Salon Laurent has a new line of hair products. My scale is sensitive, so I was a little hesitant to try it. I LOVE it! It's the best! It's really improved my hair! I've used the spray on conditioner & the hydrating conditioner after shampooing. I've been here for over 5 years now, and the staff is very friendly. I've never really had a hairstylist that I loved and would forever be faithful to until I met Heather. For the majority of my life in fact I have been anti-hair salons and allowed my hair grow out naturally, trimming it occasionally myself and then maybe once a year hitting up super cuts for $15. I've been going to Scarlet for my hair and make up for years and I've followed her to the different salons she's worked at. She always gives amazing tips and suggestions for styles/colors and she also listens to what you want as well. She's honest and won't let you ruin your hair with styles/colors that don't fit you. The pretty girl at the front desk welcomed me with a smile and asked she can assist me with, she even introduced herself, I believe Ashley was her name. Not only was she able to get me in right away for a haircut, she actually cared about what I wanted, offered me a beverage and even asked how my day was going. I've been to many salons but this one was really nice and everyone was so friendly. I had Jamie as my stylist, (Ashley recommended her). I was very happy with my haircut, the conversation was wonderful and she was very sweet. I decided to go here on a whim because my really really thick hair was cut into a blunt bob and looking really dead. It was also incredibly hard to manage. I went here on a whim but it turned out to be the best hair cut I've really ever had. I got a pretty good one once at Ginger Rubio in San Francisco, however I have to say this one tops it. My stylist's name was Yuriko and she was really friendly and nice. We were just talking about small things when I told her I was learning Japanese and after that my friend (who had come with me) and Yuriko-san had a great time just chatting. However, the five stars aren't because I really loved her personality, no. She did a REALLY wonderful job on my hair. She took her time, thought it out and made sure to make the cut accentuate my natural curl. She also made sure to ask me whenever she was cutting it in a way I might have a problem with and she did an overall fantastic job. I have been to many salons over the years and have finally found a hair colorest I like. Her name is Heather at the Salon Laurent in Irivne. I have finally found a hair stylist who can turn very dark hair into light hair and make it look good! There are many who say they can do this, but they can't. Many have tried to match my olive skin tone with a light color, but they can't get it right. My being an olive skinned girl, have had trouble with this, Heather knows how to get it right. You Latina's out there know what I'm talking about. I also like the fact that you don't have to wait a month to get an appointment like at the previous salon I attended. She also doesn't work on two people at the same time. She gives you all her time and attention. The previous hair stylist I used to go to would double book and jump from me to another client then back to me. I would end up sitting in the chair waiting for my turn, and leaving the salon much later and feeling like I was part of a quota system for the hair stylist. The price Heather charges is in the $70 range but I feel like I finally can go to someone who can lighten my dark hair and match the color with my skin tone beautifully.
