I've been to Salon Tiffany multiple times in the past with same haircut and partial highlight a few times. As many other customers stated, any hair cut takes only 10 minutes even long layer and shaggy on the sides. I've been to so many other hair salons and had never had any professional stylish haircut could be done in 10 minutes. This time partial highlight got so wrong! While Tiffany (she is the only person who does haircut or any colors in the salon) was putting the highlight, the other lady was helping her. The other lady was talking talking and talking non stop while she was washing my hair, helping Tiffany for highlight or while she was drying my hair. After she put the highlight, she put me under the heat. Soon after about 5-6 minutes, my scalp started burning and I had to step out of it. It was burning for a few minutes and no one checked it. After my hair got washed, dried, haircut, it was ok (because she styled and made my hair lightly curled at the tip). Then after my first hair wash next day, I couldn't even put my fingers through my hair. I have shinny, healthy, silky extremely straight hair and no way my hair can be curled but it was super wavy and it didn't even look like my real hair. After a few days, I contacted Tiffany and told her she might have had some chemical or solution on the comb that she was using and accidentally made my hair super wavy. She checked my hair, but she said it's my body or hormonal changes did that to my hair which I don't believe that. My other hair stylist who was doing my hair for ages checked my hair after I used some high quality conditioner, but he said Tiffany did something wrong and messed up my hair texture and no way he could even fix it since she probably used some poor quality chemical with possibly mixed with highlight solution so I basically have to wait until I'm ready to cut my hair short or chop it little by little (my hair id very long so it will take very long time to get my original straight healthy shinny hair). It has been 2,5 months now and it's still horrible. I still can't comb my hair smoothly like before and it doesn't matter what kind of great hair product I use, it's horrible, fuzzy, dry and still wavy which I am so no happy with it. If you want to have a nice hair cut, don't go to her. She only wants to save time and do extremely quick poor haircut without even showing you how it is at the end and some hair color or highlight could be damage your hair and make your hair condition horrible for the one time trip! read more

They were very efficient and all the workers work together and Tiffany does still cut and everything else. I recently did a straight perm and it's prob still the best price at $260 and includes a cut. Took about three and a half hours? My hair length is shoulder length. I came into the salon with not a lot of ideas on what to do with my hair (other than the length and wanting bangs), but Tiffany was really helpful by including her insight! I was also a bit scared with getting bangs, but Tiffany did a great job of starting long and slowly cutting more if I was comfortable with it. If you want a quick haircut, this is the place to go! This was my first time going to Salon Tiffany. I give it a 4 star because of the staff and how clean the shop is. They also took me on short notice too, when I called they gave me an appointment time on the same day. I went in for a haircut, my hair was long and it was just time. I arrived and they took my temperature at the door before entering the shop which was great. All staff and customers wore their masks the entire time. As for the haircut, I want to give it 2 stars. When you get a haircut they wash your hair, and two staff members blow-dried my hair. When it was time to cut my hair I told her I wanted a Long blunt textured haircut. She told me where I wanted the length and I showed her to my chest (just above the boob) I still wanted length that's why. She ended up cutting all the way to my shoulders. Like really short. It wasn't a bad haircut but it wasn't the length I wanted. I could have had a bad experience but I didn't. I just received a shorter haircut than expected. I ended up paying a tab of $62 because I was scared of telling them my haircut was too short. (like I said it wasn't a bad haircut, it could've been worse) I recommend when you go, just make sure you are paying attention to the length you want. As for the parking, there is paid building parking. I believe they validate for the first hour. I can't say for sure because I got dropped off. But the receptionist asked if I needed validation. Now that I live in Arizona for the past 3 Years. It is so hard to find an amazing hair stylist that Youve been going to for so long (20 +) Years. Ive been to a few here in Phoenix but, Its a meeehhh! Lol...A few already messed up on my coloring of hair that I dont trust anyone already with my hair color. Plus, I dont get how nowadays they write your estimated down on a piece of paper and tell you how much they will charge for each section they are doing. Tiffany is an amazing stylist. She is a total boss and runs this shop as the main character with several capable assistants. When you're good, you know you're good. That's