arugula to their bar! Such a great add-on to salads and wraps along with the Arcadian mix. I have always appreciated the cleanliness of the Salata locations I have visited. Remember to continue practicing social distancing!!

What's not to love about Salata! You can create a salad or wrap exactly how you want it-customization galore. Their product is always fresh and tasty. I'll dare to say I'll be a regular.

Nice restaurant. Very bright & impeccably clean. This was a first time visit. I chose a small spring mix. You able to have them add as many toppings as you like. I added eggs & spicy chicken for protein. A small amount of ginger lemon dressing. My initial thought was I will never be able to eat all of it. It was light and so good I ate almost all of it. In the future I would get the croutons on the side. All of the other toppings would have been fine to save for later. I had Chinese unsweetened black tea, it was really good. My hubby had the white bean soup and whole wheat croissant he enjoyed both. I will definitely go back before I leave Houston.

You order at the counter and the server will bring the food out to you. We got chicken and waffle & chicken and pancake, French toast with side of scrambled eggs, and an iced lavender latte and English breakfast hot tea. The food & drinks quickly came out, which is always greatly appreciated when dining with kids. The chicken was a generous portion and juicy. The butter had a unique flavor and paired well with the chicken. The pancake and waffle were also big portions. The latte was sweet and well balanced. The manager came around checking on us and was very attentive when I needed to request an extra cup of hot water for our tea. The floral wall decor and light fixture gives such a cozy vibe. Portions are large/filling and we felt the food was delicious and a good value for money. When we arrived the line was long and menus were not available so we had to search for the menu on the website to avoid deciding at the counter and holding up the people behind us. After ordering, tables were cleaned consistently and service was friendly. Only feedback about seating was outside parties would take chairs from other tables and leave them with no seating and not all tables we're shaded. The drinks being available at the bar when it is busy and then food being delivered to the table was a bit clunky. I picked up water and utensils for our party before sitting and would have preferred to have to pick everything up at the counter or have everything brought to the table to avoid multiple trips around when the restaurant is busy.

There were a lot of other items on the menu that sounded fantastic. The food quality was great and the staff was kind. Honestly, this feels like a place that will probably make its way into our monthly rotation. My only small critique is that it's a little on the pricey side. There's premade wraps and bowls to choose from, where you pick the protein and can add extra toppings at a cost. Or you can make your own custom bowl or wrap. Since it was my first time I decided not to be cute and stuck with a premade wrap- the Caesar Crunch, with Saffron chicken. I LOVED IT. There's so much flavor, but nothing overpowering the other spices. And the pita crisps and fries inside the wrap just take this to the next level! Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
