Had a haircut today with Kelly and I am extremely happy with my hair! Last year I went to Mandi and she was fantastic, but I was in a bit of a time crunch and really just needed the soonest available. Kelly understood immediately what I was looking for and what my hair needed and she was very personable and easy to have a conversation with. Everyone knows you have to click with your stylist! Lol. Been going here for years. I was introduced to Nicolette and she's been cutting my hair ever since. Fall of 2017 I surprised Nicolette that I wanted a pixie cut. She graciously declined to cut my hair since she does not do that kind of cut. She made me another appointment with Ginger. I love my pixie!!! This just shows you that Nicolette will take care of you even if she's going to lose a customer. I eventually let my hair grow out again and I'm back with Nicolette. Nicolette also cuts my daughter's hair. I surprised my daughter with a hair color for her 16th bday (I was against it for so long since she wants red). I finally agreed to it and I know that Nicolette will not steer us wrong. She did an amazing job. Daughter loved her new cut and color. I found this place when I first moved to Santa Clarita and I'm so glad I did! I only get my hair cut every couple of years, but this is my go-to. AJ is awesome! When I called to make an appointment with her, the woman on the phone was very accommodating, I'm always greeted right away when walking in and always feel welcomed. I've only gone one since the pandemic started, but everyone was wearing masks and I felt totally comfortable. AJ is super friendly, professional and my hair always looks great! She always makes sure she has the right vision and makes suggestions for me. They are really reasonably priced and I appreciate that most recently I got a call the day before my appointment reminding me of it and telling me that she is only currently taking venmo, cash or check, so I made sure to bring my checkbook with me. I am so sad I am moving and will need to find a new stylist, but I would highly recommend Salon Seven and particularly AJ. read more

I love this place! I went to AJ for a pretty drastic cut and color, and came out feeling like a new woman! I went from having long--past the middle of my back--light brown, goldish hair, to shoulder length dark brown hair with bangs, and my experience couldn't have been better. I absolutely adore my new hair, and the craziest thing about it is that I hadn't had my hair styled in over 7 years, but I left feeling like my hair had always been short and dark brown. That's how great of a job AJ did. AJ walked me through everything she did and took direction from a sample picture I brought in, as well as my input in person, amazingly well! This place is a little pricey, but compared to the prices across the SCV and the quality of service given, I am very quick to recommend it to anyone who's thinking of a style change. How amazing is Ondrea? Beyond amazing. The word "amazing" does not suffice, and I am working on inventing a more fitting word. I'll get back to you on that. Linguists, hold on to your butts. I recently moved back down to SoCal after a few years up in the Bay area, and I was looking for a really decent stylist after wandering like a nomad through the salons of San Francisco. And I found Salon Seven, and in it, Ondrea -- someone who is WAAAAAAYYYY beyond just "decent". She is perfect. My first appointment with her, my hair was damaged and had devolved into a formless mess that I'd been putting off dealing with for months. She gave me an INCREDIBLE cut, one that has been growing out fantastically. The salon itself is such fun and is a warm, welcoming environment -- I feel as though I've known everyone who works there for years. My second appointment, I went in for a cut and color -- I decided that I wanted to go for a platinum blonde (a difficult feat, considering my hair is red). Ondrea was very honest about platinum being one of the most difficult colors to achieve, and she is currently working with me to slowly transform my hair through lighter and lighter shades of blonde highlights over time to get me there with as minimal amount of damage as possible -- I cannot TELL you how appreciative I am of her patience. I once went platinum through a stylist who did it all in one day and did not warn me of the damage it would (and DID) do to my hair. The color I've got at the moment is BEAUTIFUL, and I am so glad I don't have to go through any awkward all-over orange shades during this process. Love it! Mandy did an awesome job with my daughter's color. She was wonderful and patient with her. We had a consultation with her a few days ago and she found the color that my daughter wanted. When the bleaching process revealed pink underneath she worked with my daughter to come up with a plan to work with it. I would definitely recommend her for the bright, punky colors. Salon Seven is AMAZING, especially Ondrea!! Oh my gosh, I can't say enough great things about this place. The salon is absolutely adorable with such cool and cute clothing and accessories for sale in front. I'm not a big hair or style gal, so it's refreshing to find a place that will work with your personal style to freshen up your look to be exactly what you need! I chopped off 19" of my hair to donate to Locks of Love. This is my 6th time donating in 15 years. This time I actually decided to "pre-chop" my hair at home...because in past times, they've always cut off the donation part, and then proceeded to cut off another 3"-4" shorter that I felt like was a waste that could have been donated. Well...needless to say, there is a REASON why there are professionals who do this. I ended up cutting it several inches shorter than I had meant to (oh well...it's just hair, right)? I read all the AMAZING reviews about this Salon, and particularly about Ondrea...so I just knew she would be awesome. Even so, when you bring in a crazy hack job of a head like I did, there isn't really much left to work with. I'm not crazy picky, but she definitely had her work cut out for her. Ondrea didn't even flinch and worked miracles! She was able to effortlessly give me the exact highlights I've been trying to describe to 3-4 other local salons (who by said the highlights would start around $350). Then she cut and styled my hair even better than I could have expected and kept as much length as possible. On top of that, she introduced me to an amazing product that works wonders for my hair! I've wanted wavy/curly hair all my life, but it's always been stick straight Asian. After I had my kids, it kind of started naturally getting a little wavier after each birth...but never really did anything that looked good. I'm a "shower & go" type of girl who spends less than 60 seconds getting my hair everyday. This product she showed me is exactly what I needed. Just a quick pump and run it through your hair and go. The salon itself is extremely clean, upbeat, bright, and has an awesome vibe. Every single person working there was super nice and cool. I loved the vibe and atmosphere. Salon Seven off of McBean Parkway. I was quite please with this salon. It was quite quaint in nature with cute one of a kind novelty items for purchase located at the entrance. I was somewhat sorry I did not purchase those interesting sunshades I kept eyeing. I was greeted with a smile and professionalism. Emily was my stylist who greeted me and walked me back to her station to consult with me about what I needed. I wear extensions due to some hair lost. I was very impressed with Emily's level of ease, confidence and skill with cutting my extensions. She just seem to know what I needed. I did not need to go into a lot of detail. Her experience with installing and cutting extensions was apparent right away. First I would like to say that I gave Salon Seven 5 starts not just because I was please with the service and finished product; I also gave them 5 stars just for having the common courtesy of calling me back. I received a call back after inquiring about services on Yelp. I quite often will use Yelp or Instagram to find a specialized or hard to find service in Santa Clarita. Many of the salons do not acknowledge or bother to call you back when contacted on Yelp or Instagram. This salon call me back and set up an appointment. If your looking for a specialized service such as adding extensions or hair styled and cut; I highly recommend Emily.
