I arrived at this Firestone location at 7:30 AM for a simple oil change. It's now two hours later…read moreand I'm still here. For most of that time, the employees didn't seem to be doing much of anything -- no urgency, no productivity, just standing around. There's no reason such a basic service should take this long when the shop clearly isn't busy. Poor time management and terrible customer experience.

Went in for a diagnostic and repair. Repairs were made but I was still having trouble. Returned and…read moreleft my vehicle for a long weekend while I was traveling. I had to reach out to get any sort of update because they didn't. Communication was through text and wasn't very good. Texts read like they were from a child. Didn't receive a text response to my last text and was told he didn't get it (how convenient!). They never would admit that they couldn't find the problem and never did tell me to come get my car, I asked 3 separate times. Called the Firestone Corporate Customer Service toll free number and was told that an area manager would reach out to me within 2 days. It's been 4 days and still no call. Store manager was argumentative and unprofessional to say the least when I did pick up my car. Several times he acted like we were a bother and laughed about us waiting for the area manager to call us (I guess he knew that wouldn't happen). I requested copies of the diagnostic reports and he didn't have them ready when I arrived. He just argued about what they did to try and figure out what was wrong with my car. I will never take my car back there, even for the simplest of services.

I first moved to the DFW area and lived in Burleson. Seeing how much people commute it's obvious…read morevehicle maintenance is extremely important. It's ridiculous how many cars you see stranded on the side of the expressway. Therefore i started to check out local auto shops near by. My uncle is a mechanic and works at a shop in south Texas where I'm originally from and was used to his low prices and reliable work. So these qualities was what I was looking for in a shop up here. I came across Burleson Tire because it was near the place I was living at the time. I had checked other larger "chain" shops but their prices were pretty high just as expected. Burleson Tire had reasonable prices in regards to their hourly work (about $75 i think per hour). Oil changes ran about $25. I brought a new set of tires and have had no problems, I got a nail stuck in them a week later and they fixed it for free. I have had my radiator replaced, new struts installed, a completely new wheel bearing/hub assebmbly done, and a few other parts fixed/replaced. They prices were significantly lower than everywhere else. The replacement wheel bearing they put on crapped out a month later and they got a new one and did the labor at no cost. The owner, Robert, is a good guy and won't screw his customers over or get you parts you don't need, a quality that is rare in mechanics. In all, if you live in Johnson county near Burleson, Crowley or Cleburne hit up Robert at Burleson Tire. It's a family owned shop and his prices and work and superb. And if anyhthing happens with his work he is good to fix it.

I took my Jeep in to have the breaks checked and also a leak of some sortsome sort on the left rear…read morebrake shield. Robert let me know that the brakes are good and it was the axle seal that was leaking. We got the Jeep back ahead of schedule. I have taken three (3) vehicles to him over the last 12 years. I will continue to take my vehicles to them.
