The issue I had was that Paul chewed gum the whole time. It wasn't just that he chewed the gum, he smacked the gum, chewing with his mouth open the whole time. And all I heard was gum smaking...smack, smack, smack in my ear. He chewed the gum with his mouth open and the gum had that sound where it got suction between the teeth and made a popping crackling sound each time he bit down. It's just not professional. Hopefully when I come back if I have him again, he won't chew gum or I'll just ask for a different person. I recommend checking out the membership. It is good at any of the 54 hammer and nails. This time, I specifically requested a female nail technician because the male technicians I've had here in the past have been extremely rough--one even cut me. A coworker of mine has had a similar experience here, so I made a point of requesting a woman, hoping I would have a better experience. Unfortunately, I was given Lily, and today's experience was just as bad. I have been getting pedicures for over 25 years. I know what a good pedicure feels like, and I know when someone is being unnecessarily rough. Throughout the entire service, Lily was constantly grabbing, repositioning, and forcefully moving my foot every 30 seconds. I have NEVER experienced anything like it during a pedicure. It felt like I was being manhandled rather than receiving a relaxing $65 service. I specifically asked for my toenails to be cut VERY short and for the ingrown areas to be carefully cleaned out. Instead, Lily CUT MY FOOT. Then, to top it all off, the gel polish application looks terrible. The polish is pushed all the way down into my cuticles, and the edges are jagged and sloppy. For $65, I expect someone to be able to apply gel polish cleanly and professionally without injuring me in the process. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing--not an experience where you're being jerked around by your feet, cut, and then sent home with sloppy polish. I have genuinely tried to give this place multiple chances because the location is so convenient, but convenience is not worth paying $65 to be manhandled, injured, and leave unhappy with the quality of the work. Unfortunately, after this experience with Lily, I will not be returning.

They don't use callus removal lotion anymore either. Sany's massage was very good and relaxing. He got visibly upset when I asked about most anything. It was a very uncomfortable non relaxing pedicure for me. My girls had fun, their pedicures were also not single use items either. I paid for the $50 Pedicure 2 for myself and really for the rushed and non relaxing experience I would rather pay more and just go to the Peppermill. This is a shame because I used to love this place.

While I believed her, I've honestly never had a nail salon run out of such a basic color before, so I had to choose a random shade that I ended up not liking. The pedicure itself was fine, but my technician was on the phone for most of the appointment, which made the experience feel impersonal. I originally found this salon through a TikTok recommendation. Later, I realized the creator worked nearby and appeared to know the owner--he even stopped in during my appointment to ask to borrow staples. That made me question how unbiased the recommendation really was. This salon has a lot of potential, but the customer service fell short. I was the only customer there, yet I still felt overlooked and uncomfortable. Between the paid parking, the price of the service, and the overall experience, I don't feel it was worth the cost.
