My sister ordered the Rigatoni Boscaiola with a chicken cutlet on it. Looking at the chicken, it was visibly pink, and she understandably didn't feel comfortable eating it. We informed our server, who apologized, but the plate never left our table and was never taken to the kitchen for anyone to inspect. We ended up removing the chicken to a separate plate ourselves. When the bill arrived, the chicken was still included. After we asked about it, the server told us the chef said, "It's just a vein." Please see photo attached as the chicken is visibly pink and we are aware what a vein looks like. That was extremely frustrating because the chef never actually saw the chicken after we raised the concern--the plate remained at our table the entire time. We weren't looking for a free meal. We simply wanted our concern to be taken seriously and for someone to inspect the chicken before dismissing it. Instead, we paid for chicken my sister no longer felt comfortable eating. The other pasta dishes and appetizer were fine, and had our concern been handled appropriately, we wouldn't have left a review at all.

On the first visit my wife ordered Shrimp Linguine Fradiavolo which was a generous portion of shrimp over linguine with a wonderfully spicy marinara sauce. (She let me try it). I ordered Gnocchi Sorrentina which I customized to my preferences. Substituted marinara for meat sauce and added some charred Italian sausage. Probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. Portions of both dishes were large enough to take back to enjoy for lunch the next day. On our second visit, my wife had Spaghetti Al Pomodoro and I tried Veal Marsala. Both were north of wonderful! During both visits we also enjoyed fresh garlic bread. Uncle Guiseppe's is busy and noisy. Service is so good you don't notice the "busy" once you're seated. This was our best restaurant find this trip.

These are the smaller mozz balls and they're kept in garlic oil that could keep every vampire away from you. They have some anti-pasta items as well as canned/jarred goods, and even fun Italian sodas. Lots of freezer food too- prepared foods like dinners and soups (think Italian!) and also some frozen meat products. I don't think their prices are cheap (we wouldn't shop here weekly for meat), but I do feel like we get quality product always. We also like to call ahead to ensure they have what we want. Last week, we decided we wanted to make those amazing beef "dinosaur" ribs. We tried Costco, Fresh Market, and a few other places but Supreme Meats reigned supreme with their product.

While I was finding this new way of shopping to be strange and unsettling at first, I quickly changed my mind and now hope such a fantastic service will continue far after these trying times! For all who are considering shopping through Erneston Produce, here's just a few of the highlights from my experience: *The online ordering process is quick and simple. *They offer many more items than I expected, including produce and grocery and household items. * The pick up process was outstanding! It was organized and incredibly quick; the staff was very mindful and respectful of safety measures, working hard all while still smiling and being friendly; I didn't have to get out of the car or exchange payment by hand. You can use Venmo to pay for your order, which I did. There wasn't ever a moment where I was within six feet of anyone or felt my safety was compromised. *Every item I ordered was fulfilled, and each was separately bagged, regardless if came in its own packaging or not, making the cleaning process at home so much easier. *All of my items were carefully placed in large boxes that were stored in a refrigerated truck until my arrival. *The quality of the produce (and all other items) was beyond impressive! I don't often see anything like it in our typical shopping venues. *The company's prices were more than fair and reasonable! Typically, I would expect to pay double what I did for the same order when shopping as I normally do. I could go on and on, but I hope my point is made and that shoppers in need consider this option so that this company can keep its staff employed, which they are desperately trying to do. We ended up waiting about eight more minutes and left with both the incorrect small pizza and the correct extra-large pizza. The pizza itself was excellent, just like we've come to expect, so no complaints there. However, having our order taken incorrectly--combined with the strong odor inside the restaurant--made for a less-than-ideal pickup experience. We'll definitely be back because the pizza is worth it, but hopefully the ordering process goes much more smoothly next time.

Too bad, we do like to support local individually owned restaurants but I believe Anna's has seen us for the last time.