Tiffany. If you are the kind of person that likes to get a good hair cut/color/texture process without any BS, this place is for you. Friendly? Yes. Talk your head off with needless small talk? No. Some of the reviews here are disappointing when they mention "I was worried because I don't speak Korean". Um. Everyone at Salon Tiffany speaks English perfectly well, thank you very much. They are busy because they are rad, so please make an appointment, but trust and believe if you show Tiffany a photo of what you want she will get to work. No whining or arguing involved. To illustrate this point I asked her to bleach my hair to platinum and she did it without telling me repeatedly that it would dry my hair out, blah blah blah. She did it and it turned out great. I'd give zero if that ws possible. This place was bizzare and not friendly. The girl washing your hair doesn't put a smock on you so she's splashing water on you while it feels like she's going to pull your head off. I showed Tiffany a picture of what I wanted and told her three things I wanted. She ignored everthing I said and did what she wanted while giving me a rude attitude. Then two of them dry your hair really rough at the same time and you feel like you're going through a car wash. I won't go back. Prices are reasonable, but that's no good when you're not getting the cut you want. When I got home I noticed she chopped off a chunk of my hair and I have this weird piece stick out now when I wear a pony tail. Little late review . . . My daughter's graduation from UH Manoa was approaching and her photo session was coming up. The hair appointment that I had scheduled someplace else (three days before her photo shoot) was cancelled that morning as I was driving there. I was a wreck! I had an appt for 1:40pm on a Saturday. I hadn't had a cut in a while, so my hair was long and the ends were pretty damaged. I was running late so I called and they were happy to take me later but asked if I could wait a little. Not a problem at all! I arrived, waited a grand total of 5 minutes or so, and then was whisked away to get my hair washed. One woman washed my hair and prepped my hair for cutting, then a woman with silvery blue hair (I'm assuming that's Tiffany) came and asked what I'd like. I showed her a couple pictures of bangs and long layers but she encouraged me to go shorter since my hair is so fine and thin. We didn't talk story much, but she did that with my hair, keeping it long doesn't do anything for me because it just lays there and the weight pulls at my scalp. I told her I trust her so she can take more off, and so she just started trimming away. After about 7 minutes, she and another woman both started drying together, then Tiffany used a flat iron to style it. She trimmed a little more, and I was done. My hair looks SO HEALTHY and soft! I like the cut a lot and even the woman in the chair next to me complimented it! Usually the places I go put a lot of product in afterward to keep the style, but the cut speaks for itself here,and my hair doesn't feel crunchy or heavy with product. I'm super impressed. Altogether it was probably about half an hour or so! And $40! I'll definitely be coming back. Park in the SALT lot, first hour is free, and the salon is on the Ewa side of Salt facing the Dry Bar. The salon is located next to the new SALT complex. My appointment was on a Saturday 11:30a. I had a cut, perm, bleach done. Total came out to ~$250. All of that took around 5 hours. I was starving by the time I was done. This salon interior is cute but quite small, and there aren't many seats. The staff are Korean but Tiffany speaks superb English as well as the staff. They are hardworking and very great at their job. I had asked for a regular perm, color, and a trim. Tiffany suggested I cut shoulder length so I went with it since my long hair was damaged on the ends anyway. I had also asked for ash brown hair like a greyish bright brown color. Then she proceeded to work on my hair. Lots of down time waiting as there were many customers this day. They did the perm first and then bleach. Haven't bleached my hair ever! So I was nervous. For those people who haven't done bleach, fyi that stuff burns! Then they had to wash my hair off like 5 times to get the stuff out seriously. The only thing I would have to say is that I was slightly disappointed in was the color. Wasn't exactly the grey brown color I wanted but more of like a honey brown with blue tints. It still looked great, but Its a very bold color. Looked completely different! So if you are thinking about bleaching your hair you might want to go to another salon for that. After hearing a multitude of good things about this salon from my friends and finding out that the haircut was only $40 (compared to the $60 I used to pay at my old salon), I ditched my old salon and put my faith into this one. Thankfully, I did. The day I got my haircut was a day of spontaneity. According to their brief description on the McCully shopping center website, they do accommodate walk-ins. But to guarantee myself a spot, I decided to call. Sure enough, they had an opening for me at 1 pm! The salon gets busy around this time and each stylist can be working on more than one person at once, especially if you're getting some kind of hair treatment or coloring that may take a while. Nonetheless, I arrived early to my appointment (around 12:45) and they took me right away. The entire traditional haircut process with shampoo/conditioner/blow drying will take at max, 30 minutes. My hair went up to my waist prior to my haircut but they still finished within that time! The most notable thing about my experience was how polite and respectful the woman cutting my hair was. