I went just wanting a trim with long layers (you can see how long my hair was in the picture below). The hairstylist and I agreed on taking off an INCH, which she showed me the length with her fingers, and I thought to myself- wow that's not even a lot off! As she was cutting my hair though- I noticed that my hair was near my SHOULDERS! I even said something and looked scared and the hairdresser just told me "oh it looks short but when you stand up it will be long. (SPOILER: she had no idea what she was doing and cut off 5 inches of my beautiful long hair). Then I paid extra for a blowout, and once again, the hairdresser had NO IDEA what she was doing. I have naturally curly hair, so it takes more effort to blow out my hair straight. However, she wasn't even using the correct tools at ALL. She was using a regular square brush, and a regular blow dryer (with no attachments on it). So basically there was no tension at all, and my hair was SO frizzy. I was sitting there for NO JOKE 2 hours, almost falling asleep in my chair, as her method of "blowout" clearly isn't good. When she was done, my hair was still WET underneath, and looked like absolute SHIT (pic below). I was so shocked at my hair. The owner Lisa walked by and said "oh it looks so good!" , which as the owner, she should have seen what a hot mess it was and tried to fix it. Needless to say, I still had to pay for the cut and "blowout" (even though I didn't even get a real blowout)! The last picture is my TODAY. I was getting a Brazilian blowout at another salon, and my hairdresser there looks at my hair and laughs and says "who cut your hair?" And I told them "mirragio" and she said "it looks like shit! Let me take a picture for you" and took the picture below. I was HORRIFIED. It is so jagged and uneven and I am so embarrassed to be walking around like this! Overall, do NOT go here! This salon is empty for a reason they have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF! (The only one who knows what she is doing is the nice lady who washes hair!!).

The only question asked was if I'd been there before, nothing about my hair length or thickness. I arrived at 10:30am, confirmed I just wanted a wash and blowout, and mentioned it was for a special occasion and I wanted a quick blowout to save time doing it myself. The wash lasted maybe 3 minutes with no detangling, and my hair went straight from soaking wet to a round brush and blow dryer. I showed a photo and asked for a bouncy blowout, but the stylist kept insisting on using a curling iron, which I didn't want. She also kept commenting on my hair's length and thickness. By 11am she had another client waiting and my hair wasn't even halfway done, and it felt like things were rushed from that point on. I eventually just let her use the curling iron so I could leave. She was friendly, but the result was not what I asked for. I ended up going home and curling my hair myself because it definitely didn't look like I had just been to a salon. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Bria typically runs on time. 4) All staff members are friendly and personable. They treat you the same whether you are dressed up for a night out or in a pair of sweatpants on a rainy afternoon. 5) They are professionals and act accordingly. Today I walked in with my 3 kids, the oldest who is 8. Bria did a phenomenal job cutting and blowing out both of my girls hair. My oldest has very curly hair which is not easy to work with. When the children started acting like children and running around as they do, Bria and her staff were able to help redirect them and chatted with them too. They adore children and always make us feel like we are at home when we are there. I posted a review about my own hair a year ago and now this one is for my children. i had an appointment today with Lexi to get my haircut and colored. when i made the appointment 2…read moreweeks ago i had to request an appointment in which i had to give my name, email and phone number in which were all up to date. i got a call the same day with an appointment time, in which i was very happy. but when i got to the appointment today as soon as i walked in the girl sitting at the desk looked at me sideways so from the second i walked in i felt a way, she then asked how she could help me and i said i had an appointment with lexi, she then tells me she tried to call me in which i never got a call at all, to tell me lexi was sick. i took off a whole day of work to get my hair done, so at this point im livid, i asked what number they called and she said my old phone number. when i scheduled the appointment request they had the correct number and called me to make the appointment! so why was my number not updated? it was giving rude and lazy, and they really didnt care i felt a bad vibe the second i walked in and honestly i wasted my whole day and lost money, it was just unprofessional that they had the correct number to make the appointment but not the right number to let me know she had to reschedule? no. i will never go here again, on top of they never let me know their address changed when i made the appointment so i went to their old location at first, they clearly don't have it together and are very rude. 0/10! never again!

I came to her really disappointed and weary after going to a pricey and well-known salon in the city where they did not give me the cut or color I asked for and left my hair underwhelmed and halfway done. I understand going from natural brown hair in a double process while maintaining healthy hair is a process but it seemed that my requests were taken with a grain of salt. Danielle listened to my previous experience, all my concerns and took the time to understand what I was looking for, setting clear expectations prior to scheduling our appointment together. She did exactly what I wanted and I am so extremely happy. I paid almost half the price of the other salon and she exceeded every expectation, from the amazing hospitality while sitting in the chair to her following up with me after my appointment and more. Their prices are really unbeatable and all the girls who work there are really sweet and so personable. The new owner of the salon is really nice and always works with me. I usually go to Holly who works there- she trims my hair exactly how I want it. I've been to salons where I say that I want just a trim and they take matters into their own hands and chop off 3 inches because they said my hair needed it. Frankly I don't care what they think my hair needs, just do what I ask you to do! Holly every time gives me exactly what I ask for and she blows my hair out with so much volume I just love it. I go to her for up-do's also! I really love this salon, it's close to me and a really nice personal experience.

There are two hairdressers and they both speak English fluently as their first language. Not to say that if the stylists spoke a different language that would be a bad thing. I've gotten wonderful cuts at other salons from people who (shocking) speak English as a second language. I've been going there for years. It's reasonably priced, the service is great and the stylists are super friendly. So either she's lying or she reviewed the wrong salon. ******** I got the Groupon. Made an appointment and it turns out I know the stylist from high school, like 40 million years ago. I showed her the color I wanted and explained that I am very simple with hair style, basically just need a deep trim. She got the color together and put it in my hair. As my hair was soaking up the dye, she worked on another client, cutting and blow drying her hair. Fast forward to the end, because the middle is boring stuff. My hair is cut and dried, and it looked soooooo good. I couldn't stop saying, "Lisa!! It looks so good! You got the color exact. Look at the picture. It looks just like it!!!" The only suggestion I'd make is the sinks are up too high. I'm short and had to hold myself up keep my head over the sink. They should be lowered so we can rest our necks in the dip part.
