I'm only giving this place 3 stars because the food is so good and fresh. The customer service on the other hand is not great, I came in for the $1 ritual week for a build your own salad, the manager was completely rude to me, i was next in line and she completely just skipped over me to service the next customer, and when i spoke up she rolled her eyes as if i was bothering her. 2 days previous they wouldn't even give my friend the dollar salad smh read more

I love Salata as their salads are enough for two portions and you can add all the veggies and other side items as you want. I love their salata and spinach mix lettuces topped with crab meat and balsamic vinegarette dressing. You should also try their tomato basil soup, it's to die for :) read more

Salata is such a great healthy option for dinner or lunch. Everything tastes delicious and fresh. The only down-side is the pace of the service. They never seem to be staffed enough to handle the number of people eating there. They go very slow and are often not very friendly. But I still keep going back! read more

The lady that was assisting me was not following directions. I asked her for extra chicken and extra fruit and she put the amounts she wanted in my salad then she was aggressively mixed the salad. Outside of that, I asked for pita chips and she threw four chips in a bag. When I asked for more, she threw one more in the bag and passed it along to the person that was working the register. This place has the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I used to be a regular, they don't greet you, they have horrible attitudes as if you're asking them to do to much for just serving you food. The portions are terrible, they deliberately give you a pinch of everything you have to continue to ask them for a little more, they then stare at you as if you did something wrong. I asked for extra dressing on the side because the lady didn't put enough the first time, infront of everyone they yelled "that's an extra charge". They have zero communication and management skills, because none of them speak proper English to begin with. Avoid this place at all costs, $15.00 for a salad no thank you I'll find a different salad place. Won't be coming back to this rip off of a place anymore. They are so stingy here! Every time I come i ask for extra strawberries, apples, olives, olive oil and Chickpeas and they are ALWAYS stingy!! The lady always just stops the super slow oil dispenser as if she's tired of shaking it on my salad. It drives me crazy, especially when I am here on business and have driven out of the way to get here. I tried to locate another location but I was unable to locate the one on pacific so I was forced to come here again. Never had such horrible service in my life! Lady by the name of Carla was beyond discriminatory and lazy! I've been to most of the locations in Dallas and this one was my favorite until she started working the line. I come here 3x a week and have never been charged extra for dressing or been told I can't have extra tomatoes. Not only did she charge me $2 for dressing, she told me they were out of chopped egg and avacado @ 3pm! As much as I've been here, they have never been out of ANY ingredients! I absolutely love salata! It is by far my favorite salad place. Everything is always extremely fresh and high quality. They have the most options that I've seen compared to other salad places. My favorite combination is spinach, spring mix, all of the fruit and dried cranberries with mango dressing! I get it every single time. I actually like that they don't have a menu of salad combinations, it is totally up to you and your creativity! They also have soups and wraps. I can't believe I'm calling this dig my reward after a long day, since it's so healthy, but it is! Salata is like an upgraded, salad version of Chipotle. You first pick what two kinds of salad you'd like, unless you opt for their wraps, and then from there, you are free to add whatever toppings your little heart desires. They offer a wide variety, including tofu, banana peppers, walnuts, alfalfa...and probably like 50+ other things. Their homemade dressings are really fresh. No worries...you can taste them before making a final commitment. My favorite is their herb vinaigrette. You could probably make two meals out of their salads, but I usually indulge and eat the whole thing. I keep my salads meatless, but for an extra $2-$3, you can add meat or seafood. read more

Love Salata. Not a fan of this location. It seemed like I was begging for rations from a starving family. By that I mean, they are so stingy with the ingredients of a $12 salad, it bewilders me. I do like the concept of the place but I'm still wondering whether the price is worth it. It's basically like Chipotle except with salads. You order your salad (or wrap) at the beginning of the line and you move down an assembly line to add ingredients. Chicken and seafood are extra. All the other ingredients were fresh and tasted good. You have a choice of bread at the end and can add a bowl of soup. Nothing spectacular but the meal was good and somewhat healthy. Maybe I expect a little more from an $8+ salad. read more

I can only review the salads because I haven't tried anything else (like the soup or wraps). They are excellent. I have yet to find a piece of brown lettuce or unripe tomato after eating here dozens of times. The staff is very accommodating and exceptionally friendly. They love talking to my three year old daughter who isn't always welcome at restaurants. The cashier throws in a special treat for her once in a while. The food is fresh, the staff is great and it is an excellent choice if you want a light, quick lunch or dinner. I love Salata salads but this location is not customer friendly at all. You pay just about $15.00 for nothing but lettuce. They give you about 4 chunks of meat and when you ask to pay for extra, that's when they give you a full scoop. As for veggies, you would think at least they load you up on that but no...just a sprinkle here and there or a few pieces of broccoli and carrots. It's so frustrating. By the time I get my salad home to eat, its dry because they put a half scoop of dressing a large salad so now I've paid for just lettuce. Let me start by saying. I've always enjoyed going to the location in Addison. However, this location was very rude. I cannot eat dairy, and I told them this and asked which dressings were Vegan just in case it was mislabeled. They told me and I chose one. They put it on my salad. Then another worker said "No that one has dairy". I asked them to remake the salad with a different dressing, and they refused to remake the salad. I don't understand why they would refuse my business and choose to make $0 over the $15 I was about to spend. I was given no explanation as to why they would not. She simply just said "No". One of the better salad bars in the city. The ingredients are fresh and the salads are huge! They do tend to skimp a little with the toppings at first, but you just have to be persistent. "Peppers please... Can I have a bit more peppers... still a bit more please..." usually does the trick. I am literally obsessed. I have to keep myself from going to often because it is a little pricey. It is very good quality ingredients though and so delicious. They make the dressings and everyone that I have had is amazing. I have a list in the back of my mind on salad combos that I have to try but I tend to get my standard chipotle ranch salad most of the time. The tomato basil soup was delicious as well. Eh. My only other Salata experience has been the west Plano location, which is great. They weren't THAT busy at this location yet I was completely rushed through the line. I barely had time to think about my toppings.
