I was able to get a receptionist on the phone but because she was new was unable to assist. I was directed to contact the individual hairdressers via Instagram. This required me to follow their page before I could message them. Really, really inefficient. In the meantime, I was able to locate another salon and hairdresser via Vagaro and book an appointment. These professionals may be great, but having an easy way to book will get more clients. In this day and age, the instantaneous booking is the bar and this place doesn't meet it. It is a hurdle/challenge to just get an appointment. I am sure these people are nice and are probably good at what they do.

I responded that I was not waiting 30 min. She got defensive and said people have emergencies but she had not said it was an emergency or apologized or checked to see if that would work for me. She continued to be rude and defensive. I would not recommend this salon or stylist at all. I found Kimberlys IG page and quickly fell in love with her work!…read more I messaged her on IG that I naturally have dark, thin, and dry hair and explained to her that a few months ago, I got a "Balayage" that certainly did not look like a balayage and that my hair ended up being dry and the roots were dark and not blended enough for my liking. She suggested I book a full blonding session. I booked my appointment with skepticism but high hopes after seeing her IG account filled with stunning hair posts that were not "photoshopped".  The booking process on her site was easy, you select the service and chose the date and time of your convenience. A few days before the appointment, she texted me to make sure I have her direct contact information in case it may be needed. I was super nervous walking in because you never know what you're going to get when you go to a new hair salon. She asked a bunch of questions to get an idea of what I wanted (blonding and blended roots), and I put my hair into her hands. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly on every strand of hair. To brighten up my dull hair and make it healthier, she did a deep conditioning and put a bit of toner in, and it brought it to life! The roots look well blended now, too! The Salon: I loved the way this salon was decorated, and it was very spacious. The salon's vibe was trendy, well-maintained, and clean! Ther is also PLENTY of parking in the lot! I had a lengthy consultation where we reviewed multiple inspiration photos and discussed adding…read moredepth and dimension while maintaining a dimensional bronde look with lighter ends. My hair had become brassy and I just wanted to add low lights and some dimension. I showed many, many photos to make it clear what I wanted. Unfortunately, the final result was drastically different from what I requested. Much of the interior and underside of my hair was colored a very dark brunette tone, creating a flat, heavy appearance rather than the dimensional look shown in the photos we reviewed. The ends of my hair look completely black, nothing like the photos I showed. The issue wasn't that my hair became darker overall. I expected more depth and lowlights. The issue was that much of the brightness and dimension was lost, particularly underneath, leaving large sections of the hair looking like one solid dark color. To Cynthia's credit, she did offer to adjust the color by adding highlights and ultimately provided a full refund when I explained that I was no longer comfortable proceeding with additional processing since my first request was so misunderstood and poorly executed. While I appreciate her efforts to make things right afterward, the final result did not reflect the look we spent significant time discussing beforehand. I'm honestly still devastated.
