First time here and... yeah, we've already mentally added it to the regular rotation. We ordered the Wagyu spring rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, and the Spicy General Tso's chicken, and every single thing showed up exactly how you hope it will when you're hungry and a little picky (hi, it's me). The Wagyu spring rolls? Golden, crispy perfection. That first bite cracks just right and then hits you with that rich, savory Wagyu goodness mixed with a little crunch from the veggies--small but mighty in the best way. The chicken lettuce wraps were so good. Super flavorful without being heavy--perfect balance with the savory sauce, mushrooms, and water chestnuts giving it that little crunch moment. Bonus points for the crispy rice sticks because texture matters and they understood the assignment. And the Spicy General Tso's... this is where they really showed off. Crispy chicken tossed in that sweet-heat Sriracha sesame situation with garlic, chili flakes, and just enough kick to keep things interesting without taking you out. Every bite was hot, fresh, and actually consistent--which, let's be honest, is rare and appreciated. Everything came out hot, quick, and tasted like someone in the kitchen actually cares about what they're doing. And the staff? That's what sealed it. They took a cute, quaint little spot and turned it into a genuinely fun dinner vibe. The kind of place where you don't feel rushed, just taken care of. Now... the only heartbreak of the night: finding out we narrowly missed their boba era Saw the machine wrapped up front like a retired legend and got the story--they were doing boba, but it didn't make the cut. It's great to have Pei Wei back in Denton after a few years away! This location feels different from what I remember - smaller, with a lighter and brighter vibe, and a faster, more streamlined service. It's a nice change if you're looking for a quick, casual meal without sacrificing quality. The food came out super fast. I barely had time to grab drinks and find a table before it was ready. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and shared some Crab Rangoons. The Pad Thai tasted a bit different from what I remember - no tofu in the recipe anymore - but it was still pretty good. The lettuce wraps and crab Rangoons? Just as delicious as ever I'm excited to visit again and really hope this location thrives. It's a welcome addition to have back in Denton's food scene! read more

I've been seeing the buy 2 for $16 for at least a week or two. We decided we wanted to try it tonight. We called the restaurant in Denton to find out it the promotion was still good and was told it was. She never mentioned we had to sign up for anything. I had explained seeing the Facebook post repeatedly over the last week or two. It gave no expiration date either. My husband drove in, gave our order and wa charged full price. The manager said you had to be signed up for that program. Why would the girl I spoke with on the phone not say so ??? Very poor business. read more

As soon as we walked in, one of the many children working in the shiny new place sneezed on his arm. He then took a cleaning cloth from the counter, wiped his arm, and proceeded to carry food to the table. Is that cloth then used to wipe trays and tables? No hand washing. Are new employees trained in cleanliness and food handling? We turned around and left. Maybe we'll try again after flu season. read more
