Cute little joint tucked away in Kips Bay! Came here with a girlfriend after a quick Yelp search while waiting for our movie to start at the AMC Theater nearby. Beer and shot specials up the wazoo! Very cool. Bartender's name was Sarah, super cute and friendly. We both grabbed a beer, two shots of Jamo and of course nailed a dollar bill on the ceiling for good measure (check out the photos). No popcorn on the bar as advertised but it wasn't a big deal. Nice cool average dive bar. Stop in and check out the dollar bills everywhere!

Great times. Perfect dive bar with well priced drinks. The music was a little loud but what do you expect.

    Cheers!

I came here to meet some friends who live in the city and we also happened to meetup back in May 2017. We met just after 8:30p. I do my very very best to be on time but I got a little twisted around in the subway--they understood as they mentioned they too still get lost on the train. When I arrived I needed a drink to unwind a little--can you guess can you guess what it was? Ginger beer, right, you all know me so well lol. My friends ordered a round of beers as well, except theirs were brown in color--perhaps fake beer? Haha. We all had a great time laughing, catching up, snapping photos, making weekend plans and drinking beer. They also served popcorn apparently--I did not partake but my friends did. They seemed to like it but the salt made them more thirsty.

I passed this place 6:30pm one day on the walk to pen station. Great music and a cool ambience, I saw the happy hours prices and was hooked. Came in for the experience 7pm on a Tuesday, two girls were dancing and it is very lively for a pub environment. We were given two bowls of popcorn to snack on as well. $3 bud lights, $7 monjitos...

Chill little ass spot to grab a drink and watch sports, the musical taste of the bartenders is absolutely amazing! This is my local favorite spot to wind down after working all day.

A little before work drinks. Double Maker's Mark with a Guinness.

Inexpensive, but I'm pretty sure the Jack Daniels and Jameson used for pickle backs is watered down.

Great bartenders, but don't go here looking for proper whiskey. Ordered a Jameson and it was definitely a watered down something-else.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend.
