    Salata-ing England by the pound

There's "alata" locations of Salata, so each one needs to live up to standards, and this one is far, far below. They get an extra star for having some nice employees, but that's where it ends. Some of the employees here were pretty nice which is about the only good thing I can say about this location. Very disappointing on a lot of levels. Smaller salad than expected and a lot of the stuff was wilted or rotten and definitely not what I was hoping for. We've been here four or five times just because of proximity to where we were working out, and it has been a pretty consistently bad quality salad, with excellent service at times, not so much others, and really disappointing and wilted salad salads to the extent that we now avoid this location. 1 star for salad, 4 for service, averages to 2. However, I added a 3rd star because anywhere that Barbi can look this good, this often, can't be all bad.

I have to admit, I have forgotten all about salata! But they just have so much to offer, spring mix, arugula, spinach ... beets, eggs. Cucumber, beans, edamame, .... I mean can I just live here??? Imagine eating salata everyday, I'm sure my skin would be glowing, or I could turn into popeye the sailor man lol. I decided to go with lemon vinaigrette for salad dressing and I really like the options available! My protein: Crab mix with shrimp. I always feel so good after leaving here! Enjoy y'all!

The lady said to reach out and email Customer service. I reached out twice and did not receive a response. It's all for show.

Always good just could of been wrapped a little tighter.

Build your own salad or wrap spot. The location is nice they have a couple chairs and tables out front. Parking can get a little pack during lunch time around 12:30. What is also good is that you can order it on line as well. When you walk in you see all the fresh ingredients and the offer seasonal items from time to time. The offer 2 salad size and a protein box for kids. The make and also sell the salad dressing. For wraps you have different ones to choose from. My favorite is cool cucumber. Nice selection of meat or seafood and something for vegetarians. This is one of my favorite salad spots when I want something light.

This Salata was decent. Since they closed my favorite Salata location inside of city centre I had to venture out for my salad fix. This location is definitely skimpy on the lettuce and toppings. I ordered a large and it looked more like a small after it was prepared. I have been a Salata customer for over three years and i have to admit I've never left hungry. Today I was still hungry.

This place was alright for a fast and light meal. I came here for lunch (12:30p-ish) on Saturday with a friend. The line was pretty long, but it moved quickly. I ordered a small salad and filled up the bowl with a lot of items. One thing I wasn't too fond of about this place is that adding protein is way more pricy than I think it should be. My salad ended up being close to $11, and at that point I think I would have rather had a poke bowl (which would have been cheaper and more novel). A small salad was large enough to fill me up, though. This place is good for its 1) quick service and 2) variety of salad toppings/ingredients. Further, the ingredients seemed fresh! However, if I'm about to bust out $11 for a lunch, I'd go someplace else. Parking situation: on-site.

We opted to sit on the patio on a (rare) nice Houston day. The tables were spacious and the patio seating was very comfortable. We ordered the Kofta Kabob and Chicken Kabob specialty platters. These platters come with your choice of two sides - we went for the Fried Cauliflower, Tabouli Salad, Hummus, and Muhammara. The meats were so good and hit the spot. The Kofta Kabob had a complexity of flavor to it; so many spices that blended together really well. I will say that the post-meal burps of these spices were...smellier than usual. The Chicken Kabob was also flavorful and had a nice smokiness to it from the grill. I liked the slight crunch provided by the char along the edges. If I knew how to make chicken like this, it would be my daily meal prep! The Fried Cauliflower had a nice sear to it with lots of flavor. The Tabouli Salad and Hummus were comparable to those I've had at other Mediterranean places. The Muhammara was my favorite of the sides!
