King prime rib and Seafood Platter

We love Salt Water Grille. Simple meals that satisfy and friendly staff. We were first excited that they offer Prime Rib Fridays and Saturdays. They started a Thursday night all you can eat BBQ buffet. Ribs, pulled pork, chopped pork and BBQ chicken. The sides change a bit from week to week but favorites like collard greens, sweet potatoes, beans, squash, potato salad, fries and hush puppies are some of the fare as well as rolls and a cobbler or pudding. They have other buffet days (I think Sundays too-check schedule) There is a bar attached and you can eat at either the bar or restaurant side. There is usually the news or sports on the televisions on the restaurant side. In the summer you may need a light sweater as by dinner the air conditioning finally catches up with the heat during the humid summer days. Nice family restaurant

This restaurant is designed only for the Caucasian aka White people in the area. They don't respect African American nor Hispanic or Latino..I dined in there for the first time last week and I was treated like my ancestors during the Jim Crow era. I was seated and for a whole hour, I was never checked on, drink cup wasn't filled or even paid any attention. I'm a hard working Black Man and I've never fully had this kind of blatant racism brought directly to me in all the days of my life. I will never eat from such fish established and the food taste like trash. Lettuce is the best thing you could get when working in there.

We had a fantastic experience from food to service! Upon arrival we entered on the dining/buffet side of the restaurant. There was only one table of diners at that time and the buffet was not open. We decided to head over to the bar side and it was poppin' . We grabbed a couple tables close to the bar for our party of 8 and we were greeted by a friendly server. We ordered a round of drinks and placed our orders. Drinks were served quickly and food came out hot and fresh! Our server went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hush puppies with cinnamon butter were absolutely delicious! Nice little place for some quick, fresh, fried seafood

We went for a motorcycle ride since the weather was so nice. We saw this place and decided to try it out for lunch. It is a popular "locals" place which quickly filled up for lunch. They have a buffet or you can order from the menu. The buffet changes daily. We wanted to sample a little of everything. The fried chicken was very good. Crispy and not greasy with moist meat inside. The chicken and dumplings and beef stew was also good. I tried the fried chicken gizzard which I never had before. Not really something for me. For sides we tried the potato salad, mashed potato w/gravy, mac-n-cheese and pasta salad. Also very good. There were vegetables as well but we didn't try them. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Prices were also good, buffet today was $13 per person. We will come back again when in the area.

We visited on Wednesday June 5th of 2024. We had the cheeseburger and I had fries and my wife had the sweet potato fries. Our burgers were really good and cooked perfectly. We had tea to drink. They served us some hush puppies with honey butter that were very good. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Uploading pictures of our food and the menu.

Flounder basket and BLT and sweet potato fries!

A bit disappointed they took shrimp and grits off the menu! But the service was great and the fried flounder and coleslaw were excellent! Hushpuppies a bit bland and doughy but both types of fries were also good!

We're vacationing in Cherry Grove (North Myrtle) and found Salt Water Grille on Google. We are so glad we did. This place is a true gem that is away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle, and so worth the drive! The service was so friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Everything we had was delicious. The hush puppies were delicious and were served with amazing butter that tasted like it had cinnamon and maybe a little bit of honey. So good!! My sons had the kids grilled cheese sandwich and kids chicken tenders and they both loved their meals... That speaks volumes because my kids are so picky! I had the grilled pork chops and they're probably the best ones I've ever had. They tasted like they had been marinated because they were so moist and so tender. And they were huge! My husband had a grilled chicken breast, which he enjoyed. My dad had a BBQ sandwich and my mom had a BLT, which they both said were very good. We had no complaints. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back on our next vacation. I highly recommend this place if you're on vacation anywhere near Myrtle Beach! It's a must try!

    Pork Prime Rib Eye

Food was good and portion size plentiful. I had the pork prime rib eye which was fantastic, tender and juicy. The fries are hand cut, not my favorite. The slaw was good, (on the sweet side for those slaw enthusiasts out there). My wife had the Fish and chips and opted for a baked potato instead of the fries (good choice). The cod fish was very good and she liked the hush puppies as well. Service was fantastic. It's not a fancy restaurant but a very good local spot away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach.

Located in Longs SC sits Bistro 90…read more The restaurant is nice looking with interesting paintings of celebrities along the wall. Services was attentive and helpful. We started with 2 appetizers, the 1st being Two large pan Seared Scallops over a house roasted Pork Belly. Scallops were great but the pork belly was surprisingly tough. The second app was Burgundy escargot in roasted bone marrow with Pomodoro tomatoes. This is an elegant and interesting escargot dish like you never had before. The wife ordered Center Cut Chilean Sea Bass, with roasted carrots and potatoes. The fish which was cooked perfectly was the largest piece of Sea Bass she has ever enjoyed. I ordered the New Zealand Elk Chop with a Black Berry Deni-Glace. The elk with black berry glaze was good, but the meat itself had some tough pieces. As a side dish, we split the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese. For an up-charge we added both Lobster and Bacon which we both enjoyed. A bit on the pricey side, but solid meal

Amazing experience from start to finish!…read more We booked Bistro 90 for a large group dinner during our company offsite, and it was absolutely perfect. First off, Amanda was an absolute gem to work with! She made the entire process seamless and stress-free. The menu was super easy to build with many yummy choices, the cost was incredibly reasonable (especially for the quality), and the communication was top-notch. The private dining room was spacious, quiet (well I guess we were loud lol), and really did feel like a private experience -- perfect for a group gathering without feeling crammed. Every person in our group walked away happy, full, and impressed. The service was smooth, food came out quickly, and everything tasted delicious. Highly recommend for any group event -- and if you get a chance to work with Amanda, consider yourself lucky!

We looked at the reviews first on Yelp, and they were pretty mixed, but we hoped for the best. On arrival we were greeted at the door and were seated promptly. We arrived at around 4:30 pm, and the place wasn't that full, but everything smelled pretty good. Too bad good smells doesn't equate to good food... Most of the food we ate wasn't very good. The sausage I tried was mealy, and couldn't get past the first bite. The fried shrimp were popcorn sized, and soggy? I didn't even try the snow crab because they looked very small, and were swimming in an unknown liquid. The "ribeye" steak was cut razor thin, and was cooked well beyond well done. At least the prime rib was medium rare, but didn't have much flavor. The best things I ate consisted of the pretty good gumbo, crispy Brussel sprouts, and fresh cucumbers. The bbq ribs weren't too bad either. The wife and daughter had the same opinion of the food. I'll mark this experience as a skip if you are in the North Myrtle Beach area. Especially when two adult meals and a child priced meal (with three drinks) comes to a total of $160.00 with tip. Yikes.
