I only ordered side dishes. I'm not a big meat eater but I love all the side dishes! I was however surprised that you can only get them separate. You cannot order an entree with two sides included for "x" amount of money. This is not the norm and not very customer friendly. Here's the good and the bad. We'll do good first..............I loved their cornbread. Lots of BBQ joints do not know how to make good cornbread and even seem to consider it an after thought. Big Mistake. I liked the Mac and cheese. M & C is very personal. If you ask 10 people how it should be made you may get 10 different opinions. I like mine a little creamier but this was good, nice and thick and tasted great. The only way you can get burnt ends is to get them in a beans and burnt ends dish. The beans were good but the burnt ends they put in the dish were tough and dry. After chewing and chewing some of the pieces I spit them out. I love collard greens. Collard greens are one of the reasons I go to BBQ joints. Here it comes......they cook the greens with something (hot sauce maybe?) to make them burn your mouth hot and spicy. Why would you ruin collard greens by making them so hot that you don't even taste the greens? They went into the trash. I hate hot and spicy. I've never been to a restaurant that did that. Really annoying. This place is not cheap, so don't expect "typical" BBQ restaurant prices. But it's in an upscale Westchester neighborhood so I suppose they charge what people are willing to pay. More power to them. Keeping a restaurant running is expensive and exhausting. I might return sometime and try their chicken. I'll have some more cornbread and M & C and try another side dish. In the Mt Kisco area and enjoy good BBQ, definitely hit up Br'ers. You can thank me later. This is my 4th time ordering from Br'ers. They are extremely consistent in the product they prepare and serve. I always order the 1/2 pond of Turkey and try other things. The Turkey is nicely brined and smoked , sliced thick and it is moist and juicy every time. Outstanding flavor. Today I got the kids chicken tenders that came with fries. They offer tots as a side and I ordered online and put a request to swap tots for fry's and to my delight , they did just that. Nice crisp on the tot with nice potato flavor. Chicken is light and crispy with a flavor crunch. Mac and cheese is another staple when I order and once again the consistency is spot on. As a result of consistency don't be upset when something is out of stock. The food is always fresh The building is on the corner, parking for pickup on the street. They do have several high top table and chairs for waiting and dining. If takeout order on line and you will have the most up to date menu. Last couple of times I went the food quality has gone down the toilet. Got the brisket two weeks ago and it was dry and rubbery. Got the fried chicken lat week and again this week and it was terrible. What happened!!?! This place WAS great. Br'ers was truly an amazing good experience. I had the Brisket Egg and cheese on Texas toast. When I tell you that that was the most amazing breakfast sandwich I've ever consumed it's an understatement. The egg and cheese was perfectly melty and fluffy and the brisket literally melted in my mouth. It was so tender with the perfect amount of smoke and bark. The service you can definitely tell they take their time and make everything perfectly. It's also a small cozy little place but the atmosphere is all about the amazing food. This might be a frequent morning stop for me. The vibe inside is cool and relaxed with a bit of charm. It's not a big space but there is some seating. Service was solid, the staff was friendly, patient, and gave me great recommendations for a first timer. I went with two picks: * Brisket Egg & Cheese -- house smoked brisket, scrambled eggs, American cheese on Texas toast. Super buttery and cheesy. My only critique is the brisket was sliced a little too thin, which made it tougher to bite through in a sandwich. * Breakfast Burrito -- house smoked pulled pork, scrambled eggs, American cheese, pico de gallo wrapped in a tortilla. This one was the winner for me. Smoky, spicy, and loaded with flavor. Parking is the biggest challenge. It's on a tight, busy street with not much available nearby. Was liking the $20 special well its significantly smaller ....so if you see the pic i enclosed , the box platter is now half the size! The price is the same but the portion is NOT....BUYER BEWARE!!! Now instead of 3 slices of Brisket it's one slightly thick slice...3 smallish ribs & some very peppery pulled pork....its so not the same ....in one month time they manage to kill this deal effectively....Come on B, whats with the shortchange?!!! The food here is absolutely amazing! I went in with my boyfriend to get some food to eat for dinner. I got a burger and he got this amazing meat platter. The food tasted fantastic. They also had these drinks there and that was one of the best apple ciders I've ever had. Overall, this is an amazing place to have food. I only wish it was bigger to eat in House versus takeout. it's a small location that can only fit three tables and there's really no parking so it's designed for takeout or delivery. Whether you do takeout or delivery it's definitely worth it. The woman who rang us up was very nice and sweet and informative. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy barbecue. read more

