I decided to go here for lunch today on this warm FL day, being that I was in the area. I did manage to fond a parking spot upon arrival. I decided to try their birria tacos. The meat was fresh, tender, and very flavorful as well. It came with consomé sauce, and green chili sauce. I love their consomé sauce. Their green chili sauce is very good, but to spicy for me. The presentation of the dish was excellent, and I loved it. I will return to this location soon. read more

Food is constsntly changing and is never good. One minute the tacos come with rice and beans, the next minute it doesnt. Changing discounts last second, over priced for shitty food. Service is terrible, constantly switching up information between servers, taking their time with food making it cold and having to wait an excess amount of time. Ambiance definitely feels rushed and no time to relax. Constantly messing up orders and never packing the food right to where its not spilling. Meat is always changing in the restaurant and just a constant line of issues. This place needs a health inspection done and definitely needs new crew and new management. I walked in and waited about 5 minutes to be seated. There was no employee out in the dining area. Eventually I was seated, when then it took a fair amount of time for a server to come around to take the order. When the food came out it was the wrong item. I ordered huevos con chorizo with corn tortillas and was brought huevos rancheros with flour tortillas. I don't come into the area very often, but I know now not where to go when I do. read more

The meals were tasty, Arroz Con Pollo, grilled chicken on top of yellow cheesy rice and a side salad with sour cream and guacamole. This place used to be good. Because of moving I haven't been there in a while. On the way home to get chicken fajitas. The chicken is overcooked. It is basically watery peppers. We have visited this location several times and it has been consistently good service and food. Today when we came in we were quickly seated and was able to order. Our order came out faster then I could have guessed. We ordered from the lunch menu so everything was well priced and we even had left overs. Catch some Monday Night Football here recently. The bar was comfortable and overall the place was clean and well laid out. Service was good, the bartender got to me quick and the drinks and food came out quickly. I started with the michelada and asked for a little of the frozen mango to be added. It was really good and a huge drink!! If you're a miche drinker, this one is definitely worth the $! I also had the cantarito, and let me say I enjoyed this one!! It's my go to drink here, I've been back twice since! I had the shrimp ceviche & the California burrito. The ceviche was good, loaded with shrimp, pico, & the oranges worked well with this dish. The burrito (not pictured), was good, but it's not a burrito, it's a fajita. This is not something you can pick up and eat, and it's definitely not California style. It was a good fajita!! Had a great lunch with a friend at Salsas today. We would recommend their margaritas. We both enjoyed what we ordered. The veggie quesadilla is a bit greasy, but still delicious and loaded with veggies. Our waitress was great and very patient with us while we caught up with each other. This spot really has to be in the middle for me. There are times where the service is great or the food or the experience. But it's never all of it at once. I've waited over an hour with the restaurant empty for a forgotten order one night. There were no apologizes. No attempts at making it better. The drinks are almost always bad so I wouldn't drink anything outside of beers or shots. The most expensive top shelf margaritas were served by someone who had to ask how to make them. I keep coming back here for the coconut margarita however, the chicken fajitas are not as good as I would have hoped them to be, but they are not terrible either. The Mexican rice taste like it's a parboiled or an instant rice. It's definitely not homemade Mexican rice, which is a little disappointing. I saw someone share Salsas on a Facebook food group and I'll be honest, I pass by salsas all the time and never even considered stopping by. I guess their menu got revamped and they added birria quesadilla or "pizza" and I knew I had to try it. I ordered it to go on the phone, took 15 minutes and it was still amazing when I got home. Portions were huge. $20 fed my husband and I and we had leftovers. Love that they actually give you free chips and salsa for to go orders since most Mexican restaurants only give it to you for dine in. My friend had to create a round platter and she loved it! So now you may ask why am I giving it a three star the three stars really comes from the service. If you order the over priced Birria tacos that come with grease, pork, and soggy tortillas, you will likely find yourself eating 2 of the 3 because of the price alone and you don't want to waste it. That is literally all that is in the Birria tacos (grease, tortilla, and pork) with a dash of cilantro. We ordered churros and that was the best thing we had ordered tonight if the $47 meal we had. My wifes ground beef enchilada was so bland, the rice and beans had no seasonings. I honestly think their food is priced the way it is because they must be having a hard time keeping the lights on because anyone who try's this place is likely not coming back. I found myself at Salsas for a late lunch. While ordering or waiting on my food, I checked on (or texted) a friend who lived nearby. Funny thing is... they didn't even know this restaurant existed in their neighborhood. FRIEND: Where are you? ME: At Salsas, a Mexican Restaurant near your place. FRIEND: Cool! FRIEND: Wait! There's a Mexican Restaurant near my place? What do they serve there? ME: Mexican food that's better than Taco Bell. FRIEND: What did you order? ME: The small tortilla soup. I thought I was hungry but, this bowl of soup was larger than I expected, delicious and fulfilling. FRIEND: I should come join you for lunch but, by the time I get there you'd probably be finished with your soup. ME: Probably. But, let's still catch up. We met up but, guess where we ended up going? Salsas is a great place to enjoy a bite to eat, a refreshing adult beverage, and good company. After an incredible evening, we stopped here to get something to eat. Sitting on the patio, we were the only ones on the patio, which was very nice. Salsa margaritas were two for eight. Better watch out cause you will drink several before you know it. They are sooooooo good. The food was extraordinaire. My compliments to the chef. Our server was new, but he was great. My only issue which is a big issue for me is that a worker from the kitchen (I gather this from his iniform) came out on the patio, hid behind a jettison wall, and smoked a couple of cigarettes. I elected to sit on the patio for two reasons. One, it was a beautiful night and two, no one else was out there, so I could enjoy my time out there in peace. My peace was broken with the worker smoking. It would have been one thing if it was a customer, but it is a whole different thing. The final arrival of our orders was worth the wait for me. I ate all of the burrito which was plate sized. The atmosphere was inviting.

Strong maRgariTas..Mexican music jamming and fresh chips n salsa..yes it was a good experience. Beautiful interior design makes you transformed to a fiesta of great eats. The arroz con pollo is right on the $$$. The taco salad was huge and perfectly seasoned. A cute patio also offers a nice place to pre siesta. A chill place to have a great sangria and a few street tacos. I know why now it took a while to open cause they had a great designer at work.. looks great and service was just as good! This is most definitely one of the best restaurants I have eaten at not only do they have amazing food I have always been treated just like family here. Even though I don't speak a lick of Spanish more like half ass English lol they still always take the time to explain everything on the menu if needed which I most definitely need most of the time lol. Great experience here. The staff was welcoming and inviting. The salsa is fresh, could have some more spice but still good. The chicken burrito was great, the chicken was seasoned perfectly and was the perfect temperature. I was impressed with the beef tostada and it's flavor.
