The good- easy to order on the kiosk, sausage sandwich roll was fresh and soft, ambiance was ok (typical for Red Bank), drink selection was just okay. The bad - sausages on the sandwich were pretty burnt and dried out. The service was nothing great. Not very friendly. Would I come here again? Probably not as there are other choices in the area.

I liked this place, because of it's authenticity and the homemade, unique offerings. I felt a price of $42, to include two pizza slices, two drinks and a salad - was a bit pricy. Though I enjoyed my slice, the crunchy charred bottom, detracted from the overall flavor of cheese and tomato sauce. A Nice Salad (though fresh) at $13.00, comprised of the salad standards, plus green olives - not worth the hefty price tag. Suggests selling the salad as a smaller portion/price and and adding more sauce to the pie, evening out the taste of char.

Sicilian (just ok), eggplant (very good) and spinach (mediocre) pizzas

This review is just for the pizzas they put out in their display. My first thought when I looked at their speciality pizzas that they keep out in their display is that they were all way too thick! I tried to find a thinner pizza slice, but there weren't any. I ended up getting the white with spinach, eggplant, and a Sicilian slice. The white pizza slice with spinach tasted all dried out! It tasted like it was sitting there since early in the morning! I obviously didn't care for that one at all. The eggplant pizza was very good! It tasted fresh, and the sauce to that one was very tasty! The Sicilian slice was mediocre. The sauce wasn't as flavorful as the eggplant pizza, and the cheese was all dried out. The pizzas were way too dense to my liking. I'd come back and try ordering a whole pie next time, but I definitely won't be ordering any pizza by the slice here again.

If I could, I would give this a 3.5. I really liked the ambiance, the friendly staff, and the price point (a Sicilian pie was about $23, which is on the cheaper side nowadays). The two cons for me, not insignificant, were that the bottom was just too crisp for my liking (understand why they did it -- so that the pizza didn't fall apart when you picked it up -- but I would still take a light crisp/less integrity over super crispy/bordering burnt), and unfortunately, it didn't taste like the slices had any seasoning. I added a ton of oregano and garlic powder to each, which helped, but it would have been better if there was seasoning in the red sauce or in the ricotta of the white slice. Texturally, everything was great. I would give it another try if it was closer, but I wouldn't make a drive (over an hour) for this again.

    Plain slice, Vodka Grandma Pie

Pizza was amazing. Highly recommend the vodka grandma slice. Service was quick. The place is brand new so everything was very clean.

Burnt pizza and it taste like shit. For $43 Hard as a rock. The owners are a real class act too.

Someone mentioned this new pizzeria, so I figured let me give it a try... ehhh, I was expecting really good pizza especially since they mention a "Ferrari oven". Pizza was just okay, kinda bland. But personally this place is way overpriced. I also felt the staff was not so friendly and actually quite rude. The place and atmosphere was nice. Hopefully they can get it together. I don't think I will return when there are plenty of other pizzerias in the area.

This place blatantly rips off unsuspecting customers by charging an insanely unreasonable charge when using Slice, and I'm sure other third party apps. Slice charges independent pizza shops and other mom and pop businesses a very low fee when compared to competitors BECAUSE they want to see these small shops succeed. Yet, the greedy owner of Sally Boy is exploiting the ethical values that slice was founded on. I won't ever give Sally Boy a penny of my money and I'm contacting Slice to let them know of this "theft."

First of all, there was a little kids birthday party here and it was LOUD. This is clearly not the restaurant's fault but wow was it loud. I wish we could have sat outside but it was a bit chilly. We started with a 'Watermelon Mint Cooler' and 'Frozen Strawberry Margarita' - both were mocktails. They were both delicious and refreshing. My husband got the meatballs for his appetizer and I got the Caprese salad. He loved the appetizer and I loved mine. You cannot go wrong with Caprese salad in my opinion. For our entrees, he got the 'Bistecca alla Pizzaiola" which was a steak with tomato, garlic and red wine with potatoes. It was really good. The steak was very tender. I got the 'Ravioli Limoncello' which was Ravioli in a Lemon cream sauce. I am not a huge lemon fan but this was great. We ended with the 'Carrot Cake' and the 'Toasted Almond' cake - both were delicious as well. Everything was great. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. I would definitely come back and would recommend. Next time though, I'm sitting outside if I see a big party though!
