I had my hair color done by Sal the owner price was 300.00 plus tip. Totally worth it. I went from dark brown to caramel. My hair wasn't damaged in any way. He also gave me a steam oil treatment and dried and gave me beach wave curls. My hair looks and feels great. He's also very nice and professional. The salon looked nice at first but my girlfriend wanted a simple layered haircut for curly hair. We asked if they knew how to cut and they immediately said yes. We took their word but we should've never. My girlfriend's hair turned out to be choppy, thinned out and uneven in most places. For heck's sake, Sal's wife burned her head using the blow dryer. Had an appointment with Sal the owner, and he is an amazing hair stylist and he knows his craft very well. I went in for a layered haircut after being disappointed with many typical salons here (that don't know how to do layers despite claiming to), and he did an amazing job with my hair and he listened to my concerns and was very patient. Just by the way he cut hair I could tell he knew what he was doing. His prices were reasonable. To top it all, as a first time customer he gave me a free 30$ deep conditioning treatment that my hair needed. There's also a raffle he offers for 1000$ off services and 150$ off products as a first prize and good second and third prizes too. I walked in looking for a simple touch up to my fade. It took 20 minutes for someone to correct the mistake they made. I asked for nothing other than just a touch up. Nothing off the top or my head or any comments about the color or my hair. The hair stylist started cutting and I had to ask twice to not have that done. There was no space. No one was was respecting people privacy or space. ALL the tools were being shared among staff and no cleaning happening in between. I was not cleaned off. I was slapped with a towe. Got burns on the side of my head from the hair dryer. Over all it wasn't great. I didn't feel very welcome. It almost felt very LGBTQ unfriendly. They did not tell costs upfront and it was THE most expensive cut my daughters ever had. If you're going to charge $200 for a cut and color touch up you need to tell people upfront. This financially hurt our family. We've always been told upfront at other salons how much it would cost in every step of the process. This was a huge sticker shock. read more

I felt pale and old. I had no expectations. Same unremarkable style for the past 5-6 years.. What can I say? Sal was my unexpected blessing. He smiled and told me not to worry, because he knew exactly the style and the color I needed and that I was going to love it. I must admit I was pretty skeptical, but did not argue. He gave me a complimentary hair treatment that absolutely hydrated my dry hair. Afterwards, he gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had and styled it in a way that gave my lifeless hair volume. Horrible experience should have known better by noticing no one else was there. I asked for my hair to look like a picture the owner said " yeah I can do that". It was my first time at a salon too. Needless to say he didn't come close to picture. 150$ later I'll never go back. Also trimmed and styled which I didn't want. Since it was my first time I thought maybe I have to get use to it.