Unreal!!! Cannot believe this delicious BBQ spot is now a mile from my house, heaven help me. The burnt ends burrito is one of the greatest most indulgent burritos of my life - layered with pork, the fattiest parts of the brisket, and their sweet baked beans in a grilled burrito wrap. The brisket sandwich is also so good, full of crunchy coleslaw and a fresh roll, so well balanced. The mac and cheese is creamy and the lemonade and iced tea is like summer in a cup. Order was waiting for me perfect timing upon arrival, I selected a black cherry soda but the lemonade caught my eye. Put a small bit of iced tea on top it was very good, I'm glad they left me the empty cup so I could change my mind. The fries, no complaints they were good. Very similar to Burger King with less grease. The burrito, this thing was genuinely heavy. Was hard to finish but it was just so good. Genuinely beat my expectations. I think the problem here is that the brisket, by itself, had been grossly misjudged. Pictures of the sad sandwich did look dry. However if you were to purchase just the 1/2 lb brisket by itself, it is beautifully marbled with the right amount of fat! Yes people that is the key to a tasty brisket. That is indeed what we did and supplied our own homemade bread. Now if you were to purchase the sandwich, can you ask to make it as high-caloric, heart-stopping as possible? I don't know. Fortunately there are other options. There is pulled-pork, burnt end burritos, empanadas, ribs, fried chicken and lots of sides. The menu is quite varied. We ordered the empanadas and there is a spicy heat to them. I happen to like that, so be warned if you're not. The sauces were good and there are several options. Family catered from here for a Sunday lunch. I'm always a little skeptical of 'good' BBQ as a novice smoker - but what was served today was phenomenal. Baby backs were huge for the cut, the brisket was incredible - both point and flat, and the pulled pork was next level juicy. All came wrapped in peach paper. Sides of spicy cucumber, corn chop, potatoes, and Mac and cheese were also all superb. Sauces were all delicious and must be made in house. I'd say the bulk of their business is take out since there are only 3 small tables inside. So it's a bit cramped and short on space. However, the food is divine. The brisket is smoky and full of deep flavor. The pulled pork sandwich is huge and loaded with melt in your mouth pork. We tried the empanadas too. Wow. They are just delicious. I had great hopes for Br'ers BBQ, they offer my 2 favorite foods, fried chicken and BBQ, and they are 1mile from my home. My family decided to give it a try last night, and we all were pleasantly rewarded by all that we tried. We shared Fried Chicken, Brisket, and Ribs, plus French Fries, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and Cucumber and Lime slices. All of the meats were outstanding, the Chicken was fried boneless thighs which are about perfect for frying, the brisket was moist, tender and flavorful, and the ribs were fall off the bone perfect. The potato salad and beans were outstanding and the sauces were delish with just enough heat. We all loved the hot honey sauce. The food here was great. The fries were so crispy and well-salted, and the brisket sandwich was a surprisingly generous portion at what I thought was a reasonable price. I ate in, though it sort of felt like I wasn't really supposed to. I can't explain why, just a feeling like I shouldn't loiter. Finally, my only complaint (though complaint sounds harsh) is that you have to buy a side of bbq sauce. Nice addition to Bedford hills (/ Katonah / mt Kisco) area full of Italian, Mexican restaurants. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the Italian and Mexican food but when we want bbq, the thought of driving 30-40 minutes to Ridgefield or Tarrytown isn't always appealing. Amazing food! We got the Original Brisket Sandwich, the Baked Beans, and Corn Bread. All were spectacular! The sandwich was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of cole slaw. It was quite large and more than enough for the two of us. Because of the large size of the sandwich, we sampled the beans and took them home. They had a little spice to them and a wonderful bbq flavor throughout. Plenty of burnt end as well. They reheated nicely the next day. The corn bread was pretty much perfect. It was sweet, moist, and delicious. No need for butter at all. We took some of that home as well and it toasted up great. The service was right on. Everyone was nice and helpful. Everything came out quickly. The location was easy to find and park at. The interior has a nice, polished design with reclaimed wood and other embellishments.