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like. At first, she cut it considerably longer than what was in the picture just to make sure that she didn't cut it too short the first time. I greatly appreciated that she took into consideration that I might have been shocked by the sudden change to short hair after I explained to her that I've had long hair for years. After I gave her the okay to cut more, she went ahead and did it. I love the final product! My first experience at Salon Tiffany's was quick and pleasant. I have never had a hair cut that only lasted 10 mins. It was maybe 30 mins with the wash and blow dry. I went in wanting her to cut about 2" off my long straight hair and layer it a bit. Literally my hair was wet as ever and she grabbed a handful and teased it with one swoosh using those comb-like scissors. The whole back of my head was "textured"/layered like that with 4-5 swooshes and that was it. The front was two fast cuts to each side. The whole "haircut" took her maybe less than 15 cuts max. I was cringing the whole time I saw her w the swoosh to my hair. The result? The choppiest hair cut EVER. I look like some homeless person with a super uneven rugged cut! before picture is to the left, after to the right. The one on the left was layered by a super detailed stylist for an hour of cutting where he'd layer and manicure it strand by strand. I've been going to Salon Tiffany for the past 8-9 years, and I usually see Tiffany, the salon owner, for a haircut. The salon is located in Kakaako, in the new SALT complex. It's on the first floor, facing Keawe Street. There is a lot of parking in the complex, as well as metered street parking. But you might as well park in the complex - the first hour is free! And if you're only going for a haircut, you'll definitely finish under an hour. They also validate, in case you decide to stay for lunch after your fabulous new 'do. The salon is small, about 3 salon chairs. Think: a small studio in Downtown Honolulu. But that definitely doesn't detract from the spectacular service. And the interior is VERY cute. Anyway, enough about the way the salon looks. Let's talk about the service and the prices! They are very reasonable and they do such a great job. What I like best: they are FAST. No frills. So if you're looking to get pampered, you've come to the wrong place. Another great thing about this place: they work as a team. Of course your stylist will cut/color your hair, but the rest of the team will help to blow-dry, wash, remove foil, etc. That's what makes this place run so smoothly. So I made a appointment for hair perm for long hair. They said they will take 3 hours or less I had to wait for 4 hours and just for the perm. All the stylist was doing my hair and everything. I swear they were so aggressive with my hair they kept on pulling my hair and pulling my ear rings which hurt a lot when you have a lot of them. I spent $250 for a perm that wasn't even good or straighten. After not washing my hair for 24 hours I finally washed my hair last night and when I woke up this morning my hair was still wavy as heck! I have been coming here for over 4 years to have Tiffany highlight my hair. She is the master!!! You show her a pic and say no more... she goes straight to work. I've never seen a colorist get my hair as blonde as she did with the least amount of damage in the least amount of time. She has two helpers that shampoo and blow dry but Tiffany is the only one that touches your hair as far as cuts, color and style. She is quick and efficient, not much for chit chat, but still very friendly. She has people in and out of her salon so fast and they are always leaving with a smile. She took me to the back and washed my hair. I got an inch and half cut off and layered. I also went bold and cut bangs. Ahhhhh..... We'll see how well this style hold up. IMPORTANT: Tiffany is at a new address, off Ala Moana Blvd. (corner with Keawe) so I think a few people are writing bad reviews to the salon that is at kapiloani, but that's not hers anymore! Her new salon is right behind the Sprint store and has a very small signage. Very hidden.) I love Tiffany. I had done straightening on my hair for 5 years with her, religiously twice a year, and only stopped because I relocated to San Diego 3 years ago. I'm in Hawaii for a quick vacation and took the opportunity to get my hair done again. Her new place is somehow hidden and smaller than the kapiloani location but with a modern and trendy decor. You can tell the quality of furniture, decor and products are top of the line. The service and price is still the same great as I remember from the past, she is still a sweetheart and I left in love with my hair as I always did.
