I wanted to have more pics to share but today I was blown away by the three ladies serving . Very attentive one of them took the time to tell me about the app benefits and waited patiently for me to enroll and simply delivered amazing customer service. For a small salad it always does the job when I want a salad that I can truly customize on my own with sooooo many options. The price is a bit extra for a salad but with the variety that they provide I can see why. Also, I can eat the small in two halves and that's a plus. I have been to a couple of locations and I typically order one of their named salads (the harvest) and it's funny to see the amount of variation that I get. This location seems to be more generous with the toppings and in general does a better job with preparation. I will definitely return. read more

Walk in and you get a strong smell of floor cleaner. They are very generous with the free ingredients but when it comes to the protein they are completely unreasonable. I requested shrimp and with one scoop I only got 3 shrimps. I ended up paying for double protein just to get a reasonable amount. I won't be returning to this location, other places give you a heaping amount. If they are so stringent with the amount they should just weight the salads and have customers pay per weight. read more

First timer! Found while searching Google for a salad place near work for lunch. Spoke to my daughter and she recommended it also. Lunch time, busy place but line was fast and service was friendly with samples to taste before choosing and everything is fresh and delicious! The hostess or person that rang me up, maybe a manager asked me how I heard of Salata because I told them it was my first time. She also stopped by my table and asked what I thought and how everything was. I will be back for sure!!! Price is a little high for a salad but I went over board and had 3 proteins without knowing cost. $17 for a small salad (big enough for 2) and drink. Would of been around $10 if I had 1 protein. Next time I'll be more conservative and they also offer wraps so they have other options. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside and outdoors read more

When visiting the area, I spotted what seemed to be a quick, healthyish food retreat. Little did I know, my mom and sister are full blown Salata addicts with weekly+ visits. I like the concept, although it's not entirely novel. Food safety of a salad bar is always concerning and this is a nice alternative. The line wasn't too long and all went smoothly. I wasn't sure at the time but you can get as many toppings as you like at no extra cost. It is entirely build your own. My salad was haphazard but delicious and HUGE. These are two meal salads, folks. The turkey protein was very tasty. You can also mix two dressings. I'd be a regular fo sho. My only recommendation would be to have some salad ideas on the menu that can easily be ordered as a one shot. Otherwise, I'd be back if I was local! read more

Was really looking forward to it and left disappointed. The place was not busy and the staff still rushed me to pick my toppings. You'd think it'd be impossible to mess up an order at salata but they were in such a hurry they somehow messed up my order and didn't add everything I asked for. I eat at salads on a regular basis and stop I. Various ones. I order the small bowl and I just love how the person behind the counter puts very little food in the bowl. I always have to say please put more in and they say well it's portion control. And I tell them I want a full bowl not a half of a small bowl. Signs sign bowl..... I love salad and will eat that whole bowl if salads want to serve me 1/2 a bowl then charge me for 1/2 the bowl. Don't charge me the full price and give me 1/2 a bowl. read more

Stopped in with a coworker who suggested lunch here. Was really good! Have never been to this chain before, and honestly after living in NYC and spending $15 at salad shops, was thinking it would be similiar. But, surprisingly a great value! Standard salad $8 with a ton of options, I think unlimited with a few add-ons (meat, avocado, etc). Everything seemed very fresh and clean. The food was fine, as good as any other Salata location. The customer service though was garbage. My wife and I both typically order the larger salad and only eat half, taking the rest to go for another meal. However, this location apparently has an issue handing out larger to-go containers if you dine in. I asked the manager of all people for two containers and he gave me attitude saying I could just use the smaller container (this went on for far too long back and forth). We ended up having to show him our remaining salads in order for him to finally hand me the larger to-go container (still with attitude and a smirk). I didn't understand his issue because it's not like they wouldn't have given me the larger container had I said to-go to begin with on my order. If you pay $30+ for two salads you shouldn't have an issue getting a dang container. Will not be returning. read more

I am so happy to have a salata location so close to my neighborhood. I had gotten used to driving to the market street location. What I usually see in a new chain location is undertrained staff, not here though, the assembly team moved swiftly and courteously. I appreciated the option to sample proteins I had yet to try. If you are looking to switch it up and go for a healthier lunch, try this place. I typically hate the idea of a salad or wrap for a meal, but this will fill you up with all the toppings available. Don't be scared to double up on proteins either or ask employees for recommendations. read more

I love the concept of Salata salad bar. Being able to chose your toppings and building your own salad without being seemingly to needy. There are so many toppings and the staff doesn't rush you. I love the ginger vinaigrette, something I've never had before or will find anywhere else. The hint of ginger is enough to give it a ginger flavor but not so over whelming. They also have fruit infused teas and lemonades. If your looking for a fresh diet then this is the place for you. The price is ok vs the unlimited salad bar. read more

The customer service is always nice, and everything is super fresh. My two concerns would be the fact that their salad dressing always tastes watered down. If you're paying $20 for a salad it should very well come with a better salad dressing. The other concern is while they try to offer refreshing drinks that seem to be free from so much sugar, it all tastes like they have pectin in the beverages. If I'm eating a healthy salad, makes not sense to wash it down with poison. read more

I wanted to write a review to commend Jeremy, who delivered my catering order today. He clearly knows his way around customer service. He was very professional, polite and thorough. Everything was put together very neatly, he was on time and explained everything that was in the bags. I have dealt with catering companies for the past 5+ years at work and have gone through nightmares with specific companies...I won't mention any names but*COUGH*(I am looking at you, Jason's Deli). Having a caterer that will be on time and get my order CORRECT is invaluable in my line of work. I easily spend thousands of dollars on catering every month. They use to be really good when it came to quality of service which I believe is of utmost importance in any assembly line fast pace restaurant, for simple reasons like the fact that you interact with the person preparing your food and who wants a pissed off employee with an angry look on there face. All and all the most disappointing this is the people making the wraps are no longer being properly trained which has a lot of impact on the experience in general. read more

I got the black tonkotsu ramen ($17). The price was okay, the portion was okay, and the ramen was okay. The whole thing was mid. Later, my friend told me that Jinya the "McDonalds" of ramen shops and I should have gone elsewhere LMAO The "black" means that it had black garlic oil in it, but for some reason, there was not enough of that garlic flavor for me to justify calling it a "black" ramen. I don't know if the chopped garlic wasn't toasted enough or whether the amount of the black garlic oil was too little, but it wasn't garlicky enough. The broth was mild in flavor. It looked creamy enough, but maybe it was diluted down to stretch it more? I have a feeling that if you stuck the broth in the fridge, it wouldn't solidify (which is a clear indication that it's either been diluted down or the pork bones to make it weren't cooked long enough). We're in Houston, there are SO many good ramen places, so I wouldn't come back here again. Not awful, but not great, just meh.
