Taylor gave me a life-saving haircut after an awful attempt at a makeover with another stylist, and since then I've never looked back. After rave reviews of this salon, I booked an appt with Tiara. I will say this...she was dying her hair in during the time of doing mine, was very busy in her weekend planning.... And now my hair is completely FRIED and damaged. I've never had this happen in my life. I wash it and it dries crusty. I waited to write this post until I got into a hairstylist that has ridiculous cred. Not only is my haircut completely uneven a jagged...she is a hired at how damaged my hair is. I am now a before and after for another salon due to the overpriced and lack luster care done here. When you spend that amount of money,you expect to be taken care of. I've been going to Salon Bleu for Dana for 2 years, and I've always been delighted with whatever she does. I roll in about every 4-5 months, needing an appointment last minute every time and she always finds a spot for me. I booked a 9am appointment ONLINE for a Brazilian Blowout with Hope less than 24 hours before I wanted it done. Awesome! Hope was there with a smile on her face and greeted me by name when I walked in. She got right to work and explained to me what was about to happen since I never had one done before. I went to Salon Blue to get a consultation and trial for hair and makeup for my wedding day. I will not name who worked on me, but I was not satisfied with the job she did AT ALL. She was very nice and polite but has no business being in hair and make up. She caked on the foundation, and kind of half-assed her way through makeup. For example she recommend a bright pink lip on me (which i knew would not look good) and once I told her I would rather see a nude lip, all she did was lather a nude lip gloss on top of the bright pink one. Didn't even bother to wipe the pink off. She kind of rushed through my hair and it looked just alright. My makeup was a worse version of my everyday makeup. I was extremely unsatisfied, and to top it off it was 90$. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. It seems they let anyone do hair and make up. read more

I have been getting my hair cut by Hope for years and am always happy with the results. If you want half an inch cut off she will cut half an inch. Not scissor happy like most stylists out there! Also gives amazing color and helps you achieve a beautiful style that is fashionable and functional for your hair type. I have hothead extensions and wasn't thrilled with the installation that I got in Ladera, so I decided to try someplace new that is closer to my office in San Clemente. Not only was Morgan available on semi-short notice, but she was extremely sweet and kind, and genuinely excited about how it was going to turn out. Well, taking out the extensions, washing my hair, coloring my hair, coloring the extensions, drying both, and then re-stickering the extensions and replacing them turn out to be quite the feat. It took a lot longer than we had both anticipated, but Morgan stuck with it and never complained. She was patient and determined, and the end result is gorgeous. Thank you Morgan! read more

This salon is really nice! It's situated near the beach so it's really relaxed and breezy inside. My stylist was Rachel. I actually found this salon though livingsocial.com where I got a coupon for a keratin treatment. It's basically the same as Brazilian blowout without formaldehyde. I also got highlights before the keratin. Not the smartest idea for someone who doesn't like to sit for that long. I was there over 4 hours. She is really nice and a great stylist. I really loved the way it come out. Normally the salon is on the expensive side and pretty far from where I live. read more

I have crazy, curly hair that I dye bright, fire engine red and straighten all the time. Amber bleaches my roots in a way that never irritates my scalp, and does the most perfect blowout.
