I typically love this salon and my stylist does the best job every time. I am writing this review about a blowout service I received for my birthday with a different stylist. I booked a blow out with Leilani, and the website said the blowout was $40. Every stylist has their own pricing but Leilani's pricing on the booking website was $40. I received the service. She did not style my bangs, and sprayed my hair with hair spray to the point of not being able to run my hands through it. My hair feels sticky and smells like chemicals. I went to pay expecting to pay the $40, and she charged me $60. I paid and left. But felt really unhappy with my hair and went back to ask why I was charged an additional $20. She told me that she charges $60 for long hair. She did not tell me this before completing the service and didn't explain that to me before I paid. I was charged an additional $20 for a blow out because of the length of my hair. For reference, my hair does not go past my shoulder blades and hits between my shoulders and chest. I think it was completely unprofessional to up charge $20 because of the length of my hair and not disclose that up charge before doing the service. I am so unhappy with how my hair looks and feel like I wasted my money. She did not style my bangs, my hair is sticky and feels dry. I understand fees being added when needed, but disclose that to your client before providing a service. Especially a $20 additional fee. I did not even receive a haircut this was just a blow out. I am extremely disappointed and do not feel beautiful after the service I received with Leilani. I will not be back. read more

I absolutely loved this salon and my hair stylist Jocelyn Montero was amazing!! I haven't gotten a haircut in about 2 years and I didn't want to go back to the person who used to cut it because she never gave me what I wanted. This was my first experience going to a salon that charges more than $40 for a haircut. I used to just cheap out with haircut but from my last experience (went to two salons in 1 day and paid $80 and still didnt get what i wanted). I'm pretty easy to please but the previous salons just chopped my hair off without asking me how I feel about the length first. I figured it's time to actually go to a place where you know they will take their time to cut your hair. Kiara had an opening and I booked her. She took the time to get to know me, my likes and what kind of haircut I'm aiming for. I'm attending a concert the next day and I asked her to cut it short. She made sure that I was comfortable with the length before chopping everything off. She was so patient and took her time to see what fits well in my face shape.
