Straight,…read moreblunt cut, originally chin level when I lopped off a ponytail for one of those donation sites, it had grown out to my shoulders and because my hair has a lot of natural body and some wave and curl to it, I was getting a very triangular shape. I had no idea what to do with it, other than grow it out again, but I was tired of that cycle, too, since I've done it several times in the past decade. It's also going pretty grey in spots and I'm not sure another 'tail would work for those wig organizations because of that. I needed someone to just make a decision about my hair and cut it. I didn't care what the results were, what the style was, anything at all. I just needed something different. My husband half-jokingly suggested I take his clippers, buy some gel and go for the Annie Lennox look and I was actually OK with that. Christina took on the challenge. She chose a layered look that is both blowdryer and product-optional (YAY!). It's fabulous, super easy to take care of and suits me well! I would have never thought of layers and I'm glad she chose this cut.

It's clear she has a handle on different techniques/hair types, and provides useful advice and product recommendations. It's also clear she cares to take the time and effort to make sure her customers are getting what they want, while considering their hair type/color/etc. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, with basically no volume, and Jess has helped me to actually like my hair through her cuts, styling, and product recommendations. She did an amazing balayage on my hair over the summer, which I plan to do again in a few months. The price for the balayage was comparable (or lower) to what I've seen in the area, and certainly less expensive than the Boston area. The price for a haircut was significantly lower than the Boston area and the quality of service and cut is drastically better than I've had at salons near Boston. Pam and Maddy are also so friendly and the atmosphere is always fun and relaxing (such a nice contrast from the snobby or intimidating atmosphere I've experienced at some salons). I'm quite particular about my hair and received the best cut and style from Michele. I have relatively long, fine, straight hair that's mixed in with shorter hair regrowth following hair loss.
